This was by far our favourite stay in NSW. Louise and her husband were extremely welcoming and kind, the property was just breathtaking by the water. Had heaps of fun feeding the animals in the morning as well. Toilets were extremely neat and tidy.

Honestly, I couldn’t fault anything location was so close to Port Macquarie by ferry which added to the stay,. The friendly owners, My hubby fished off the jetty, we stroll around the properties seeing all the animals. I would highly recommend great stay.

Such a wonderful experience at the farm stay! We were so lucky to stay for a couple of nights, and joined for the animal feeding each morning. The kids(and us) loved cuddling some of the animals and checking for eggs. Louise was a wonderful host and we felt very welcome to explore the property, use the playground and jetty, as well as visit the animals to say hello throughout the day!

Amazing place. Very quiet, on the water. Can fish, canoe or just sit and enjoy the view. Enjoyed the ferry across to Riverside Farm Stay, you will need to do this each time to access Port Macquarie. Farm animals fun to watch, games room and pool available to guests. Enjoyable and relaxed.

What a fantastic spot right on the river.
Geoff and Louise were wonderful hosts.
Their property is beautiful and so well looked after. We fished, fed the animals, and enjoyed a swim in the pool — such a relaxing and family-friendly spot. Highly recommend! Can’t wait to come back.

My partner and I stayed at Riverside Farm for 2 nights, what an excellent place to stay. We found it to be very relaxing, feeding the farm animals, watching the young goats play around was entertaining.
Louise and Geoff were fantastic hosts, nothing was a problem for them both, happy to answer any questions we had. I recommend the coffee, they made coffee for us both mornings and it was great. We hired 2 kayaks from them and explored the river. We will be definitely going back there to stay again.
You do have to pay for the ferry ride across the river which is part of the adventure, we chose to stay at the farm and enjoy the farm stay with no need to go into Port Macquarie.
Highly recommend the farm.

We chose to come here on the spare of the moment and we absolutely made the right decsion! These guys were such special hosts and even though we had only booked a tent sight ... The facilities we could use were great! There was a top of the range games room and BBQ are that we made full use of! PLEASE CHOOSE TO STAY HERE! 😊

Such a lovely campsite and hobby farm area. We had so much fun and felt very well looked after. We really enjoyed sitting around the communal campfire and cooking at the very qell equipped camp kitchen and then had a wonderful time seeing the animals in the morning as well as seeing dolphins from the dock just steps away from the site.

This site was the highlight of our three weeks from Melbourne to Queensland. A beautiful location with more activities than we could enjoy in the two nights we stayed. Thoughtful and friendly hosts. We absolutely hope to return. Highly recommended

10/10, property was amazing. Easy to find, amazing hosts, clean wash room and the animals were a nice bonus.
Would recommend taking the ferry as the dirt road is quite bumpy and there is an impassable section due to flooding.

We had a fantastic 3 nights at Riverside Farmstay. The property is lovely and peaceful right next to the river with access to power and water, clean toilets, pool and private jetty.
The camp Kitchen is an awesome space with wood fired pizza oven and large indoor bar area and pool table. Our boys had the best time feeding the animals each morning, playing on the flying fox and hanging out with Jeff and Lou’s grandkids.
Having been on the road for a year now, the stand out places to stay for us are those with the personal touch where we are made to feel welcome and at home and this is one of those unique places. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend

Thank you to Lou and her family for an incredible stay! We enjoyed the man’s cave at night with pool, then cooked using their bbq which was handy and washing up facility. Toilets were super clean, but the highlight for us was Lou’s friendly nature and showing us around her farm and meeting all the animals. We especially loved Vegemite and peanut butter. Thank you for a great stay, we will be back!

We had a lovely time here and Louise was so easy to communicate with. The land was clean and well maintained and the animals were beautiful and definitely a fun extra for our daughter. I think the things not mentioned that we were a little surprised by were the $8 each way ferry to get to and from the property and the photos that advertise this place. Whilst we understood there was a ferry to get there, the extra cost was never mentioned in any communications or review. We also found the photos beautiful but slightly misleading, as while there is a beautiful jetty and picnic table, these are not next to or within view of the camp spot. The camp spot is actually immediately behind a double shed which brings with it a different feeling when you’re there.

If I could leave a 6 star review I would.
Our hosts made us feel right at home from the minute we got there. We wont hesitate on rebooking the next time we are in Port Macquarie

We had a great time. The owners are great and have gone to a lot of effort with the place. Our kids loved feeding and interacting with the animals. The place is set up really well for kids. We will definitely look to come back sometime.

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. Soft grass to camp on and easy access to water and power at each site. The undercover camp kitchen/games room was very handy during the downpours!

We absolutely loved our farm stay! They have truely done a fantastic Job creating this beautiful place. Thought of everything.. although I’d love if there was a shower for campers.. it is the own thing I could “fault”.
The kids had a ball and the hosts were extremely welcoming!! We will Be back!!

Great little spot of the beaten track. The 40k dirt road in was a bit unexpected but added to our journey the way out was allot easier via settlement point. Great to see the animals and great to have a welcome. Just a shame no showers but otherwise totally recommend.

A very family friendly farm. Children would enjoy the animals. It was quiet and peaceful in amongst the trees and next to the water with clean loos. I would stay there again.

This is a fantastic place to stay. The hosts are lovely and accommodating. Lots to do for all - games room for kids and adults, flying fox and lots of gorgeous animals. Very clean facilities, bathrooms etc. powered sites if needed. Easy to get to from the ferry. Best Hipcamp so far for us!

Such an amazing place to stay, family run buisness. Lovely games room and bbq area to chill in, huge grounds in a stunning area. Geoff and Louise was so helpful to us during our stay.
