100 acres of creek flats, with shallow swimming holes at camps bushland and ridges with panoramic views. Mountain biking, hiking, horse riding at the door step. Friendly farmstay for a relaxing wknd or explore the area. Our family welcomes you to our slice of paradise. Nicely centred only a 15 min drive from Lismore, Casino and Kyogle. Less than 1hr from Byron Bay, Ballina annd Evens Head. Gravel road to entry accessible by all vehicles. "Scrubby Creek" is easily accessible to caravans, RV's and big rigs (these sites are close together. If you want more space “Gum Tree Gully" is for 4WD only and The famous LOOKOUT CAMP is 4WD only for tents and swags. Bring the dog for a holiday - but please make sure they are on a lead as cows roam freely and to respect other campers. Please take all rubbish with you. Toilet and shower available. Fire pits are situated at campsites. We have bags of firewood and fresh eggs for sale when available. Be sure to add to your booking so you don’t miss out.

4WD only private site. Guest will have it all to themselves. Tent site. LOOKOUT CAMP  Sitting on top of the world with westerly views over Bentleys rolling green valley and the most amazing sunsets. Privacy and springs fed dam close by for taking a dip. Toilet available but you will have to drive down to it. Bring a portable toilet and shower to avoid this. Track needs some clearance on 4WD but easy track for experienced 4WDrivers.

Beautiful property, Lookout Camp lives up to its name. What a view and all to yourself. Stayed 1 night wished we stayed longer.

Loved the time we spent at Stubby Creek....the site is shaded over in the afternoon and the grass is well kept and short, plus lots of flat spots for tents. The cows are very friendly and do come close, it was our dogs first time meeting cows and he did well. The whole place is so quiet and peaceful and we loved it. We will be back!

Such a great spot for a quiet escape! We had heaps of room for our setup — two cars, a tent, and a couple of gazebos — and no neighbours nearby. The fire pit was a nice touch, and it was super handy being able to add firewood when booking. Amenities were only about 100 metres away.

My son, myself and our mini schnauzer stayed at Katrina’s and Kanes for three nights. It was a perfect base to explore the Northern Rivers and all that there is to offer in this amazing region. We loved our stay, the facilities are great, the view from the top site was amazing and Katrina and Kane were very attentive. We will be back

Firefly camp was beautiful, nice and private, close to the toilet and shower, and had a great area to throw the footy which was shaded at most times of the day. One night was not long enough! Thanks for the great hospitality Katrina and Kane 😊

Beautiful country surroundings in a great central location to Lismore, Casino & Kyogle. The rail trail is also very close. Special mention to Kane he friendly and is a fantastic host. Thanks for having us.

Well kept sites with lovely grassy fields. It was a beautiful experience waking up to see the cows. Kane (the owner) was personable and friendly. Would highly recommend this property.

Thank you so much for having us! Despite the weather we had a fantastic time. The farm is so serene. Thank you for moving the toilet closer for us, that was an absolute life saver, especially for those who didn’t bring gum boots.

Beautiful spot! Lovely big area to camp 🏕 Had a visit from a few friendly calves that came to check us out. We enjoyed exploring the tracks and across the running creek. Very peaceful place.

We loved staying at Bungabee Springs at the Scrubby Creek campsite. It was easy to get to as the directions were easy to follow. The campsites are large and well marked. The hosts are lovely. Nice quiet spot with the only noise being the sound of the creek running over the crossing and the local wildlife. Each campsite had it's own firepit 😎 to relax with a beer in the evenings. We would definitely return 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed 2 nights as it was a beautifull green valley and very quiet. Kane dropped in to say hi and delivered a load of firewood. I one point 20 odd cows came up to check us out.

Stayed for two nights, one at scrubby creek then I was offered the sunset camp and it was immaculate, owners are tidy and have well thought out the campsite with everything perfectly placed. All that tied in with amazing views and gorgeous scenery, I know we’ll be back here soon!

Scrubby Creek camping was perfect for our trail riding group. Plenty of room for floats & horses. The hosts were friendly & helpful. Riding in Bungabee forest is brilliant.

Was a great two nights. Loved all the animal sounds and waking up to the rooster. He makes me smile. The grounds were really kept well and having a toilet and shower are excellent. I'm sure we will return and we'll pass our recommendations to family and friends. thanks :)

Awesome camping spot on a cattle farm. We stayed at the Look Out Site (4WD only). Best sunset we have ever seen. There is a porta toilet and shower available, just a little drive from the sites. Hot water in the shower. The other sites were along the creek and also beautiful. Each site has a fire pit. Kane was very friendly and we were able to buy some extra firewood from him. Can highly recommend this camping spot. Best for self sufficient campers.

Site 4-Scrubby Creek(Caravan & 2WD)
The pleasant, flat grassy Scrubby Creek campsite suited our visit during 3 rainy days. Unfortunately it was a bit of a scramble to walk across the flooded creek to the toilet/shower and too wet for a campfire. We enjoyed the walk to The Lookout and in drier times would like to explore more walks. The daily visits from the cows entertained us as did the birdlife. On future visits we would prefer to stay on one of the 4WD accessible campsites further into the bush. We didn't encounter our hostess. This was a pleasant, close to home escape for a few days.

I booked the lookout site (4x4 only) a month in advance, but when it came around the weather was not the best. It was very wet and muddy and rained most of the weekend, but we still had an awesome time! 100% no fault of Katrina and Kane, as no one controls the weather, but I did get stuck 3 times over the weekend and Kane took the time out of his day to help me get out without me even asking! He saw I needed help and came out in the rain, and pulled me out each time, and was extremely polite and joked about the situation, which made me feel very comfortable! He was not once frustrated or angry, just very helpful and even said that it happens to the best of us, and was very quick to help! 100/10! Would definitely recommend camping here, and would be very happy to come back out again!
