Thank you for your understanding. Welcome to Blueys Beach Farmstay! MerryLegs's Paddock offers fantastic group bookings, perfect for larger groups. Strawberry's paddock is located towards the rear of the property, offering a comfortable spot for those with kids, with easy access to the amenities. Enjoy lovely grassed areas with ample shade for your camper-van, roof top tent, free standing tent or swag. We have seven (7) acres of fully fenced grassy paddocks, with mostly shaded open areas. We have a 2 night minimum and a 5 night maximum stay at both listings. We're located very close to Blueys Beach where you can stroll along the shore, go for a swim or help the kids build sandcastles. It’s a flat walk from your campsite, only minutes away along the footpath (approximately 350 metres) to local restaurants, cafes and shops. Those visiting with their furry family member can enjoy the nearest dog friendly beach within council regulated hours just a further 150 down the path. You can enjoy access to flushable toilets x 2 and a singular hot shower and a singular cold shower for those after the beach days, please BYO toiletries. We ask that you place all of your rubbish in the bins provided .. we can take your recyclable cans and bottles for the Earn and Return program. To clarify .. YES we have a garbage bin for general waste only .. no recycling bin. We allow campfires when it is safe. ALL fires must be contained in a fire pit. Absolutely no fires are to be lit on the open grass. WE have fire pits for hire and bagged firewood is available for purchase on site .. all fire pits brought onto the property for use by guests will be subject to the discretion of the property owners. All fires and fire pits must be "OK'd" with the property owners prior to lighting, what we're looking for is clearance from the ground to the base of the fire pit .. the greater distance the better. Fires can only be lit in accordance with NSW Rural Fire Services fire restrictions or total fire bans. We've had multiple patches of our buffalo lawn scorched to beyond charcoal by careless guests .. you must ask the hosts / property owners before lighting any fires .. unnecessary burnt patches of lawn may result in you and your guests leaving!! We ask you to please note: ** UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT TAKE ANY CARAVANS .. HYBRID CARAVANS .. MOTOR HOMES .. RV'S .. FIFTH WHEELER's .. BUSES INCLUDING MERCEDES SPRINTERS of any size .. mainly the footprint of these types of vehicles is far too great .. once again we're only a grassy paddock not a caravan park. Standard size camper trailers and camper-vans, roof top tents are all completely fine. If your bus is longer than 4 meters in length, over 2 meters in height and/ or width with a tare weight of 3 tonne or over SORRY BUT IT IS A NO!! If your camper trailer is wider than 2.5 meters or longer than 4.5 metres in length inclusive of the drawbar .. SORRY BUT ITS A NO!! If you have a Jayco of any description .. regardless of length / width OR what the "registration papers say" .. SORRY BUT IT IS STILL A NO!! - If you have solar panels to charge you might have to chase the sun a little, as there are plenty of shaded areas which is perfect come summer. We do not allow the use of "Slackline or Tightropes" strung between our trees, it causes them to be ringbarked after a prolonged use .. meaning they die in the long run .. rope clotheslines and hamocks perfectly ok on the palms, sheoaks and paperbarks!! - Dogs are permitted here however they must be friendly off leash and must NOT chase my pets which include horses, goats , dogs and our pet chooks. Please pick up after your pooch .. as a courtesy to other guests and also to us, it doesn't happen in a caravan park .. please do the right thing here!! PLEASE ADVISE US UPON BOOKING IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET/PETS!! - There are animals that live here and they occasionally make animal noises. Specifically, we have a pet Rooster called Billy .. he is meticulous at his job of being a rooster and can start very early in the morning 4am We ask you to please be understanding during your visit, that this is Billy's home and we ask you to PLEASE RETHINK YOUR BOOKING if you feel this might impact on your holiday or your guests holiday. On arrival, we ask that you stop at the garages at the front of the house to confirm your check-in and get instructions .. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PROPERTY, prior to letting us know you have arrived. NO ARRIVALS AFTER 10PM .. during peak periods it impacts greatly on our other onsite guests, we've had too many complications in the past, appologies it simply it doesn't work. When we have heavy rain, some areas of the property are not car accessible and you may need to walk to some amenities. and keep driving to a minimum. Upon your booking you will receive a couple of private messages from us .. these will be located in your HipCamp Messages on the App or the website they will contain instructions for once you arrive .. PLEASE READ THEM!! If you have not already, please download the "HipCamp" app it makes communication a lot easier. We're happy to help if you need more information .. safe travels always!!

Our campsites are co-located and there will be other families nearby. The paddock is fairly open and wraps around the house area however won’t offer you total privacy if you are looking for seclusion and isolation on your holiday. On arrival, we ask that you please stop at the garages at the front of our house to confirm your check-in and get instructions, someone will come out to meet and greet you before you commence your holiday .. please do not enter the property prior to letting us know you have arrived. We had a great stay overall. The host was very welcoming and friendly, and the bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean. The location was also very convenient, with the beach and cafes nearby. It was a little busy during the holiday period, but the atmosphere was still nice. Firewood is available onsite, but I’d highly recommend bringing your own if possible.

