We parked our camper within 5m of the beautiful flowing creek which helped with our 12hr nightly sleeping We also enjoyed a 2hr casual walk up the mountain track, great view over the next valley and back down to our stunning camp site. We will most definitely return and maybe with some of our kids and grandkids

The three river crossings to get to the camp ground is a nightmare. Nice place but the amount of cow poop makes walking around like a mine field

Beautiful spot right beside the running creek. Plenty of space. Our crew had no issues getting 2WD vehicles (commodore and hiace) across the creek crossings. We'll be back.

Stunning place, Beautiful scenery, peaceful land and amazing cows. Only issue was the instructions given to enter the property, it’s abit confusing and ended up driving into the wrong house and were told the correct instructions by the lady living there, other than that absolutely recommended

What a lovely place to camp, several camp-sites to choose from. all with fire pits. It was lovely to walk around and explore the property, cow watch and the kids enjoyed the swing and all the space to ride their bikes. The directions supplied are relevant if you drive past the house number supplied. There's no need to enter the driveway of this house. It was a great place to stay honestly.

The spot is beautiful but we do not recommend this for several reasons and will not go again. Instructions are not very clear, not clear indications where to go so at the end we did not know where to go. We eventually figured the small fire rock spots is the camp site. When we arrived we thought we were the only campers as advertise but there were two other sites with campers, the sites were close to each other. The host didn't even knew we booked a spot and purchased wood. When we called the host to ask for instructions and the wood he was not very friendly, message didn't help he did not look at the messages and responded very late. After all of that we didn't even stay the night, we left as this was not what we expected.

Beautiful location next to the creek, took a bit to get there but instructions worked well and access was fine. Only a few campers on a Sunday, super quiet apart from the cows!

The most magical weekend away. It seriously is a little slice of heaven. Beautiful flowing creek with little swimming holes, so much exploring to do and so happy it was dog friendly so we could bring our pup with us. Cows freely roaming and just a true oasis!

Loved the spot. Very isolated and quiet. Basically a one way road to the property so be cautious is you are towning a caravan. We arrived after a few rainy days so a bit muddy and slippery to the site along with dodging cattle. (That's not a criticism, love the cows). The creek is awesome with a couple of deeper spots for a good dip. Only criticism is communication. We found the address but not sure if it was related to the property. Someone came out and said keep going, you'll be right. Worked it out ourselves from there.

This was very secluded right on the creek which was clear and flowing well. A great place to swim and go for walks. Really beautiful country side.

Loved The Creek Camp - it was conveniently located and easy to access through the gate.
Ronald was great to communicate with and gave clear directions on where we could stay.
We stayed one night under the stars by the creek and really enjoyed it.

This is a lovely property and we ended up having a great stay, but first-time visitors should be aware that arrival instructions and communication are quite limited.
Before booking, it wasn’t clear whether this was a single site Hipcamp or a shared property. When we arrived, there were already other campers set up, which came as a surprise.
The Hipcamp instructions suggested messaging the host to meet at the gate and be shown to the campsite, but this wasn’t an option during our stay, we were told to just drive in. With no designated sites, it wasn’t obvious where we were meant to camp or which areas were suitable. We eventually found a spot by following an existing fire pit.
Although there were multiple campers, the sites are well spread out, so it still felt quite private and not cramped. Once settled, the property itself is beautiful and we had a great time.
We also pre-ordered firewood, but there were no instructions on where or how to collect it. There was a small bundle at the front gate, but no guidance on how much to take.
Overall, it’s a great spot and we would stay again now that we know the layout. However, a bit more upfront communication would really help first-time visitors feel less lost on arrival.

Picturesque peaceful quiet place to camp. Beautiful little running creek. Loved the cows. Close to the coast for shops restaurants & swimming. Very welcoming hosts.

"The Island" is beautiful spot surrounded by a nice strech of the creek. The kids had a great time playing and exploring. A peaceful and quiet spot very close to Tweed Heads, although we didn't encounter another person the entire weekend, just how we like it! We'd go back here again for the tranquility and convenience. Highly recommended for a short stay.
