Good access for all types of vehicles and caravans. We have cattle and our own dogs so no pets, please. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood for sale (see Extras). The local general store is 3km away and sells everything! Open 7 days a week. Petrol, ice, groceries, beer & wine, etc. LOCALS TIP! The Crabbs Creek Community Hall is run by the local community and on Thursday & Friday night you can buy a variety of takeaway meals - check out Crabbs Creek Community Hall FB page. The closest beach is Wooyng Beach and it's a 10 minute drive. Pottsville and Brunswick Heads is also close.

We had such an amazing weekend at this campsite! Everything was incredibly well organized, clean, and peaceful. The atmosphere is perfect to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature. The host was very friendly, helpful, and made everything super easy for us from the beginning. You can really feel the care and attention in every detail of the place. The space itself is beautiful, well maintained, and ideal whether you’re going as a couple, with friends, or even in a group like we did. It was definitely one of those experiences that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be returning soon! 🌿✨

Great spot beside a little creek just outside Crabbes Ck. We rode bikes from the site and to the northern river rail trail to Murwillumbah and back.

Great location for exploring the beautiful northern rivers. Clean toilets and quirky shower. Now fenced off from the cows which is an improvement- no more cow pats! Highly recommend.

Clear directions provided to the site; paved roads until the last ~200m or so within the field itself which was a well maintained track (hardcore type surface) - very accessible with 2WD vehicle. Grass pitch was level and well spaced from the other pitches (though I was the only person on the night I stayed). The toilet is a portaloo but clean and with ample toilet paper supplied, there looked to be another further down by the other site. Would stay again. Right by the creek so remember bug spray - I forgot, but only got 2 or 3 bites.

Our second visit to Up the Creek and again, didn't disappoint! Well cared for grounds and facilities and loads of space. This has become our favourite close to home getaway and we will definitely be back. Thanks Nick for having us 😊

This is a nice big field with only 3 spots so everyone has plenty of space. The shower was so cute and the toilets actually had water. The host was friendly and welcomed us. Would definitely come back!

Loved the land, the space, the quiet. Spent 5 nights at Nick's property and if was amazing. Super close to everything, 10m to the beach, 15m from Brunswick Heads, and surrounded by beautiful creeks. Nick was super nice, and I really enjoyed that they had hot showers, makes such a difference. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful setting with a lot of space between camps so it felt private. There were portaloos on site and a rustic shower that was amazing! The river was lovely and we saw fish and yabbies in there.

Beautiful quiet spot. Site 1, where we were is more private and spacious, can't see the road and far from other 2 sites. Own toilet and shared shower. So peaceful hearing only the birds and trickling of the creek. No flys and very few mozzies. Nice breeze. We came to see Byron which was only a 30min drive.

Great time at Up the Creek camp. Nick was a great host- met us on site as we drove in. Fantastic spot with running creek. Water was low but enough to sit in to cool off after cycling the NRRail Trail. Site is 3 kms from start of trail so excellent position. Clean portaloos and quirky but very serviceable shower. All in all a great place to spend a few nights off the grid. Thanks Nick. Hope to be back again soon.

Up the creek is good for a stop over if you are in the area. The amenities are okay - shower is nice with gas hot water and a sky view but the door is a bit small only because there is a camping site positioned out the front of it: I was making eye contact with other campers children playing while I was showering. The toilets were good, standard porta-loos, no hand soap, one was blocked and I let Nick know and he was prompt in picking it up for cleaning the following morning. The campsites don’t get cleaned in between campers so we were picking up food, baby wipes and bottle tops from our campsite and campfire pit.

Really lovely campsite and easy check-in/ check-out process. We stayed on the 31st of December and weren't expecting to be woken up by a ride on lawn mower before 9am on the 1st of Jan. We appreciate that the campground lawn was really well maintained - but having that maintenance happen while we were still asleep really ruined the tranquil feeling. (Particularly on the one day of the year when you would have expected campers to be up late the nigh before)

Absolutely love site 3 loved the veiw just the right camp site for me and my family nicks is so welcoming and is always around somewhere loved the clean toilets as there was 3 porta loo and they looked brand new thats how clean they are and the shower is just perfect for a camp site ground we will be back 100% kids loved it as it was so peaceful shade all day n the creek is right there just perfect baby girl loved the dogs n cows on the property dogs were so friendly it was great weekend thanks again from the Farquhar family

I was in site 3 and I loved it. Nick was incredibly helpful and drove down more firewood for me. The creek was low but running, it was beautiful and cool. So much space between sites. So shady. Such a pretty spot f you want to come and unwind off the internet. I’ll be back
