Flat, peaceful campground located 20 minutes from Port Macquarie and 15 minutes from Wauchope. A private jetty, boat ramp, and open pasture are available to play and camp. Crab pots, a kayak, and a fire pit are provided, with plenty of firewood available throughout the bush for collection. Enjoy great fishing and plenty of mud crabs. A large undercover area is available if required.Only one campsite available where there is plenty of space all to yourself. Boat ramp and jetty on the creek with access to the Hastings river for boaties. Pets allowed for responsible owners, as there is lots of wildlife in the area. No power or toilets available on site. Crab pots and kayaks available for use.

Awesome full moon fishing camp! Space, quiet and your private jetty what mot could you want. Greay fullmoon fishing caught mulloway, flatly and bull shark. Young pup also had a ball. Thanks definitely back again on next days off just hope it ain't booked out.

Had a fantastic few nights at Balyngara Downs. The campsite is peaceful, private, and beautifully maintained, right on the banks of Balyngara Creek. With only the jetty, creek and paddocks around, it was the perfect place to relax. As a bonus, I landed one of the biggest flathead I've ever caught!

Excellent camp spot. You have the whole place to yourself, jetty to fish and crab from, they have crab pots around that you can use but remember to take bait for them. Area was tidy and fire pit allowed and trust me you need them, just need to find your own wood or bring some with you. Overall loved our stay and will do it again for sure. Grant

We had a great stay here at Balyngara Downs campground,quiet,spacious,pet friendly, and most importantly had the whole place to ourselves,also great fishing by the creek. Will definitely be back again soon,cheers

Secluded, secure quiet spot, plenty of room , flat ground to set up and kick a ball play cricket ect . Right on the river to fish swim and kayak. Perfect location for couples or families. Loved it !!! only 20 minutes to Port and a little shop just down the road for supplies. Great to bring your dog or cat. Have a campfire and just relax

We had a great time relaxing by the creek, the campsite is nice and flat. Plenty of space for the kids to play and fishing only 10m from the van.
