No Tents or sleeping in cars that do not have shower and toilet facility. We are a 4 minute drive from the historical town of Gladstone, which has a bakery, butcher, general store, retail shops, fruit and veg shop, nursery, cafes, restaurants, an op-shop, second hand wares shop, galleries, outdoor swim centre and of course the local pub. Gladstone Markets are on the 3rd Sunday of the month. It's a 20 minute drive to South West Rocks, Hat Head and Crescent Head. Just 45 minutes north of Port Macquarie and 1 hour south of Coffs Harbour. Please arrive before dark, or advise arrival time if not possible . You must be fully self contained, there are no facilities. Please no tents or swags. Enjoy a beautiful campsite near a large dam, watch the ducks, rosellas, cranes, herons and the occasional Jabiru, feed and nest in the trees. A great spot for bird watching. Pick your own spot, maybe near one of the fire braziers, but not directly under the trees if windy. No livestock on property but we have visiting kangaroos, tortoises, green frogs, and eels in the dam if you want to fish for them. Mid Coast Flying operate a private 800 metre airstrip on the property, and Trial Instructional Flights (TIFS) are available, for $150 for 45 minutes. Please speak to Ross when you arrive. You can pick your own site. Unfortunately we may have to close after torrential rain events. We are also pet friendly, however there are no bins, so please pick up after your pets in the camping area. Water is available near the hangar as you drive in.Please arrive before dark, or advise arrival time if not possible, as there is no lighting down to the camp area. You must be fully self contained, there are no facilities. SO PLEASE NO TENTS, SWAGS OR SLEEPING IN CARS, unless you have a portable toilet, as we are a silage farm our grass is very important. One to go back to

Great spot , grass well mown, nice outlook over dam. Lots of bird life. Close to all surrounding attractions. Very restful Welcoming Host. Only saw 1 plane but we were told to expect it

We loved our stay at Playstation. Ross has created a beautiful hip camp around the dam, the sites are spacious and private. Hopefully we'll stay again.

Take flight at PlayStation

It was a lovely peaceful camp to stay at next to the lake was very nice. The owner was very nice and inviting, every afternoon checking that you’re okay and having a good time. Fire pit worked a treat BYO fire wood is best. The grass was manicured like a golf course. The owner took his plane out for a flight ✈️ awesome. Loved it 😊

Just the Birds

Loved PlayStation on Old Station Road. Ross was very accommodating and showed us a few different spots we could park and set up camp; lovely grassy areas around the little lake/dam. Very peaceful and relaxing with a fire every night, pity we had to leave. Beautiful sunsets and the weather was at its finest. Only the birds to talk too.

Perfect for our stopover

For our stay we were the only campers. There has been some rain and Ross took us down to the site and showed us around which was helpful. The land for camping is level and for us dry and private. Very nice spot to sit and relax and do nothing. It’s not a site that kids would be able to entertain themselves for days without heading out but it was perfect for us, we used it as a stopover on the way to Queensland and we were collecting 2 teenage boys from South West Rocks the next morning.

Peaceful and tranquil

Ross is a great host, we meet Ross on arriving and he showed us the camping sites and we were free to choose where to camp. Ross's place is conveniently located with easy driving to Kempsey, South West Rocks and Crescent Head. Camping on Ross's land is like camping in your own backyard as the grass is nicely mowed. We would definitely recommend this place as we will be back.
