Falcons Nest is located 2 km from the amazing Blackhead Beach. It is an easily accessed semi-rural 25 acre property at Hallidays Point 20 minutes from Forster/Tuncurry. The Blackhead Tavern is within walking distance or you can grab the courtesy bus right from the front gate. Our local foodworks is just down the road. I'ts also just a 20-minute drive to Forster/Tuncurry.
We have ample open space to park extra large motorhomes or small self-contained caravans. Power and water can be provided within the Big Shed sites.
If Self contained camping is more your thing our paddock sites can cater to groups. The Property has treed areas along with some cleared paddocks so you can easily find some space to spread out as a group or on your own.
There's a dam and dry creek bed with lots of bush down the back, and wallabies can be seen feeding most mornings and afternoons at the back of the property.

Camp at Riverside Hilltop:
For sweeping views, set up at the Hilltop overlooking the river. Launch your fishing rods, canoes, SUPs or even a jet ski (no jetty, so launch from the riverbank). Watch swans glide, birds greet the dawn, and deer pass by as the river becomes your playground.
Your Hosts:
Hayden and Ash live on-site and will guide you to your spot whether riverside or hilltop. They’ll give you the farm rundown, share local tips, and help you feel right at home.
The Area:
Two Rivers is tucked away in Coolongolook on the Mid North Coast, with waterways flowing right out to Forster—just a 10-minute boat ride away. Enjoy lovely grassed areas with ample shade for your camper-van, roof top tent, free standing tent or swag. We have seven (7) acres of fully fenced grassy paddocks, with mostly shaded open areas.
We have a 2 night minimum and a 5 night maximum stay at both listings.
We're located very close to Blueys Beach where you can stroll along the shore, go for a swim or help the kids build sandcastles. It’s a flat walk from your campsite, only minutes away along the footpath (approximately 350 metres) to local restaurants, cafes and shops. Those visiting with their furry family member can enjoy the nearest dog friendly beach within council regulated hours just a further 150 down the path.
You can enjoy access to flushable toilets x 2 and a singular hot shower and a singular cold shower for those after the beach days, please BYO toiletries. We ask that you place all of your rubbish in the bins provided .. we can take your recyclable cans and bottles for the Earn and Return program. To clarify .. YES we have a garbage bin for general waste only .. no recycling bin.
We allow campfires when it is safe. ALL fires must be contained in a fire pit. Absolutely no fires are to be lit on the open grass.
WE have fire pits for hire and bagged firewood is available for purchase on site .. all fire pits brought onto the property for use by guests will be subject to the discretion of the property owners. All fires and fire pits must be "OK'd" with the property owners prior to lighting, what we're looking for is clearance from the ground to the base of the fire pit .. the greater distance the better. Fires can only be lit in accordance with NSW Rural Fire Services fire restrictions or total fire bans.
We've had multiple patches of our buffalo lawn scorched to beyond charcoal by careless guests .. you must ask the hosts / property owners before lighting any fires .. unnecessary burnt patches of lawn may result in you and your guests leaving!!
We ask you to please note:
** UNFORTUNATELY WE DO NOT TAKE ANY CARAVANS .. HYBRID CARAVANS .. MOTOR HOMES .. RV'S .. FIFTH WHEELER's .. BUSES INCLUDING MERCEDES SPRINTERS of any size .. mainly the footprint of these types of vehicles is far too great .. once again we're only a grassy paddock not a caravan park.
Standard size camper trailers and camper-vans, roof top tents are all completely fine.
If your bus is longer than 4 meters in length, over 2 meters in height and/ or width with a tare weight of 3 tonne or over SORRY BUT IT IS A NO!!
If your camper trailer is wider than 2.5 meters or longer than 4.5 metres in length inclusive of the drawbar .. SORRY BUT ITS A NO!!
If you have a Jayco of any description .. regardless of length / width OR what the "registration papers say" .. SORRY BUT IT IS STILL A NO!!
- If you have solar panels to charge you might have to chase the sun a little, as there are plenty of shaded areas which is perfect come summer.
We do not allow the use of "Slackline or Tightropes" strung between our trees, it causes them to be ringbarked after a prolonged use .. meaning they die in the long run .. rope clotheslines and hamocks perfectly ok on the palms, sheoaks and paperbarks!!
- Dogs are permitted here however they must be friendly off leash and must NOT chase my pets which include horses, goats , dogs and our pet chooks.
Please pick up after your pooch .. as a courtesy to other guests and also to us, it doesn't happen in a caravan park .. please do the right thing here!!

