We had ab easy going stay at Quorragami. It was serene and relaxing. We had a short visit from Charly each day to check in. The walk through the gully with David was an adventure. Damien gave great communication. Absolutely gorgeous location. We had a tent and it went alright in the RV spot. Thanks we will be back again :)

I camped there in a rainy and wet weather and road to my campsite was slippery so my 2WD got stuck and Jaime and her sons Mitch and Bryan helped us out couple times. Thanks for that guys. They have shop and cafe on-site and the walk in the fruit trees was just an awesome experience. Definitely would recommend this.

We had the best 2 nights camping on Dave’s incredible property! There was so much to do and explore. Dave’s done an amazing job of putting up signs and maps to navigate the vast property so we felt comfortable to explore. Dave was super helpful showing us around and having firewood available to purchase which he kindly dropped off to our camp. I loved seeing the abundant wildlife on the property including an eagles nest! We were so sad to leave and we can’t wait to come back and try one of the other camp sites! Thanks a million Dave!

2 nights at Hillside Camp on Bow River

Dave has gratuitously opened his home to the public. This is much more than a farmstay, this is more like a visit to a hidden paradise. 3000 acres of pristine bushland. Loads of 4wd tracks and walking trails. Wildlife abound and rivers and creeks nestle at the bottom spectacular rivines/gullys. Every campsite has toilets and fire pits and are extremely well maintained. There are some common sense rules that will protect this spectacular place for future generations and all our sakes please follow them. We can't wait to go back and explore some more.

3 nights at Quorragami

We loved camping at Quorragami. Large grassy level campsite with potable water and lovely clean flushing bush toilets. We had a beautiful campfire each night and our fur baby loved his walks. Damien and Charley made us welcome and left us to enjoy their beautiful property. We loved the peace and quiet having the main camping area to ourselves. I am sure this place will become popular very quickly. Highly recommend

Weekend Trip to Quorragami

This is a great property, with a lovely outlook over the rural area. There is a bathroom with flushing toilets and a tap for hand washing. A few other taps exist around the sites for washing etc (noting is not drinkable - it is dam water etc). Getting there, make sure to follow the Google maps instructions which take you in via Barraba Rd, as some other nav apps will try to send you down Swan Lane (which is not the right way, and will lead you into a dead end about 10km away). Also worth nothing that the last few kms (and inside the property) is unsealed road, with a couple shallow water crossings. But once at the location, you will be happy. Nice place, dog friendly, firepit friendly, nice and quiet. Would definitely go again.

Weekend Trip to Hillside Camp on Bow River

David’s farming campsites are spectacular. The scenery and wildlife are fabulous, incredible privacy and facilities. We loved having a dip in the river (essentially a cold plunge at this time of year), spotting satellites amongst the stars at night time, and exploring the caves and river tracks during the day. The farm is set up thoughtfully, with clear signposting and maps to help navigation, while the toilets on the site were clean and are a welcome bonus. David gave out helpful tips about things to do. It was a blissful way to spend a couple of days away from screens and the internet! We’d love to come back again.

3 nights at Hillside Camp on Bow River

We had a great 3 days at Dave’s place, good campsites, clean toilets, awesome scenery and walking along the Bow river plus some fun 4wd tracks. Dave is a great host and puts a lot of effort into maintaining his property and we can highly recommend a visit.

1 night at Riverside Rest

Brilliant spot! Glenn & Zoe have created an exclusive little piece of paradise on their property on the banks of the Clarence River just outside of Yamba. There are only four caravan spots, all of them Excellent with fire pits, level with grass and very easy to cast a line straight from your campsite into the river. The property is perfectly maintained. Great if you’ve got children that want to run around and play, there is a canoe and kayak that they graciously leave for guests use, a boat ramp to launch a boat, and a jetty to fish off. Couple that with amazing sunrises and sunsets, what more could you ask for? Five star hip camp.

3 nights at Eagle Ridge Bush Retreat

This is a perfect 10/10 campsite, situated on a beautiful river with tubes available on site to float down, the cliff face is epic and you can spot rock wallabies and the fishing is good, we caught a decent cod(catched and released). Super private, gorgeous bit of land to make camp. It might be the best campsite I've seen yet, will definitely be coming back!

