Peaceful Pond is our 10-acre property in bushland, just 15 minutes from the village of Karuah, NSW. The pond has an island, reached via a floating bridge. Enjoy the tranquility of listening to the abundant birdlife, or swim in the cool, clear water, among the waterlilies. If you prefer more activity you can paddle a kayak or go for a bush walk. There are pushbikes available to ride through the bush tracks to the river, if you feel energetic. You may see wallabies and kangaroos, goannas, and even echidnas. The dark night skies are ablaze with stars for you to enjoy. Tim and Vicki will welcome you with some fresh eggs for your breakfast, and give you access to drinking water from their rainwater tank. We offer several camping sites tucked around the property. All for self-contained campers, with no access to power or running water, so campers must have their own toilet. Fires are permitted in firepits provided when weather and fire ratings allow. Firewood is provided. Pets are welcome, as long as they are on a lead or under close control, to ensure the safety of the wildlife. Relax, unwind, and listen to the sounds of nature.

We just spent 3 nights on this amazing hipcamp! Vicky and Tim are beautiful people and made us feel so welcome. Our kids loved it and we would definetly go back! Actually, we can’t wait to go back!

Enjoyed our time here! Tim greeted us when we arrived with fresh eggs and let us know there was firewood provided, all ready to go next to our site. We loved that you can grab a kayak and have a paddle around the dam. It was a nice peaceful site with lots of bird sounds! If you are coming with an extra large big rig I’d recommend the pond site over the gate site.

On the pond is on point!!!
We had the stunning Pond side site. Was a nice level grassy place to set up. Lots of room. So tranquil n the outlooks amazing. The kids enjoyed playing in the pond. On the island. & fishing Lots to do is suck a beautiful setting. Tim & his Mum were awesome people. Friendly & help enough. But not intrusive at all. We will definitely return

We had an awesome time at Tim's beautiful property. We were greeted at the gate with a half dozen fresh eggs and directed to the gorgeous pond site for the night. A wheelbarrow of firewood was provided and a fire ring. There was a fun little draw bridge and a tree house on the other side. Despite being close to the house we didn't feel like we were right next to the hosts, nor did it feel like it wasn't private. Would highly recommend this site!! Especially considering how great value it was too!

Lovely overnight stop. We were greeted by Vicky and Tim upon arrival. We were offered some free range eggs which was lovely. Watched the sun go down and the stars come out by the fire. Our stay was very relaxing and we would recommend a stay here