- There are animals that live here and they occasionally make animal noises. Specifically, we have a pet Rooster called Billy .. he is meticulous at his job of being a rooster and can start very early in the morning 4am
We ask you to please be understanding during your visit, that this is Billy's home and we ask you to PLEASE RETHINK YOUR BOOKING if you feel this might impact on your holiday or your guests holiday.
On arrival, we ask that you stop at the garages at the front of the house to confirm your check-in and get instructions .. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE PROPERTY, prior to letting us know you have arrived.
NO ARRIVALS AFTER 10PM .. during peak periods it impacts greatly on our other onsite guests, we've had too many complications in the past, appologies it simply it doesn't work.
When we have heavy rain, some areas of the property are not car accessible and you may need to walk to some amenities. and keep driving to a minimum.
Upon your booking you will receive a couple of private messages from us .. these will be located in your HipCamp Messages on the App or the website

Situated in beautiful Diamond Beach and backing on to the national park, this property offers two beautiful campsites suitable for tents, caravans, and campervans. Both sites are fenced so your dogs can be off-leash while inside the campsite (on-leash at all other times). Bush walk, bird watch or bring your kayak to paddle in the dam. You’ll feel like you’re miles away from it all, but it’s only a few minutes’ drive to dog-friendly beaches (Diamond Beach and Black Head Beach), cafes, a pub and a supermarket.
Each site has a fire pit and free firewood is supplied. There’s also a paved undercover area with a rainwater tank and a table and chairs to seat 6-8 people comfortably.
We’ve got you covered with the creature comforts: an amenities building including 1 hot shower, 1 flushing toilet, sink, washing machine and power points for charging your phone.
You’re welcome to stroll through the property, where you’ll see fallow deer, sheep, wallabies, and a variety of bird life.
We love welcoming groups of family and friends to enjoy catching up in nature, and we pride ourselves on offering a relaxed, friendly experience. But if you’re looking to party, Diamond Park Campsite is not for you.
We host a maximum of 20 guests on the property. The land is about 650 metres. It is in a residential street (houses each side).
It is a gentle slope down from the street where you park to where the level camp site BUT I do not recommend driving down to the level camping area. Even in a 4 wheel drive cars have been stuck and if it's been wet or even if it's dry, you will be stuck and I have no way of helping you. It's about 20 steps from the street to the camping area. Easy walk.
If you have a car/truck with the camping arrangement on your roof, this site is not for you. Sorry.
Level area for camping is about 220m with water and power plus a 8m x 2.5m cabin for hanging out in the day, storage in wet weather. The cabin is about 25 steps further down from the camping. It is a gentle slope to get to. The outlook is lovely.
The land is just 500 steps from Smiths Lake. The photo of the lake is the spot. It doesn't look that good every afternoon. That was one of those super magic sunsets; but it's often amazing. Town water is on and power is also on. Toilets are a short 3 minutes drive to the Frothy Coffee lake side with BBQ and toilet amenities

A beautiful hilly 90 acre working farm in the hinterland above The Great Lakes (Myall, Smith , Wallis Lakes), 30 mins from Seal Rocks, just 10km off the M1 about 20 minutes from Bulahdelah.
The property offers privacy and magnificent views of rolling green hills and ancient trees and a huge dam with pontoon for swimming. Great stars on a clear night. Sit, relax, and enjoy the magnificent views or utilise the surrounding forests, beaches, lakes, farmers markets, and local winery. You'll be camping with a herd of horses who do visit camping sites. There's also the Pet pig "Barney Rubble" and ponies / ducks/ chickens/ talking parrot to entertain little people.
Firewood can be purchased when you arrive for CASH for $20 per load and must be collected from the house upon arrival. Eggs also are available - $8 CASH on arrival. Lemons are free.
We limit bookings for your privacy. It is a hilly property so you need adequate power and 4WD to access the higher sites, particularly if towing. 4WD are most suitable for this property. Message before booking about access, particularly after rain, if you don't have a 4WD/off-road van. Dogs are welcome and are fine to be off-lead provided they don't chase horses and are friendly. They must be on a lead near the house around the free-range chooks etc. Campers should be fully contained. Bring all, take all, no footprint camping. We look forward to hosting you.

