We had a great time camping at Hamilton's Hideaway. The paddock was a great spot and was nicely mown. Jaimee and her husband were great hosts too. The spot is a short drive from Harrington and crowdy beach. Also, the coopernook pub is great (kid and dog friendly.)

Very handy location close to Grants Beach and surrounds and a lovely aspect on the hill. Well signed and easy to find. It’s a lovely walk to Queens Lake with easy access direct from camp. The ground is quite uneven due to lots of dispersed grass clumps but this didn’t detract from our experience, only making the comment for future campers awareness. Hosts Jordi and family were lovely.

Beautiful peaceful open space with plenty of flat spots to choose from. Love the private access to the lake front, this will be a great swimming spot once all finished!! For a busy time of the year we were super impressed with the owner limiting numbers to maintain the serenity!

Wake up and see the cows! Go to bed looking at mind blowing sunsets.

Lovely spot by the creek to fish and relax. Campsites are well spaced apart so it still feels very private. Friendly hosts, clear directions for arrival. Great to enjoy a fire as it was cooler than expected.

Excellent site size with plenty of room for our 3 dogs to be off leash. Great water access for a swim and a fish. Hosts were very friendly and the whole area was bindi-free so we could walk around barefoot very comfortably. Nice and flat, easily accessible and very clean. We would definitely stay again!

Stay in the small coastal town of North Haven, where you will be a short 5 minute drive from North Haven Beach, or a 5 minute walk to Camden Haven River. There is plenty of space in the paddocks, with a choice of open grasslands and shaded areas with trees. You will need to be fully self-contained with own camping toilet/shower and water supply. Cut firewood for sale or you can gather your own.  Your dog is welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and in your control.  Please ensure you get in touch before with a phone call or text with your ETA for arrival so we can meet you at the gate. Please note camping allowed only in paddocks as the rest of the farm is off-limits. Our property is 177 acres with 17 acres of green open pasture for you to find your own patch, and plenty of sunshine for your solar needs. We also have exclusive access to Queens Lake with a lovely trail you can walk or drive, and a peaceful place to take a leisurely kayak ride, paddleboard or try your hand at fishing. Grants Beach access is across the road from our driveway where you can go swimming, surfing, fishing and even 4WD along the beach. We welcome you to find a spot that feels comfortable for you to set up your camp, but please note the following conditions: - All campers must be self-contained with their own power, water, and waste management. - Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. - Due to the bush fire danger period, campfires are not permitted from 1st October to 31st March. Dogs - We are happy for you to bring your fury friends (as long as they are supervised, dog and child friendly, well behaved and non destructive in nature) Please keep them out of the vegie gardens!! If you value your privacy, then you are at the right place. We have just one exclusive campsite on our 40 acres. You are hidden away and guaranteed privacy from the host accommodations. Private access is by 4WD only. Farm route is accessible by 2WD in dry weather - check with hosts before or on confirmation of booking. Access during unpredictable weather will depend on your vehicle/camper/caravan configuration. Please check with host prior if you are unsure. We are more than willing to make it work for you. On arrival, guests are met by host and directed to the site. Camp site is a secluded, grassy spot beside the creek, among tall gum trees, where you can enjoy peace and serenity. Perfect for families or group of friends. The creek has lovely shallow areas suitable for kids to splash and play in. Occasionally you may see sea eagles soaring overhead, they nest in one of the trees along the creek beside your camp area. Camp area has a composting drop toilet housed in an outback style 'dunny' shed. Fresh rainwater is available. The site has a fire pit and some light fire wood laying around from fallen branches, plus mesh to place over the fire pit if you wish to use the fire for cooking. (There will always be smaller branches and kindling available for fires however, larger and longer burning wood is not guaranteed all season.) Well behaved pets are welcome. You may be visited by some cattle during your stay...they will keep out of your way. There are some large and unique trees to admire and keep your eye out for wildflowers that grow along the creek. There is an active eagle's nest in one of the trees. Guests are welcome to explore down the creek where you'll find some great swimming holes. For a relaxing stroll, guests are welcome to walk the farm fence lines which are regularly maintained with a mower. There are so many beautiful local attractions to visit. Our local village is less than 2kms from the property where you will find Byabarra Cafe for excellent refreshments. Then a gorgeous drive up onto the plateau and you will find Comboyne village with a historic 1905 goal, Larrikins Lockup. And if you are feeling more adventurous, Rawson Falls and Ellenborough Falls make lovely day trips. And Comboyne Rock provides some stunning views. Upon arrival your host will provide you with an information pack on local attractions and general Hip Camp house rules and guidelines for your safety and enjoyment.

Cameron's Falls is a historic site, the 'falls', really just gentle rapids, are the original river crossing site for horse drawn vehicles to travel from Port Macquarie/Wauchope inland to Beechwood and beyond. Today we are a hobby farm with cows, horses - we invite you to say hello, but please don't feed any of the animals. If we are here to greet you on arrival you can fill up with potable rain water at our cottage. The Hastings is still tidal at our place so the access and flow varies throughout the day - we generally take our littlest kids down at low tide. Swim, fish or explore our hiking trails though the old growth riparian vegetation along winding creeks. If you are into birds you will see plenty here - in the last 12 months we have counted nearly 100 different species on our property!

"The Riverbank" is only 7.5 kilometres and an easy 8 minute drive off the M1. The rich green land supports a small beef raising enterprise and the cattle graze in surrounding paddocks. YOU MUST ARRIVE BEFORE SUNSET We are pet friendly however only for those pets that live in harmony with our farm animals. We offer 2 powered sites with water hookup and 2 unpowered drive through sites without water connection; our brand new magnificently appointed camp kitchen and bathroom ammenities are available to all who stay. We are caravan, campervan and motorhome friendly but do not offer swag only or tent sites. Campfires can be enjoyed through the cooler months and when permitted by the Rural Fire Service Unfortunately our 3 metre cliff face river frontage prevents access to the river for activities such as boating or kayaking; nor do we offer farm style adventures. "The Riverbank" as a destination for a relaxing time to unwind or a base from which to explore the beautiful Hastings area. The Abundance Nursery and Cafe with it's splendid lily pond view is a great spot to enjoy a meal or a coffee and only 3 kms back along Rawdon Island road. The pretty country town of Wauchope is only a 12 minute drive and is home to Timbertown, a theme park boasting steam train rides and a glimpse of the timber getting industry of a bygone era. Drop into the Vibe Coffee House, pick up "the best" coffee and a sensational meal before perusing the many treasures of Wauchope's specialty shops. A day trip to the Comboyne plateu is a rewarding experience and enhanced by enjoying a meal at the magnificant Byabarra Cafe on your way through. Whilst the meals equall those of any capital city restaurant, the view of the valley will take your breath away. And then; there's Port Macquarie (20 mins) and sorrounds! one of the most scenic and attraction packed areas of Australia's eastern seaboard. Stunning beaches, amazing walks, top class restaurants, the list goes on. The nearest Dump Points are locacted in Wauchope (12 minutes) or Port Macquarie (20 minutes)

Fernbank Creek Road runs along a natural ‘chain-of-ponds’ waterway, wildlife include turtles, ducks, quail, red bills, tawny frogmouth, ring tail possums, sugar gliders and kangaroos to name a few.
