Easy off grid camping in paradise

Such a pleasant serene space to stay. Fish eat and play ! Loads of personal space and such a pretty outook on the river ! Particularly liked the fire pit option with easy access to fishing.

Beautiful well maintained property that feels a million miles from anything but is a short drive to Port Macquarie making it perfect for getting the best of both worlds. The owners were kind enough to allow our kids to hand feed the calf which was a nice way to finish off the trip. Will definitely stay again highly recommended.

Spacious, grassy, peaceful, right on the river and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more. It's a shame we live 10hrs away, otherwise it would be a regular spot for us. We hope to come back again one day.

Wow what a spot!! The hosts were lovely but left us to enjoy the space. We relaxed and fished. Ate the beautiful mud crabs that we caught and watched dolphins and sea eagles as well as many other birds going about their day!! Magical!! We will be back

Perfect caravan camping spot

We loved the grassy campground, which was right on the edge of the river and provided us with the perfect spot to pull the caravan up and just relax, and enjoy the view whilst enjoying the open fire of a night.

Awesome site! A dog friendly and very private site that is extremely well maintained in a beautiful location fronting the river. Sole use of the adjacent camp kitchen facilities for Site 1 is well worth the extra $$ for this site; with an undercover area, gas bbq, fire pit with cooking grates provided, and fresh water tank/tap/sink. We will definitely be returning to Site 1 Little Rawdon Island Camp.

Best camp site complete with hut water fire pit bbg right on the water Nicely mowed and well maintained Peace and quiet tranquility. Access to camp dirt road maintained by council was a bit corrugated but easily accessed Swimming not recommended full of bull sharks great spot Will be booking again!! Good fishing!!

What a great place. Plenty of space, lovely grass, plenty of firewood for you to gather, and very quiet along the river. Only 25Min to Port Macquarie. Great cafe (Abundance Cafe and nursary) nearby.

6. Secluded river bush camp (4WD)

Nice little spot to pull up after a run on the oxley highway an just hear the river run. Star gazing might be nice but didn't have the weather this time sadly.

Great fishing, quiet and relaxing

We loved our stay at Little Rawdon Island property, we were at site 1 with the private use of the camp shed/kitchen, which was great on the rainy drizzly days, you have somewhere dry to sit, a bbq to cook, sink to wash up and a cozy firepit to use, site was lovely green grass and fairly flat, fishing was awesome straight from the riverbank at site, hubby caught a few bream, flathead and 3 mudcrabs, we had a very relaxing time we will be back thanks Scott and Marg

Relaxing Catchup By The River

Fourth time visiting Little Rawdon Island and we love it more every time we come. This time we visited with another 2 couples who loved it just as much as we did. Crabbing, lazy afternoons playing Uno by the river watching the dolphins swim past. Highly recommend this camp if you want to chill out and escape the rat race.

Always a great stay. Unfortunately the weather and the fish weren’t overly friendly this time but we love our stay there. Always kept tidy. Great for a campfire on Site 1 no matter what the weather is thanks to the camp kitchen. Thanks Scott for keeping it all neat and tidy

Scott, Margaret and Barry were so kind and thoughtful, but above all so understanding in our time of stress. We can't thank them all enough for there help. We are definitely going back for a longer stay, but also looking forward to staying at the next event.

Beautiful grassy area to set-up right on the river but unfortunately no good for swimming. Big roomy sites and close to Port Mac & Wauchope. Great spot.