2 nights at Binghi Station

Amazing property! We stayed at the Gorge and got our hybrid camper (18ft total length) down at night in the dark easily enough. Definitely need a capable 4x4 with the current tracks but it’s doable. Getting out was easy during the day with rear diff locks. The Gorge is great - I’d note that if booking for multiple different groups/set ups, that there’s only one spot that’s really level. It was however perfect for just two adults and two dogs. It’s a really large space and nice to be isolated with your own swimming spot.

Located 19 km due east of the famous historical village of Tenterfield the working, cattle breeding, property "Mindoo" has recently opened its gates to campers. Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided. Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart. There is approximately 4km gravel road to get to the property. Mobile reception is patchy (telstra) you may need to get to the top of a hill for reception. Very little or no reception for other networks. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and star gazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks. We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large spaces with varying distance between sites to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space. Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If you are planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store. Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Good mobile signal for Telstra and Optus networks. Two Communal Fridges and a cold communal spa. There is lots of space for campers so you will have privacy whilst you enjoy your camping adventure. We are located on a dead end road, so very rare to have any traffic after 8pm. Good fishing. Pretty much everywhere you can wet a line. Prawns are best bait. If your dog is on the government list of restricted breeds or on the dangerous dog list please leave at home We have a gentle, well trained old German Shepherd who adores kids but after being bitten by another dog, now prefers to stay inside the house and not visit the camp sites. PLEASE NOTE: 1) We ONLY ALLOW ONE camper trailer or ONE caravan per site. No limit on number of tents. 2) IF You Have more than 3 vehicles/site please contact host before booking. 3) Depending on the weather on the day, we may have to limit the number of vehicles that can be parked adjacent to your campsite. 4) NO late night check in . If you are a group larger than two people the check in time is between midday and sunset. Do not arrive after sunset. The reason being if you are a large group turning up late, you will ruin the camping experience of other campers who got there earlier to watch the sunset and just chill. Furthermore, the sunsets are one of the reasons people come here. Every single day it is totally different. If you arrive late you have missed it.... 5) As the business name suggests (mountain) our property is on a slope. We do have several flat areas for tents , hybrids, camper vans and small caravans. Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase. There are 2 dams that can be fished on request (catch and release cod and bass)

Welcome to Aloomba Lavender Farm. We offer bush camping with powered and unpowered sites. This means you will not be placed very close to other vans unless you are friends and choose to be together. In many cases you will be able to choose where you wish to park. Not all sites are level, but you are able to site your camp/ van as you wish. There are no cement pads. There is access to toilets and hot showers. You may have to walk some distance to the amenities but the solitude, the quiet, safety and stars make all worthwhile. There is a dedicated firepit and firewood is supplied. We can supply no water other than sufficient to cook dinner. You are welcome to use some of the vegetables and herbs but not to strip the vegetable garden! If in doubt - ask. We have great coffee and Devonshire teas but we are not a cafe. However there is a great little lavender shop where you can buy our own lavender essential oil, or a cake of soap or a Baggallini Handbag. We are dog friendly! We welcome well behaved dogs. We are 20 km from Stanthorpe. You may see wildlife or cattle through the fence and an occasional vehicle going down the road. We have a sealed road all the way to our boundary and then drive through the lavender. If you visit in late November through to early December you will enjoy our lavender flowering, but the plants look very pretty all year around in neat rows. We are a commercial farm so there is the need to work to the rhythm of the lavender.

The Camel Cottage offers a luxe off-the-grid escape for couples just one hour from Sydney but feels like "miles from anywhere". The farm features a hempcrete building named 'The Stinking Rose' used for drying and curing garlic, that also acts as a big room for garlic feasts during planting (March, April and May each year). The building also houses toilet and shower facilities for guests when camping on site. On some evenings, the sky puts on a real show of golden sun rays with pink, purple and blue clouds while swallows flit across the garden beds catching moths.
