Covered platforms are great in keeping the rain off and the tent dry and mud free. The camping area itself is beautiful, surrounded by bamboo and wild flowers. Hot showers were lovely and very welcome after long days.
The kitchen area was a bit unloved - little touches like some signage would go a long way to making the area feel more welcome. Eg which tap water is ok to drink (I now know it's all rainwater so it's fine), where to put recycling, the correct wifi password, how to light the stove, even a welcome sign! We were supposed to label our food, so providing some paper and pens would be useful. I had trouble lighting the gas cook top (the writeup said full working kitchen so I expected this to work), got told it wouldn't work, then someone else showed me how - it's actually not difficult once you have instructions. An area labeled "Free food" would also be useful for things that previous people no longer need, instead of it being randomly scattered around the kitchen (I was there for a week and no one else used the kitchen the entire time, so I assume it was left behind.)
Overall, was useful to stay there but could be made so much more welcoming with some little touches.
