We are not permitting people to set up in the dark, it is totally black, no lighting in wilderness zone and far too difficult to locate your site, and it disturbs other campers. 2. BEFORE YOU ARRIVE PHONES: Phone reception is good, there is a Telstra exchange on the property. ROADS: Roads around the sites are unsealed, but most normal cars and the average SUV handle it okay. The road down into the Megalong Valley is tar sealed, very scenic but winding. ICE: Bring your own ice WOOD: Timber for fires can be purchased at reception. We are an environmental biodiversity precinct so don’t permit damage to vegetation. FIRES: Plenty of existing fire spots SHOPS: The township of Blackheath is 15klm away up on the Gt Western Hwy, none in the Valley SHADE: Plenty of shady areas WATER: We are on town water TOILETS there are 3 men's and 3 women's, plus 8 at reception, plus 3 in pioneer and 3 in corner paddock SHOWERS: 3 gas hot water showers in men's, 3 in women's, plus 2 in Lodge NOISE: Shutdown time for music is 10pm - no exceptions! but you can still enjoy the fires - quietly. There are plenty of activities to try around town, from bushwalking, exploring the Rail Trail in Murwillumbah and downhill mountain biking at the Uki Mountain Bike Park (Less then 8Km from our property). The property is just 5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. Canoelands Orchard Camping and Fruit Picking, is located just 1 hour from Sydney's CBD. The property is 81 acres in total with a small shop and cafe onsite. We offer pick your own fruit so are open to the public daily (closed on occasion). Trading hours can be viewed at www.bookingscanoeladns.com. We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

Kids will love the farm tour (4.30pm to 5.30pm daily) for the feeding of chickens, ducks, bunny rabbits, horse, donkeys, sheep and goats. It's an excellent area for mountain bike riding as well! Kayaks available for free. Don't have a caravan, we have partnered up with Wrighty's Caravan Hire and Repairs. linktr.ee/wrightyscaravans. They offer family caravans delivered, setup ready for you to enjoy. Pets allowed but you must have on lead when walking around the property near cattle. Note a maximum of 2 dogs per camp site. Rules: 1. For the piece and quiet of other campers all check-ins must be before 4.30pm during the colder months. Check ins after 7pm may be turned away in busy times. 2. No Fireworks - this is very unsettling for our livestock 3. 9pm quiet time. 4. No drones in the camping area, for the privacy of other campers 5. Generators are allowed for short period of time but not permitted after 8pm. 6. Dogs on leads when walking around the farm - Limit of 2 dogs per camp site. East Creswick Farm is a Tea Tree farm located halfway between Byron Bay and Brunswick Heads, with Mullumbimby just down the road. Very easily accessed, it includes large areas of flat paddock as well as secluded spots up on a hilled area surrounded by native and plantation trees. We are just getting started and intend to improve the property over time. We hope the price and flexibility reflect the current state of the land, and we are always aiming to improve the amenities as we go. The property is best described as central, easy, and affordable rather than pristine and tranquil. It is a working farm where you may see tractors from time to time, and while it is "rough around the edges," it is clean and functional. Please note that we border the highway, so depending on where you are on the property, there is some road noise. Except for during Blues Fest, there are no toilets on-site, so you will need to be fully self-sufficient. During periods of heavy rain, the ground in some areas can become boggy, so we may need to limit space on the flat paddocks and have you stay up on the hill. Generally, the site is 2WD accessible. We aim to be super flexible, so please reach out with any requests; we just ask that you do the right thing regarding taking rubbish and toilet litter with you. Doggos are always welcome because doggos are the best.

We are a farm forestry property located in the middle of the north shore of Port Stephens. Two hours north of Hornsby. 1 hour north of Newcastle. 2 mins to Pindimar beach, 9 minutes to Coles and bottle shop, 11 minutes to surf beach Bennett Beach 12 minutes to Jimmy's Beach. Pets are welcome please pick up after them. All dogs from now on must be on a leash at all times as you cannot predict what other campers's dog is going to be like. Any dog on the NSW dangerous dogs list is absolutely not welcome here. Free use of fire pits. 1st wheelbarrow of firewood is free. After that $15 for 20kg bag. Hot showers and decent toilets, Good mobile phone signal. Two Communal Fridges .There is lots of space for campers. We have two sites with shade, the rest without. We suggest you bring a decent quality gazebo or equivalent. If you choose a non-shady site and then it's sunny, it is beyond our control. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people, the check in time is between midday and sunset. If you arrive after sunset make sure you have a torch. If in doubt call. 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a hill. we are creating more level campsites. Shade trees are being planted. Every campsite is right on the water all nice and flat, very well maintained property. They have kyacks and crab pots to use there as well as a boat ramp! Very easy to get to, very close to urunga for food ect. The owners were amazing. we will be back again.

Loved our stay at the farm and would highly recommend. From Jamie's warm welcome and feeding the cows to the great firewood hut, Corinne and Jamie have done a lovely job setting up their camping site along the river. Big sites with individual fire pits and plenty of space to spread out. Some of the other campers caught some great bream and flathead as well as mudcrabs. Definitely recommend The Farm. Really convenient back to Urunga for supplies and a pub meal too.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay at “the farm” Beautiful grassy sites right on the river bank. There was fire pits ready to use and a plentiful supply of cut / split wood available if you need it. The camp is within a few minutes to Urunga and a short drive to plenty of places to day trip We were there to chill and relax and we were not disappointed. Calm and serene. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. The sites are generous. And plenty of space to entertain kids. Kayaks and life vests were provided if you want a paddle in the river and a great little jetty. Great camp and we will definitely recommend it

Where to go

The Blue Mountains

Lace up your boots for one of Australia's best bushwalking destinations. The ridge of mountains two hours west of Sydney by road or train is a World Heritage-listed wonderland of sandstone canyons, waterfalls, valleys, and clifftop lookouts. The national park offers remote bush campsites, or you can go for a bit more comfort in one of the region’s many caravan and holiday parks.

NSW North Coast

The coastline of northern NSW, from north of Newcastle to the Queensland border, is classic beach holiday territory. Almost every town has at least one caravan park, often with waterfront campsites, and most of the coastline is protected by national parks with fantastic camping spots and facilities. Flanked by the Great Dividing Range and World Heritage rainforests, the North Coast has Hipcampers spoilt for choice.

NSW South Coast

Every bit as wild as the North Coast, the South Coast stretches south of Sydney to the Victorian border with a string of national parks, state forests, campgrounds, and seaside towns with family-friendly holiday parks. Kangaroos and wallabies graze the camping grounds and laze on the beaches, which have some of the whitest sand in the world. Kayak the waterways, bushwalk the forests, and soak in the views from the mountaintops.

Snowy Mountains

Alpine New South Wales, also known as the Snowy Mountains, stretches from the ACT south to the Victorian border along the spine of the Great Dividing Range. Along with hundreds of camping spots, the big attraction of Kosciuszko National Park—the largest national park in NSW—is Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko. In winter, the area is a magnet for skiers, and in summer, fishing, bushwalking, and mountain biking reign supreme.

NSW Outback

The far western corner of NSW is a great introduction to the Outback, where endless red dust plains seem to stretch on forever under cloudless blue skies. Take a road trip out here and you'll see plenty of kangaroos and emus, but not many people. National parks such as Mungo, Mutawintji, and Kinchega offer superb camping spots, Aboriginal art sites, and stunning scenery.
