Escape to a peaceful, private farm camping experience on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Located near Port Macquarie and just six minutes from the Pacific Highway, Misty Creek Farm offers exclusive creekside camping surrounded by bushland and farmland. Our spacious grassed campsite sits beside a creek, surrounded by trees for a secluded feel. We welcome only one booking at a time, giving you complete privacy and plenty of space to relax and unwind. Wake to birdsong, and spend your days enjoying the private creek frontage. Cool off in the natural swimming hole, and feed our friendly Scottish Highlander cattle and pygmy goats. Keep an eye out for platypus in the creek, along with abundant birdlife. As the sun sets, relax next to the campfire and enjoy a sky full of stars. This is a simple off-grid camping experience with no power or water connected to the campsite. A private bathroom with a toilet, hot shower and hand basin is available for guests, located approximately 250 metres from the campsite via a flat, easy gravel driveway. Seasonal fruit, vegetables, fresh eggs and firewood are available to purchase when available. Although you'll feel a world away, local conveniences are close by. Johns River has a café, tavern and petrol station just minutes away. Woolworths is approximately 18 minutes away, while Taree and Port Macquarie are both around 30 minutes away. Access to the property includes approximately 2.7 km of gravel road with two creek crossings (causeways), adding to the authentic rural farm experience. ***As this is an off-grid campsite, please bring your own drinking water and power, and take all rubbish with you.The campsite is a spacious, grassed area of approximately one acre, bordered by Jerrys Creek and surrounded by trees for a secluded feel.
