Kids will love the farm tour (4pm to 5pm daily) for the feeding of pigs, chickens, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks available for free. Gorgeous property situated in the valley looking up to Flat Rock mountain escarpment. This is a great place to pull in on your way to Sydney or QLD or to use as a base to explore this beautiful area. (Note water isn’t very deep) . Local sights include Taree and Wingham 30min. The villages of Lansdowne, Coopernook, Harrington, Crowdy Head all no more than 30 min drive away. Stay a few days, visit quaint country towns, lookouts, waterfalls, beaches and so much more. This site looks up to amazing escapements views. (Flat rock lookout) There is only 1 site available at this stage however more will become available soon. Ground can be damp if it’s been raining, we recommend you bring levelling blocks just in case. There is plenty of room to move around. Our Property offers a peaceful, quiet and calm place to relax and unwind. There are fenced in cows on property. Please leave gates how you find them. Some fences are electric. Children are welcome but must be fully supervised at all times. Pets welcome but must be on a lead at all times, photo of pets must be supplied at time of booking. Pets to be kept inside at night. (Please pick up after them) We are a super friendly family of 3 with pets of our own. We are also pretty knowledgeable of the areas and can recommend things to do and places to visit. At certain times there will be fruit grown on the property available for purchase. Please note that there are no food/ drink shops close by (30min away) please bring all supplies with you. You must have your own toilet. Property can flood, you will need to move to higher ground on property if flood warnings have been announced. Bush walking allowed upon request. If you want to avoid the crowds our property is only 10 minutes drive to great local surf and fishing beaches at Crescent Head. There is an abundance of bird life, the odd kangaroos and wallabies, and other wildlife. There is a melaleuca forest that children are welcome to play in and build a cubby house, and 2 pretty little dams to catch yabbies, and for dogs to enjoy a swim. The property where camping is provided is approx 20 acres with a limit of 10 groups so you can find your own little piece of paradise. There is plenty of fire wood for you to collect on the property on your way in. Please help yourself to any fallen timber for firewood but please do not cut any standing trees down. When checking out, ensure you properly extinguish fires and return any unused firewood to the bush. Dogs are welcome to be here off leash as long as they are well socialised and reasonably obedient. There is large areas for them to run freely and dams to swim in. It is accessible via a 2WD dirt road, even with a little wet weather. If rainfall is extreme we recommend 4wd's. The property is completely off grid so we have a 'leave it as you found it' approach. This means you will need a camp toilet, and to take all of your rubbish with you. We are a rural property so do not have rubbish collection services. (Fees apply for any left behind rubbish). Happy camping!

Both sites are fenced so your dogs can be off-leash while inside the campsite (on-leash at all other times). Bush walk, bird watch or bring your kayak to paddle in the dam. You’ll feel like you’re miles away from it all, but it’s only a few minutes’ drive to dog-friendly beaches (Diamond Beach and Black Head Beach), cafes, a pub and a supermarket. Each site has a fire pit and free firewood is supplied. There’s also a paved undercover area with a rainwater tank and a table and chairs to seat 6-8 people comfortably. We’ve got you covered with the creature comforts: an amenities building including 1 hot shower, 1 flushing toilet, sink, washing machine and power points for charging your phone. You’re welcome to stroll through the property, where you’ll see fallow deer, sheep, wallabies, and a variety of bird life. The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era. Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops. A day trip to the Comboyne plateu is a rewarding experience and enhanced by enjoying a meal at the magnificant Byabarra Cafe on your way through. Whilst the meals equall those of any capital city restaurant, the view of the valley will take your breath away. We are not directly on the beach and do not have beach access. Racecourse Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. All you need to do is find one of our intimate sites for you to pitch a tent or pull up with the camper van. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES SO YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED AND LEAVE NO TRACE. Fires are allowed, but must be contained in an off ground fire pit brought by camper. Firewood is available to purchase from the service station in Crescent Head and you are also welcome to gather wood from the property.

You can utilise your own fire pit, strictly no glass to be burned. You can find sticks and branches along the tree lines. All rubbish is to be removed. Direct road access to the property. Just 7 minutes drive to the centre of Port Macquarie and an easy 2 minute drive from the Pacific Highway on a quiet and scenic road. Pets welcome, but please be mindful of other guests and our resident pets. Fernbank Creek Road runs along a natural ‘chain-of-ponds’ water way, wildlife include turtles, ducks, quail, red bills, tawny frogmouth, ring tail possums, sugar gliders and kangaroos to name a few. Walking distance to local winery and horse riding centre. We do our best to allow you to access our piece of paradise.

It is only a 20 minute drive to South West Rocks or Hat head and 25mins to Crescent Head. You can sit back on the bank and fish, go for a swim, canoe or enjoy some water skiing and put your boat in the river from the property itself.

Racecourse Camping

Secluded Racecourse Beach is a short drive south of Crescent Head on the mid-north coast of NSW. We have a beautiful 11 acres of coastal land where you can hear the waves as you sleep with the pristine Racecourse Beach only a 5 to 10 minute walk away. We are not directly on the beach and do not have beach access. Racecourse Beach is a great spot for surfing, fishing and swimming. All you need to do is find one of our intimate sites for you to pitch a tent or pull up with the camper van. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES SO YOU MUST BE FULLY SELF CONTAINED AND LEAVE NO TRACE. Fires are allowed, but must be contained in an off ground fire pit brought by camper. Firewood is available to purchase from the service station in Crescent Head and you are also welcome to gather wood from the property.