Site one perfect for us.. we've got a small dog, and he reacts to everything so it was nice to let him run around within the boundary of the fence and be free.. plenty of camping space and access to the pogola was a definite added bonus as we had some average weather.. overall.. this site had it all !

We were greeted by Hayden who was very friendly and welcoming.
It was beautifully peaceful and extremely relaxing. Kim (my Wife) and I loved every minute of it. The views over the river are absolutely stunning. We even saw dolphins. We will definitely be back.

We loved camping right on the river. It was a great spot. The directions to get to the property were easy to follow. The hosts were super friendly and the property was very well maintained. Perfect spot to rewind, we were even lucky enough to see dolphins go up the river and back again. We will be back.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful campsite.
We spent the weekend relaxing right on the riverbank and it was exactly what we needed. The highlight was seeing multiple pods of dolphins cruising past — unreal experience you don’t get everywhere.
The spot is quiet, spacious and perfect for switching off.
Our dogs had the best time swimming and running along the river while we kicked back and enjoyed the surroundings.
If you’re after a calm, relaxing riverside escape away from crowds, this place is perfect.

My partner and I visited the farm for a few days and fell in love with it immediately. The nature, the farm itself, and the campsite were simply wonderful. Clint took us under his wing, answered every question, knew every story about the animals, and explained the topic of "being and becoming vegan." You can tell how much he loves each and every animal and how each one is like family to him. And we, too, were welcomed into the family for those few days. Thank you for this truly memorable time.

Very Friendly host. Nice quiet spot with direct river frontage. Boat ramp and small jetty for those with boats or canoes. Does have a small sandy shore where you can swim. Lots of birdlife for peaceful ambiance. Plenty of grassed flat sites for self contained. There is a long drop toilet if required. Fires allowed if you have your own off ground firepit but also had a communal one set up as well. Had a relaxing long weekend.

A friend and I swag camped here for one night. The host was very considerate and easy to communicate with. Loved our stay here - easy access and a lot provided at a great price. Be careful of having cooking fires during hot weather - not appreciated by the locals. However, would definitely recommend this spot.

Lucky Star Sanctuary is set on absolutely beautiful land, peaceful and full of heart. Clint is a wonderful host, very accommodating and clearly devoted to what he does. The animals are a real highlight and it is obvious they are deeply loved and well cared for.
Just a practical note for future campers: the toilet is located exactly as described, but it is uphill. With my car setup, it was not easy to just drive up there without packing things away, so that is something to keep in mind depending on your mobility and vehicle setup.
That said, this is a very rustic and basic stay, so come prepared for simple camping. If you are happy with that, it is absolutely worth it for the price, the setting, and the chance to be around the animals. A special, down to earth experience.

Glorious views in all directions atop the hill at Herring Estate. Manicured property with shade if you need it. Sunrise over the slither of ocean visible to the east was worth the early morning rise. Old Bar Beach and the Saltwater National Park 15 minutes away. Don’t leave without a jar of local honey! To be repeated.

The best all-around beach for those camping near Port Stephens, One Mile Beach is patrolled during the holidays and has a consistent swell perfect for those looking to get out and surf. The nearby One Mile Track will wind you through the headland, offering stunning ocean views along the ocean-side cliffs.
The sheltered coves along the cliff faces are perfect for campers looking for a quiet spot to cast off. At low tide, the golden sands are perfect for a beach walk, but beware, One Mile Beach's northern neighbour is a clothing-optional beach. Samurai Nudist Beach gets the same great waves as its neighbour, but family outings are best kept to the patrolled sands of One Mile.
