If you're looking for somewhere quiet and secluded that welcomes dogs, you'll love Diamond Park Campsite. Situated in beautiful Diamond Beach and backing on to the national park, this property offers two beautiful campsites suitable for tents, caravans, and campervans. Both sites are fenced so your dogs can be off-leash while inside the campsite (on-leash at all other times). Bush walk, bird watch or bring your kayak to paddle in the dam. You’ll feel like you’re miles away from it all, but it’s only a few minutes’ drive to dog-friendly beaches (Diamond Beach and Black Head Beach), cafes, a pub and a supermarket. Each site has a fire pit and free firewood is supplied. There’s also a paved undercover area with a rainwater tank and a table and chairs to seat 6-8 people comfortably. We’ve got you covered with the creature comforts: an amenities building including 1 hot shower, 1 flushing toilet, sink, washing machine and power points for charging your phone. You’re welcome to stroll through the property, where you’ll see fallow deer, sheep, wallabies, and a variety of bird life. We love welcoming groups of family and friends to enjoy catching up in nature, and we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed, friendly experience. But if you’re looking to party, Diamond Park Campsite is not for you. We host a maximum of 20 guests on the property. During peak season (October - March) and long weekends we may allow both sites to be booked at once if the initial booking is for a small group (4 people or less). Both sites are secluded. A private, fully fenced campsite overlooking a dam and forest. There’s an undercover paved area with table and chairs, a rainwater tank, fireplace, and firewood supplied. It’s a 300m stroll from the campsite to the amenities building, which has a flushing toilet, hot shower, washing machine and powerpoints for charging. To give you an idea of what this site accommodates, you could easily fit a caravan, a camper trailer and 2 vehicles, or 3 tents and 3 vehicles. There is plenty of space outside the fence to park cars if your group is on the larger side and you want more space, or if you have more tents or trailers. Getting to the site involves driving through a grassed paddock area which is fine for 2WD and caravans.

A private, fully fenced campsite surrounding a beautiful big tree. There’s an undercover paved area with table and chairs, a rainwater tank, fireplace, and firewood supplied. This site has its own composting toilet with handwashing sink just 30 metres away from where you’ll camp. The Big Tree site is about 500m away from the amenities building (hot shower and flushing toilet), but our guests have found that having the composting toilet close by is very convenient, and you can drive up for a shower when you need to or stop in for a shower on your way home from the beach. Fenced campsite dimensions: At least 40m x 45m (it's big). You can easily fit 4 caravans or camper trailers plus a few tents. It’s more than large enough to accommodate 20 people, which is the maximum number we can host on the property. Getting to the site involves driving through a grassed paddock area which is fine for 2WD and caravans.

Pure bliss! Catherine and John are very warm hosts, check in with you to make sure you have all you need then your off to enjoy your private tent site which is a slice of heaven. Listening to the waves at night and waking up to the animals and sounds of birds is beyond peaceful. Well kept area with extremely clean amenities. Thankful to be apart of your place for a short visit and cannot wait to be back. Highly recommend the area plus the hosts.

Awesome camp site. Safe, fenced well enough for a toddler and a dog. Lots of activities, animals, canoes, dam/river with good fishing. The camp fire with supplied wood was the perfect end to the day. Catherine and her family were all incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Thanks for having us, we hope to be back again!

We stayed for three nights this time and had such a peaceful and relaxing stay. The site is private, well maintained and has everything you need, with beautiful views and plenty of birdsong to enjoy throughout the day. We were also unexpectedly given some fresh eggs one day, which was such a lovely and thoughtful gesture — we’ll definitely be back! Also highly recommend Artisan Farmer, a lovely local café about 19 minutes away, for great coffee and baked goods.

What a great find! 🌿🏕️ We absolutely loved our stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better setup! The site was fantastic — spacious, private and completely fenced, which meant our doggo could roam freely and safely. The pergola was clean and welcoming, with plenty of firewood provided, and the huge tree in the centre of the site provided beautiful shade when we needed it. The amenities were fabulous too. The laundry and shower were spotlessly clean, with plenty of hooks and space to hang your things, and the enviro-loo was really well set up and maintained. We loved the little touches that made the property so charming — the chickens, sheep and adorable lambs and alpacas certainly added to the country feel. 🐑🦙🐔 There’s also a lovely walk down to the creek, where kayaks, a small boat and paddles are available to use. We crossed the creek and discovered a trail that took us all the way through to the beach — such a great little adventure! The location was another bonus, being close to cafes, the pub and local shops, while still feeling like a peaceful country escape. What a hidden gem! We loved our stay, loved the relaxed vibe and will definitely be hoping to return. 10/10 from us — highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here! The hosts were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.The fully enclosed area made this the perfect site for our dog. It was a massive relief to be able to leave him off-leash without any worries, knowing he was completely safe. As a bonus, the friendly livestock came right up to welcome us to the site, which was a lovely experience.The location is fantastic. Its close proximity to the nearby town and beaches was so handy and meant we were able to go for a swim every single day. Plus, there was an abundance of firewood provided, so we never had to worry about running out. We highly recommend this spot!

