Luckystars Sanctuary

Not what we expected. It would've been nice if there was something or someone to tell us what the story is with the animals. Only one toilet/shower cubicle and it wasn't clean. There wasn't any shops near by for groceries or walking tracks so not much to do and although its in the middle of nowhere the main road is close enough to hear it from inside the caravan. Especially at night.

Camping on the farm.

Met Clint upon arrival he is a great guy easy to talk to and very freindly. The site was amazing great view on top of a hill. Clint provided some fire wood however we also brought good slabs of fire wood and the fire lasted us all night. Unfortunately we didnt get to feed the animals as we arrived after feeding and it was raining in the morning but look forward to next time. Access is very easy and Clint has put down road base so no worries about wet weather access. Overall very good

Incredible place to stay! inspiring

I loved camping with my 4 kids at Luckystars Sanctuary. It was truly an incredible experience. They rescue race horses, cows, sheep, cats, alpacas, goats chickens, and wait for it….pigeons! What an incredible place and we can’t wait to go back again

We initially booked Jurassic Park North but were told the site was muddy from the rain so we were moved to Cookie the sheep - West Site. This site was easy to access and we can see horses, sheep's and Lama from the site. It has amazing view of the property and has a fire pit. The kids were so happy to attend the animals feeding session and learned so much from it. We were blessed with amazing weather and nights full of stars.

We stayed for one night with our motorhome. We did the 3 PM feeding tour and it was fantastic. The volunteers did an incredible job explaining everything to us, and we were able to pet every single animal! The kids absolutely loved it.

Exceptional Stay

This place is amazing! Clint and the team were super welcoming and we joined the feeding tour at 3pm which was super interesting hearing were all the animals were rescued from! Honestly the highlight of our trip and love what they do here! Plus the campsite is in a great location, and the campfire at night looking at the stars was incredible! Would highly recommend this place to anyone!

What an amazing trip! We stayed on the Cookie site and so pleased we did. The highlight was sharing our campfire with the friendliest cows we have ever met. Clint and the team were incredible and provided us with a feeding tour. They are doing a fantastic job looking after the animals. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay at Lucky Stars Sanctuary. All the animals were very friendly and we were based in the area that many cows were able to come and say hi. Clint and the Lucky Stars team were amazing as well, giving us suggestions for the local area, and brought us on a feeding tour where we could get up close to the animals whilst learning a bit about how they got there and what life would look like for them outside the sanctuary. We thank the team for our stay and plan to return.

We recently stayed at this Hipcamp and it struck a really nice balance between feeling off-grid and still being comfortable. The site itself was well maintained, with plenty of space and a thoughtful layout that gave a sense of privacy. One of the standout features is that the property is also an animal sanctuary, which adds a really special dimension to the stay. There are opportunities to interact with the animals, and it’s clear they’re well cared for. Spending time with them made the experience feel more meaningful and memorable, especially if you enjoy being around animals. The setting overall is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for slowing down. Whether it was mornings with a coffee taking in the view or evenings by the fire, it felt like a proper reset. The host was friendly and responsive without being intrusive, which made the whole experience smooth and relaxed.

We enjoyed our stay at Lucky Stars Sanctuary and would recommend this spot. Check in was easy, the site was flat with electric hookup. It was dark and quiet at night time. The sheep and geese roam in the area which was nice and in the morning Clint told us more about the sanctuary whilst feeding the animals. Clint is doing an amazing job helping all of the animals and you can see he truly cares. By visiting this camperspot you are helping the sanctuary directly as the money goes back to the animals. 10/10 spot would recommend!

There were so many animals here and we went for a feeding round in the morning and we got to play with so many cats! They were okay with a late check in which was great for us as we arrived around 8pm, there were other people camping there at the same time, but they were so far we only saw them in the morning

Clint and the team at Luckystars were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We had an isolated and beautiful view from Cookie - perfect for a fire, marshmellows and stargazing. The kids LOVED feeding and making friends with the animals and we were all pleasantly surprised when the cows came right up to say hello and explore our set up. I wish we lived closer so we could visit frequently. Places like this are a great reminder of the good in humanity!

We stayed on the Jurassic park camp ground. Its a beautiful site with plenty of space and no other campers close apart from the friendly cows. Clint who runs the place is very friendly and accommodating. Id recommend this for anyone looking who is comfortable around animals and enjoys the idea of staying on a farm.

Lovely long weekend stay

We had a wonderful long weekend at Lucky Stars Sanctuary. Clint and the team were all accommodating and lovely. Our two kids loved helping feed the animals and petting them at every chance they got. Friendly faces everywhere and we even had a camp fire under the stars. Thanks again Clint and we will be back soon.

Breathtaking

My partner and I visited the farm for a few days and fell in love with it immediately. The nature, the farm itself, and the campsite were simply wonderful. Clint took us under his wing, answered every question, knew every story about the animals, and explained the topic of "being and becoming vegan." You can tell how much he loves each and every animal and how each one is like family to him. And we, too, were welcomed into the family for those few days. Thank you for this truly memorable time.
