Lovely spot. Very quiet. Perfect for those wanting a low-key getaway.
No services - no water or power - but the plus is that you don't have to share a busy campground.
Easy walk to the river.
Too far to walk to the beach, but a short drive back to town/main road.

Oats Paddock
The campsite is a nice big paddock. There were big swells on the beach that we could hear at night.
We did a walk down to the lake. There were lots of mosquitoes so spray up.
The proximity to the drive on beach was very good. Actually, the place is very close to everything that you may need. We put our Kayaks in the water at the sailing club where we could drive right down to the beach to unload. Lots of places to walk as well especially up to the headland.
we will definitely be back. The hosts were very nice and easy going.

It was lovely and quiet. It is great that they do not pack the grounds so you feel secluded even with others around. Great location to beach, bakery, coffee shop and coastal walks.

You’re close to everything in the area but will need a car. You are surrounded by beautiful bushland with the distant sound of the ocean. Lots of room with no campers nearby.

No atmosphere as is just a padlock below large solar panels no trees or views. Very soggy ground and would need 4wd to access. We decided to forfeit our camping fee and stay elsewhere

Had a very relaxing time. Jordi & David were great hosts, very accommodating & couldn’t have been more helpful.
Directions were easy to follow & communication made arrival late at night easy to find.
Would stay again.

We loved our stay at Wild hope farm. Owners were so welcoming and friendly. Our campsite was perfect. Lots of privacy. Beautiful drive into camp. Saw lots of kangaroos (wallabies). Also dog friendly. Only a short drive to the beach and Cafes. Definitely worth a visit.

Oats Paddock
Oats paddock is exactly what it says it is. An Oats paddock on the side of a hill.
Not super level, but workable if you have levelling ramps, our annexe walls just barely touched the ground. What grass/oats were there was quite long, maybe 20cm in places and the ground uneven. The access track to the top of the paddock was great, but once you turn off into the paddock it’s walking pace only - we caught a bad bump and I’m sure one of our dogs got air!
All that said, it’s located opposite a 4WD beach, close to everything in the area, there’s tonnes of bird life and the property hosts a big wallaby population so really was a nice spot to stay. We will likely stay here again.

A green, open, sloped paddock surrounded by trees.
Very private.
We stayed overnight arriving at dusk, and left early. So we didn't explore.
Absolutely no traffic noise. Just beautiful bush sounds, with the ocean noise in the distance.

Beautiful and secluded. We had the place to ourselves. This property is well taken care of and the owners are lovely. Close to the beach and lake. On our arrival we saw so many beautiful kangaroos which the kids loved. And at night pure peace with the stars. We had a short stay but we wished we had more time to spend there.

Lovely secluded spot just out of town for a peaceful camp. Beautiful locations within a short drive away.
Do keep in mind it is a paddock so you won't find perfect level manicured sites. That being said there are some level sections and with the view from the top of the hill it is a stunning place to set up.
Would recommend if you were after more privacy and pet and child friendly environment. Perfect for our stay.

Excellent spot. Great beach fishing and beach 4wding nearby. Excellent host. Instructions and communication were great and easy to follow.
Camp ground was lovely and green and even with 50+mm of rain, drained well and was great underfoot.
Town and shops only 20 minutes away.
Will definetly stay again

Great location. Close to so many small townships right on the waterways!! Lovely open grassed area with ample space. Short drive to superb lake. Absolutely amazing hosts. Jordi made the effort to drive to each campsite with two small boys (adorable) and advised her hubby to visit us as we were having issues with our solar. So friendly.. so helpful!!. To top it off jordi did a drive by the morning we left to say goodbye. Thanks guys so much... and if you're ever near bundaberg visit us at mon repos pines and we'll show you our piece of paradise.
