Absolutely loved our stay! The campsite was gorgeous, and the host was super kind and accommodating. There’s plenty to do nearby — great bike trails, hikes, and lots of nature to explore. A perfect getaway!

Fantastic spot to escape the busy cities, surrounded by beautiful nature yet in proximity of towns and endless beaches. Garry is super welcoming, showed us around and is very responsive for questions.

Very lovely spot perched on a hill with incredible sunset and starlight views. The picnic bench was perfect for dining and taking in the scenery. There were quite a few horse flies during our stay, Garry mentioned they’d just started coming out, but that’s part of being out in nature :)

Beautiful private campground half way along the rail trail. A friend and I stayed here for one night while walking the rail trail and we wish we'd stayed another. Garry was lovely and so accommodating. We booked last minute and he made it so easy. Loved the serenity, the magnicent view, the fire pit, and the sunset Garry organised just for us 👌😅

A beautiful spot at all times of the day, all to yourself. Plenty of room to spread out, set up, and explore. Nestled amongst the hills, trees, and flowers, you quickly unwind and get settled in this little spot of paradise. As night sweeps over Stokers Siding, a whole new world reveals itself. You can lose hours to stargazing at the Milky Way which fills the clearing in the trees.
The elevated entry to site was relatively easy for a Yaris Cross (2WD) and gives you a great vantage spot over the surrounding landscape. Garry is an organised and friendly host who ensures you have everything you need. Thanks Garry!

Garry is a great knowledgeable host who hosted us on his beautiful property. The spot is private and also great for star gazing with a lovely view of the mountains. We made good use of the fire pit and picnic table too, this is a great spot for a little weekend getaway... Thank you Gary for having us!

Gary has been an exceptional host—welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful in explaining the campsite and its surroundings. The site itself is stunningly beautiful and serene, truly a slice of heaven. Garry was a great host. Property was very clean and tidy with plenty of things to do around the area (trails, nearby farms, close to Murwillumbah if you need any supplies. We also appreciated that paper, kindle and fire wood were supplied.

Our stay at Garry’s property in Stokers Siding was absolutely unreal! The views were stunning, and Garry’s hospitality went above and beyond our expectations. The peaceful walking tracks around the property were a definite highlight, and the toilet and picnic table setup made everything super comfortable. Can’t recommend it enough!

Stokers Siding Hilltop Bush Retreat
My family and I had a lovely night camping under the stars with on Garry’s property. The campsite was clean, green and had magical views. Garry was a delight to meet. He was quick to respond with any questions we had prior to our arrival and gave us a thorough run down on the campsite when we arrived. My only regret was that I wish I had camped here sooner and for more nights. Can’t wait to return.

Loved Garry’s property, the perfect getaway. The property was beautiful even in the rain and had everything we could’ve needed. Garry himself made our stay very easy and was incredibly helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.

This is a lovely site looking over the valley. It is elevated and private. Garry provides detailed instructions on expectations and thoroughly inducts campers. He shows you to the site. This is a grassy area. It had been raining so we we careful on the clay and, unfortunately, did not venture onto the steep tracks around the property.

Everything you could want for a quiet night or two away from it all.
Feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, the entire site to yourself and the stars at night.

What a place! Garry has created an amazing camp site that’s secluded and so peaceful. Our rooftop tent at the top of the hill had great views, the stars at night were fantastic.

Our one and only night here was in torrential rain and we still had a really nice time, then woke up to blue skies! Has everything you need + Garry was incredibly helpful with us getting to the site, setting up and then making sure we were okay to leave :)
