Relaxing farm stay

This was the perfect place for a mini break. The hosts Aaron and Shannon were very welcoming. The property is lovely and the campsite was perfect for our tent but there is also plenty of space for a caravan or anyone with a family. Having the campsite to ourselves was a selling point for us. The sound of the creek was relaxing. Meeting the animals was great. There was plenty of fire wood included and a fire pit. This was such a great inclusion. Complete with lighter and fire starters.
Large table and chairs is located at the campsite. Just a short walk past the animals (another opportunity to have a little pat and say hi) and you have the bathroom. Complete with nice warm shower with great water pressure. This was welcomed after a night in front of the fire. The private bathroom has nice little touches like body wash. Which shows the hosts really want your stay to be enjoyable.
The camp site itself had nice amount of shade throughout most parts of the day. This also sheltered us from a few sun showers we had during our visit.
I highly recommend this camp and we will be going back for sure. Next time bringing the grandkids.
We took home some farm fresh eggs, spinach and lettuce. Bonus 😊

Awesome private place to stay, great hosts, amazing campsite with fireplace and wood, lots of room, proper full bathroom with hot showers. Animals to see, goats chickens and cows. Sounds of water in the creek to fall asleep to, well be back! Sorry I only took night time photos.

What a little piece of paradise Misty Creek Farm Stay is, I wish we could stay longer. The campsite is spacious and private with a firepit, table and chairs, a swing and kayaks. A small creek surrounds the campsite with the friendly little goats and highland cows a short walk away. I’m pretty sure “nature sleep sounds” were recorded here, it’s absolute bliss. The bathroom is beautifully kept with a flushing toilet and private shower a few minutes walk away behind the garage separate to the main house. Shannon and Aaron were the perfect hosts, we felt so welcomed onto their gorgeous farm.

This place was amazing! Shannon and Aaron were great hosts! It was so beautiful, quiet and the kids loved feeding the animals! Billie was a highlight of the stay, the kids loved patting her and giving her cuddles. It’s great that only one group is camping at a time. It was really great to have it all to ourselves. We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us!

Aaron and Shannon were absolutely fantastic hosts. Both were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.
The property is beautiful, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The amenities were excellent, and it’s clear they’ve put a lot of thought and effort into making sure guests have everything they need.
The kids had an absolute ball feeding and spending time with the goats, chickens and cows. It was definitely a highlight of the trip!
Such a fantastic spot for families, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thanks again, Aaron and Shannon, for making our stay so enjoyable. We’d happily come back!

If you’re looking for a green and peaceful campsite with an amazing hot shower and private toilet and no other campers this is for you. Shannon and Arron are lovely hosts who are happy for a chat or leave you to your own devices, lots of extras and the animals on the property are an added bonus. Nice walks over the property or just relax with a book or dip in the creek when it’s warmer. The fire pit with lots of firewood was well used. We will be back to see. Fergus and Hamish (highland cows) and the goats and chooks

As soon as we arrived at our campsite at Misty Creek we felt right at home. The owners were there to greet us and the site was absolutely idyllic. Creekside, shady trees, swimming holes and surrounded by birdlife, cute shaggy cows and goats. We bought some farm eggs which were delicious. Chilling around the fire near the bubbling creek with a cuppa was the best start of our day. Highly recommend.

This is our most favourite hip camp! We had the site all to ourselves, site has a swing, a table, a fire pit and fire wood provided which created a very warm, welcoming and private campsite.
Our daughter absolutely loved feeding the animals. We bought fresh eggs from Shannon Aaron which are delicious and fresh.

Prefect farm stay!

An absolutely lovely place to stay - almost want to keep it secret so that I’ll be available every time we drive past!
Perfect base to explore the Port Macquarie region. Shannon and Aaron are great hosts, providing everything we needed. Seeing and feeding the animals was a treat for the kids.
Will hopefully be back again when we’re traveling that way next time.

We stayed two nights at Misty Creek Farm and loved it! The hosts, Shannon and Aaron were friendly and accommodating, they respected our privacy at the camp site but were also super happy to have a chat and show us around their beautiful farm when they spotted us wondering around. We got to meet, feed and pet their highland cows and goats, even got followed by the chickens on a few occasions when they thought we might have a chicken friendly snack. The provided bathroom was clean, well kept and a hot shower made all the difference! The camp site itself was large and quite (minus the nearby cows and goats of course but I wouldn’t have it any other way). Plenty of room to spread out, run around or play games with the creek babbling near by. Heaps of firewood provided as well as a fire pit, bench, table and swing! The whole experience was perfect and we will be back.

We enjoyed our stay at Misty Creek Farm! It was a beautiful quiet spot with a little creek and a nice shaded area. The site has a large grass area with plenty of room to set up camp and enjoy the fire or lunch under the trees. We will definitely be back! Great spot!

My partner and I had the privilege of staying the night here. The owner was super welcoming and accommodating, showed us around and even let us feed the animals! Very peacful spot listening to the creek we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. Definitely will be coming back here and highly recommend their eggs! 🐮🌾🐓🌳