Our camp at Diamond Beach Park was fantastic! Quiet, beautiful, everything you need. We had Site 1 by the dam and it was great to have the closed in area for my dog and the little shelter with tank water and plenty of firewood. Thank you John and Cath for making us feel so welcome. We had such a lovely stay here with our camper trailer and two Cavoodles. The property is beautifully maintained, and it’s clear a lot of thought has gone into the layout, with a great balance of privacy and easy access to amenities. The fenced campsite was a huge highlight for us. It meant we could genuinely kick back and relax while the dogs safely wandered, sniffed and foraged to their hearts’ content. If you have dogs with less-than-perfect recall, this is such a luxury! The site itself is very well set up, with its own covered area, rainwater tank, dining table and food-preparation space. It was the perfect spot for preparing and enjoying meals while staying sheltered from the sun. There’s also a beautiful large tree, several smaller trees and plenty of grassy areas, which made the site feel peaceful and inviting. We loved the daily visits from the alpaca, and passing the adorable little lambs as we drove through the property was an added treat. Even the composting toilet deserves a mention — it was exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The beach is only a short drive away and is dog-friendly, which made the location even better for us. The owner who showed us to our site was friendly, welcoming and informative, and we felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it, particularly to anyone travelling with dogs or small children. Having a secure, fenced space where they can safely explore while the adult

Can I just say - the photos don’t do this beautiful location justice! Magnificent is an understatement! Not to mention the hospitality of the hosts! Catherine and her father in law were over accomodating and I highly recommend booking this stunning venue. Will be back there very soon.

We absolutely loved our stay and our dog had a fantastic time being able to run around within our site. Catherine and John were so helpful, telling us about the property. My husband went exploring and caught his first fish for our trip. If you need a relaxing getaway and freedom for your dog, I highly recommend staying at site 2. We will definitely stay again during our next trip 😊👍

Perfect spot for a weekend away. Easy to find and access even if you don’t have a 4WD. Great spot with a 2km walk down to the local cafe and beautiful beach. The great amenities make it easy to relax while still having the creature comforts!

Easy access 4wd not required great if you have dogs as you have your own enclosed area with fire pit and wood provided.Would definitely go back knowing that they little fishing holes next to the campsite.Very peaceful and relaxing .

Absolutely loved camping here in Diamond Beach!! The owners were extremely nice and even took care of us in our tricky boghole situations!! A massive property with lots to do and plenty of fish to catch!! Definitely coming back in the future!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful. It was so peaceful and we felt comfortable straight away after arriving, with our dog Daisy contained and safe too which was such a bonus. Catherine and her family were such lovely, accomodating hosts and we had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. We visited the local dog beach too which was no more than 5 minutes away and loved going to sleep at night listening to the sounds of the bush and the waves. I could not recommend this beautiful spot any more highly, and we will definetely be back.

We loved staying here. Very private, fenced camping spots (we stayed at the big tree). Each with there own shelters, tables, chairs and fire pits (with wood included). Catherine's communication was fantastic and her and John very welcoming when we arrived. Awesome spot.

Beautiful spot, close to Forster and the beach, but feels so secluded. The amenities are great. So good having a fence around the campsite to keep the dog in. The undercover area was perfect when the rain started and it was nice to light a fire both nights. Long drop toilet was close by and clean! The showers were 1 min drive away or a 5 min walk (and also clean). The host went out of their way to help welcome us. Would definitely stay again.

Had a really relaxing time here! The enclosed space was just perfect for us and helped made us feel so much more comfortable camping with our senior dog who likes to roam around everywhere. The site is also close to an amazing dog friendly beach and you get to hear the waves crash at night! Will definitely be back, thanks Catherine and Pop for being great hosts!

What a beautiful campsite. This was our second visit, and once again everything was perfect. The campsite is very flat and well-prepared for setting up tents, and all the amenities are clean and convenient. The alpacas are absolutely adorable! We also loved how beautiful birds would frequently visit our tent, which made the experience even more special and fun. On the first night, the stars were so breathtaking that we spent nearly two hours just looking up at the sky. Thank you, Catherine, for helping us create such wonderful memories.

Myself husband and daughter with 2 year old and dog had a lovely relaxing time on the property. Having the fence around made it stress free with a toddler running around. Amenities beautifully clean . Whole family very friendly and even the Lamas and sheep who enjoyed being fed. Will certainly be back

We loved staying at Catherine's Hipcamp! It was a beautiful, well kept site next to a gorgeous giant tree. It was a large fenced area so our toddler and kelpie had lots of space to explore. There is a big table and bench undercover and campfire supplied. There was a resident kookaburra who visited us often, and alpacas and sheep over the fence. The compositing toilet was great to have nearby, and we drove up for a hot shower each evening. And the dog friendly Diamond Beach was only 5 mins down the road. We'll be returning often!