Beautiful spot, well maintained and looked after. Shower/toilets are clean and neat. Close walking distance to coffee shops and beach. Will definitely go again! Only thing to note is the mossies are next level. Make sure to pack enough anti-mossie and apply from the moment you get there 🦟

We had a beautiful stay at Strawberry Paddock and feel so grateful to Jodie and her family for opening up their stunning property. It truly feels like a privilege to camp in such a peaceful, well-kept space, especially in such a sought-after area so close to Blueys Beach and local shops including cafés, a pizzeria, bakery, bottle-o and pharmacy. The property is spacious, clean and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to set up anywhere within the fully fenced area. It was perfect for us with our two dogs and 6-year-old—safe, relaxed and very family-friendly. Our daughter loved seeing the horses, goats and chooks, which made the experience extra special. The amenities were a huge bonus, with access to a hot shower and two flushable toilets. The atmosphere is everything camping should be—quiet, natural and immersive, with no traffic noise, just amazing birdlife and wildlife sounds. You can also hire a fire pit from Jodie, which really adds to the experience. There were mozzies during our stay, but just come prepared with repellent, coils and long sleeves/pants and you’ll be fine. Jodie is kind and accommodating, and it really shows in how well the property is cared for. We truly appreciate the opportunity to stay here and think more people should recognise how lucky we are to have access to a place like this. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful property in a quiet and peaceful location that is only a short walk to the beach or coffee/bakery/Pizza shops. The host, Jodie, was absolutely lovely. Very polite, friendly, chatty and helpful. Toilets and shower was very clean. Only minor negative is the massive amount of mosquitoes, but I think that's just standard around the coast and as soon as the fire is made they all tend to leave. Also quiet a number of flying fox bat's around but that's only very minor. We loved our stay and was very happy with the overall experience. Thanks for having us.

Thank you Jodie, you have made your property a great place for campers and I love all the little finishing touches, fairy lights, ornaments and of course the music in the bathrooms! We will be back and you weren’t wrong about the mosquitoes 😬

We loved camping here. Such a beautiful property with exceptionally clean amenities. Very well located, with a short stroll to cafes and shops. The kids loved playing here with all the space to ride their bikes, and the cute swing and wagon became a favourite place to play. The animals were a beautiful bonus, watching them at the end of the day made for a wonderful view.

lovely location, daugher was really looking forward to seeing the horse in the pics but on arrival we found it was no longer there, RIP. i didnt feel like the owner really was warm to us, which was contrary to other campers feedback. there were a couple of small dogs which lost it from time to time. i took the kids fishing one night and returned at 11pm, tried to be quiet but they went off which i felt gulity about as we would have prefered to be less intrusive.

Mixed experience. Amenities are great! Showers and toilets incredibly clean. Couldn't ask for better. Location close to blueys shops / beach. Again, couldn't ask for more. Jodie is a tough cookie. Not very hospitable and quite abrasive. Didn't make the crew feel very welcome.

It was an idyllic spot and the perfect blend of beach and bush. The site was nice and quiet and relaxing amongst the palm trees and yet only a 2 min stroll to the cafes and beach at Blueys. The shower and toilets had their own rustic charm and were spotlessly clean. And Jodie was a delight - so friendly and accommodating. We'll definitely be coming back again soon! Loved it!

Love Bluey’s beach. Jodie’s place is amazing. Great location not far from shops and the beach. Hot shower, cold shower & toilets are cleaner than some motels & hotels! Bins nearby also. Jodie’s a great host too & always maintaining the property. Can’t wait to come back to Strawberry’s Paddock!

We had a great time at Strawberry Paddock. Great location and easy walk in to Blueys. Perfect place to explore the wider areas with Foster, Seal Rocks and Myall Lakes. Camp site was nice and clean. Plenty of grass for the kids to play and shade during the day. We’ll be coming back.

When we come up this way to go camping we normally go to Forster, however, we couldn't get in to our usual spot. This was an absolutely incredible find and was exactly what we were looking for! We spent an absolutely gorgeous 3 nights at Blueys farm stay and all completely loved it. The camping spaces were lovely, shaded and flat with a cool breeze coming in through the palm forest behind, we were never too hot or uncomfortable. The toilets and showers were fantastic. Location was excellent, a short drive to the beach and nearby shops and easy to get into Forster as well. Jodie was lovely and very accommodating. 10/10 would recommend.

We loved our experience here as returning campers! Jodie was very kind and accommodating and even remembered us from last time! There is heaps of space on the property with plenty of room between camp setups so you don’t feel like you are right next to other campers. The toilets and shower are always clean. We would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a coastal getaway without the hustle and bustle feel.

Perfect spot for camping in blueys. Walking distance away from the shops in the main part of town and the beach. Really nice showers and toilets and a nice spacious campground. We were a group of 9 and Jodie was super accommodating making sure we had our own stretch of campsite away from other campers so we weren’t too noisy for everyone else staying there. Jodie is a an absolute legend and I’ll definitely be back staying here and will recommend any of my mates to stay here as well
