Fantastic spot and the most friendly hosts ever. We had a great time, fishing, swimming, crabbing, lounging by the fire with our dogs. Couldn't of had a more relaxing time. I must say this is one for the 1st hipcamps we have been to where the pictures are accurate. The camp sites and surrounding land is manicured. On arrival we met Hayden who took us to our camp site and gave us the lay of the land and local knowledge then Bee and Ash came down to welcome us. Great place to bring a bike,kayak and fishing gear. The ringers hut was awsome to play with the kids some ping pong and an awsome old school arcade machine.

Linda’s land and horses and animals are absolutely truly phenomenal. Linda is such a beautiful soul who was so welcoming and accomodating towards us (and gifted us eggs on our arrival) and showed us the best spot to camp on her beautiful property. The drop toilet is well maintained and clean. The property is absolutely beautiful to wander in, swim in the damn, say hello to the horses who approached our campsite multiple times each day (Freddy the Shetland did try to steal a sponge, nothing is safe!). Bo, my beautiful dog was able to say hi to the horses, Linda’s dogs, the pig and explore the property, both him and my mum had a wonderful, beautiful stay 100/10, it was magnificent! I cannot wait to come back! 😊

What an amazing stay! A big thanks to Richard and Roslyn for hosting all 8 of us in our yearly camp trip. They were extremely accomodating and friendly throughout the entire 2 night stay. We enjoyed the lily pad pond where we played with Rc boats and walks around. The atmosphere of the cows were soothing and relaxing and getting a chance to feed them made the trip amazing. The location is very convenient and close to foster beach only 30 mins away where we enjoyed a beach day out. I’d definitely recommend visiting this amazing stay that is kid friendly and options with powered sites, toilet and showers available it made all the difference to our camp.

We had such a nice stay! The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The site was amazing and we felt secluded yet secure. Our dog had the best time out of all of us. Very dog and kid friendly. we selected a site 5 amongst the tall gums, watching the dappled light shine through the tree tops and the sound of the birds was peacefull, the location was only 5 mins off the highway but very quiet without any traffic noise it was a great stop on our way further south, it is a large site with tall trees, branches and logs were gathered up against the tree by the host, excellent thought. we loved the setting greg

Merrylegs's Paddock is the perfect spot for couples and smaller or larger groups. Merrylegs's is located towards the front of the property, and offers sites for up to 4 guests per site. Enjoy lovely grassed areas with ample shade for your camper-van, roof top tent, free standing tent or swag. We have seven (7) acres of fully fenced grassy paddocks, with mostly shaded open areas. We have a 2 night minimum and a 5 night maximum stay at both listings. We're located very close to Blueys Beach where you can stroll along the shore, go for a swim or help the kids build sandcastles. It’s a flat walk from your campsite, only minutes away along the footpath (approximately 350 metres) to local restaurants, cafes and shops. Those visiting with their furry family member can enjoy the nearest dog friendly beach within council regulated hours just a further 150 down the path. You can enjoy access to flushable toilets x 2 and a singular hot shower and a singular cold shower for those after the beach days, please BYO toiletries. We ask that you place all of your rubbish in the bins provided .. we can take your recyclable cans and bottles for the Earn and Return program. To clarify .. YES we have a garbage bin for general waste only .. no recycling bin. We allow campfires when it is safe. ALL fires must be contained in a fire pit. Absolutely no fires are to be lit on the open grass. WE have fire pits for hire and bagged firewood is available for purchase on site .. all fire pits brought onto the property for use by guests will be subject to the discretion of the property owners. All fires and fire pits must be "OK'd" with the property owners prior to lighting, what we're looking for is clearance from the ground to the base of the fire pit .. the greater distance the better. Fires can only be lit in accordance with NSW Rural Fire Services fire restrictions or total fire bans. We've had multiple patches of our buffalo lawn scorched to beyond charcoal by careless guests .. you must ask the hosts / property owners before lighting any fires .. unnecessary burnt patches of lawn may result in you and your guests leaving!! We ask you to please note: ** UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT TAKE ANY CARAVANS .. HYBRID CARAVANS .. MOTOR HOMES .. RV'S .. FIFTH WHEELER's .. BUSES INCLUDING MERCEDES SPRINTERS of any size .. mainly the footprint of these types of vehicles is far too great .. once again we're only a grassy paddock not a caravan park. If your camper trailer is wider than 2.5 meters or longer than 4.5 metres in length inclusive of the drawbar .. SORRY BUT ITS A NO!! If you have a Jayco of any description .. regardless of length / width OR what the "registration papers say" .. SORRY BUT IT IS STILL A NO!! - If you have solar panels to charge you might have to chase the sun a little, as there are plenty of shaded areas which is perfect come summer. We do not allow the use of "Slackline or Tightropes" strung between our trees, it causes them to be ringbarked after a prolonged use .. meaning they die in the long run .. rope clotheslines and hamocks perfectly ok on the palms, sheoaks and paperbarks!! - Dogs are permitted here however they must be friendly off leash and must NOT chase my pets which include horses, goats , dogs and our pet chooks. Please pick up after your pooch .. as a courtesy to other guests and also to us, it doesn't happen in a caravan park .. please do the right thing here!! PLEASE ADVISE US UPON BOOKING IF YOU ARE BRINGING A PET/PETS!! - There are animals that live here and they occasionally make animal noises. Specifically, we have a pet Rooster called Billy .. he is meticulous at his job of being a rooster and can start very early in the morning 4am We ask you to please be understanding during your visit, that this is Billy's home and we ask you to PLEASE RETHINK YOUR BOOKING if you feel this might impact on your holiday or your guests holiday. Falcons Nest is located 2 km from the amazing Blackhead Beach. It is an easily accessed semi-rural 25 acre property at Hallidays Point 20 minutes from Forster/Tuncurry. The Blackhead Tavern is within walking distance or you can grab the courtesy bus right from the front gate. Our local foodworks is just down the road. I'ts also just a 20-minute drive to Forster/Tuncurry. We have ample open space to park extra large motorhomes or small self-contained caravans. Power and water can be provided within the Big Shed sites. If Self contained camping is more your thing our paddock sites can cater to groups. The Property has treed areas along with some cleared paddocks so you can easily find some space to spread out as a group or on your own. This beautiful 98 acre property has 300m of river frontage on the Wallamba River. This is a lovely, shady, quiet and private space right on the river. You can watch the fish jump and the bird songs are so beautiful. There are no other camping sites near this space. We are just over an hour from Newcastle and Port Macquarie. Grab a kayak and enjoy being right on the river. Great fishing!! You will catch Bream, Flathead and Mud Crabs! You may also see the dolphins go past. We are 30 mins from Forster and Taree. The Nabiac Hotel is 10kms down the road and the village of Nabiac has all the essentials. We love our animals and along with our horses, we breed Therapy dogs. Your dogs are most welcome! The area is quite shady, and there is a decent down to the site on the river. From your campsite, you'll enjoy 360-degree views of greenery and forested areas, and have access to the properties main dam and the billabong for walking and exploring. You will need to be self contained at the moment. Pick up supplies in Forster, Raymond Terrace etc. The site has good access, no problem for 2WDs to large caravans. Preferably you are self contained as we are on limited septic. The site is powered. Please note, if you wish to run air-con or heating, please discuss this with us first as there may be an additional charge for that. We only accept one booking at a time, so you are guaranteed the place to yourselves. And your well-behaved dogs are welcome too, so long as they don't chase the wildlife.
