Amorata Eco Farm is a working sustainable farm with basic camping facilities located in Barkers Vale. We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks. We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem. A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates. Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Amorata Eco Farm is a working sustainable farm with basic camping facilities located in Barkers Vale. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a swim / sauna at the natural pool. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season (Jan - April) for specific access requirements. We are a 10 minute drive from World Heritage listed Border Ranges National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. There are secure dog pens on site to leave your dog whilst you explore the park. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there is no fire restrictions. We have seasoned firewood for sale at reasonable prices. Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property. No portable generators please. Please take all your rubbish with you... this is not a commercial campground. There are no powered sites.

Forest gypsy is a caravan /tiny home combination with a patio and deck. It sleeps 4 - 6 and has self contained kitchen and shower with gas BBQ and hot water. It has 2WD access and 240V power with mobile reception (Telstra). It has a lovely outdoor fireplace and is close to the orchards, natural pool (please don't expect clear blue water) and wood fired sauna (for extra fee). There are two camp mattresses available. In order to keep this place affordable , we encourage you to be self sufficient. YOU WILL NEED TO BRING: #Your own bedding including sheets and pillows. #Eating and cooking utensils, plates, bowls, pans etc. #Drinking vessels #Ice for the esky. Please take all your rubbish with you when you leave as you would when camping. We can supply firewood at reasonable rates.

Lovely, peaceful campsite surrounded by nature. We stayed for a couple of nights and really enjoyed the quiet, relaxed atmosphere, with scenic walks and tracks just a short distance away. Our host, Stuart, was very friendly and welcoming. We would happily stay again! 🌿⛺
