At Hamiltons Hideaway we have 6 generous sites set on the banks of Pelican Creek. Fishing, mud crabs and wildlife at your site. With access to the Manning River with either a canoe, kayak, SUP or tinny. Or just fish off the bank for a flathead, bream or mullet. Spacious area for a game of cricket or just for the kids to run around. Relax by the creek of an afternoon watching the sunset. We are located 5mins from the Pacific Highway, 5mins to Harrington and 10mins to Crowdy Head. Close to town for shops and courtesy buses run to the property from the local pubs and club. Close to national parks and a short drive to beaches, waterfalls and mountain views.

Arrived to find the host waiting for us, her showed us to our site and where water was available. He also said he had firewood for us to purchase if needed. We had the place to ourselves which was an unexpected bonus. Sites were generous, with a fireplace and views of the creek that were perfect. Access to the creek was good for fishing or launching a kayak. Birds and wildlife were plentiful. We will definitely be going there again

What a great little campsite. Nice well kept large sites. Easy to access. We were visited by beautiful birds, huge kangaroos and watched the pelicans paddling by!! Lovely relaxing place that I would recommend

This is an amazing spot. Would have happily stayed longer if the weather didn't turn against us. Fantastic hosts. Very responsive, welcoming and flexible. Saved as one of my favourite spots and looking forward to returning soon.

Magic! My partner and I pulled up in a ute and a swag for an overnighter on our road trip. Didn't really want to leave but time wasn't on our side! Beautiful flat grassy space on the water beneath the trees. Abundance of native birds to keep you entertained. The family dog was a treat and kept us company while our stick throwing got stronger as the evening rolled in. Jamie and her partner were legends upon arrival - could have talked all night with them! Thanks guys. Bought wood which was hand delivered in the wheelbarrow for us and great burning. Highly recommend this hipcamp. We'll definitely be back.

We loved our stay here! It was picturesque and peaceful by the creek. The campsites are spacious and we enjoyed the birdlife. We went for a bike ride to Crowdy Head and returned via a national park track. We wished we could stay longer to unwind and would love to return another time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Great campsite right on the water and nicely mowed with fire pit pre packed with twigs - nice touch! The nights stars were amazing and sunset gorgeous over the water. Good distance between sites. Jaimie and Greg were very friendly and great hosts. We definitely will be back! Thank you. 🤩

A lovely spot to spend a night or three. Very quiet and peaceful. The hosts Jamie and Greg are great people. Very welcoming and genuine people. The campsites are really large, flat and easy to access. I’d highly recommend a stay if your in the area.
