Overall we had a good experience. The kitchen and surrounding is neat. The hot shower isn’t working and using river water which we don’t mind. There’s a neighbour behind the kitchen and have the same access to the river. The river access is not too friendly, steep and narrow. There’s driveways both side of the campsite and 50m away from the main road. Still feel secluded but not at the same time. I still recommend this place for private campsite and last minute booking. 8/10 overall for me.

Whilst it was nice to have all to yourself the listing description is somewhat misleading.
The creek isn’t suitable to swim in however up the road about 15 mins there is a nice place with plenty of swimming, if you are looking for a place to stay with a creek to swim at your campsite this isn’t it.
The listing makes it sound nice and secluded but it’s close to the road.
There is also a neighbour not far behind the camp kitchen you can hear.
It’s not really an issue but it’s not a campsite you would book if you want a secluded spot with nice water.
The camp kitchen could do with a clean and so could the toilet area.
The shower is cute and rustic, it’s not hot like the listing says, however it didn’t worry us being cold as it was really hot when we stayed.
I’ve stayed in so many hip camps is hard to keep track of.
This one was “ ok” but I wouldn’t go there again, however it depends on what you are after.

The good: Sally was responsive and helpful leading up to our trip.. she was lovely to us when we arrived. The location was lovely. Kids loved playing in the river.
The not so good: Both gas bottles were both empty. Hot shower as advertised did not work. Drop toilet is next to the camp kitchen and very smelly on arrival and all weekend, which made cooking and being in the camp kitchen quite horrible. Definitely needs a clean and saw dust. There is a male neighbour only 50m from the camp kitchen (behind trees) that was not told to us, who was possibly drunk and making strange sounds and swearing at night. We would recommend all families check with the host about this, as it was not the “advertised” experience of being on a 30 acre property.
Based on this, I would be dubious to recommend the site.

Loved the private spot. Super green, great little camp kitchen set up and the toilet and shower was just an extra luxury. Found some amazing waterfalls close by and had a beautiful swim. Can't wait to come back.

Nice secluded private spot. Cute little amentities, kids absolutely loved it. Hosts were fantastic. Easy and quick to communicate with. Close to the river and nice walks.

The location was just over an hour from the Gold Coast and is a lovely drive out to the country. The camp site is very private and spacious, great fire pit and amazing camp kitchen and hot shower for you to use as well. Fantastic surroundings in the forest and creek nearby to explore.
Sally was great with communication and would highly recommend, hopefully we'll be back :)

We had a group of boys from work camp here for two nights and we had a blast!
Nice to have the place to yourself and let loose. Beautiful area, very peaceful.
Would recommend highly.

Great spot with creek and nice flat grasses area. Outdoor kitchen was well equipped and toilet very clean, even outdoor warm shower. Would recommend and great spot to camp while our kids enjoyed the bush school,

It’s a beautiful site with good level areas to park up. The kitchen and compost toilet are great. When we visited, the river was deep enough for a good paddle immediately adjacent to the site, and there was a swimming hole a short walk away for a deeper water swim. Impressive array of bird life at the site- a few highlights: watching two log-runners work the forest floor from the kitchen shelter window, a crimson browed finch doing what looked like nest building in the elder, and the glorious racket of two channel-billed cuckoos being raised by a pair of currawongs. It was a little disappointing that the hot shower was out of order when we visited- I would ask about this specifically next time, as it was something we were looking forward to. However, it didn’t detract from our overall enjoyment of our stay at this lovely place.

One of the best spots we've booked on Hipcamp! The additional facilities had a sink with running water, a gas burner, a toilet, and even a hot shower! I assumed the facilities were shared but they were available for just our group and made the trip so comfortable. We were right next to a shallow creek which was perfect for the kids too. We even saw a beautiful goanna! I highly recommend this spot

My friends and I had an absolute blast at this gorgeous, leafy site! The outdoor kitchen facilities were excellent & the creek was such a magical spot to take a dip. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to camp here.

Stayed for a week at this amazing spot. The nature, wildlife and hosts are awesome! It's a real quite, secluded, beautiful place to stay.
Also a big thank you to the hosts for helping us out when our car broke down. Such wonderful, helpful and down to earth people.

Such an amazing little spot if you want to spend time unwinding from screen time, phones & the rat race. We spent two nights here… by the fire place, enjoyed playing cards, wondering the yard picking oranges & enjoying the serenity by the creek. Amazing camp kitchen & the outdoor shower was my favourite part 💛

Stunning place to camp.
Super convenient kitchen setup, toilet and warm outdoor shower! A little swing under almost every tree! So much gorgeous fruit hanging on trees. Uki and Nimbin just 20 mins away for anything needed :)

A great spot for seclusion and nature. The camp kitchen was well'equipped and the toilet was clean. Make sure you check out Cedar Creek for a swim nearby as it's a beautiful spot.

Our first time at 3 at wishes and only had time for a one night stay. Hosts, Sally & Scott were very welcoming and helpful. (Thanks Scott for the assistance with our little hiccup). Found some great spots for swimming. Planning on returning when the river subsides a little.

Nice spot but a bit close to the road with traffic noise if you’re after some quiet time.
The entry to the campsite could be better sign posted and a little hard to manuvre with larger van .
Otherwise , good place to listen to all the birds and chill .
