Absolutely fantastic campground — we honestly couldn’t rate it highly enough. The facilities are amazing and exceptionally well maintained. Clean toilets, excellent laundry facilities, and warm showers made our stay incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully set up, which makes such a difference when camping. The people here are genuinely friendly and welcoming, creating a relaxed, community feel that instantly makes you feel at home. Add to that the easy access to the creek and a beautiful, clean waterhole, and it’s hard to imagine a better spot to unwind and connect with nature. Whether you’re staying for a night or settling in for longer, this campground has everything you could want. We’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending it to everyone we know. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this campground. The entire place is incredibly well-maintained — from the spotless facilities to the neatly kept grounds, everything shows how much care the hosts put into it. The surrounding area is beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. The hosts themselves are truly outstanding: warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. As a solo traveler, I immediately felt safe and comfortable here, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly without ever feeling overwhelming. Every site has its own fire pit. Firewood is available for purchase on-site, which makes it super convenient. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended for anyone — especially solo travelers — looking for a clean, safe, and genuinely lovely campground. I’ll definitely be back!

2 nights at Levenvale Farm in Bellingen

Beyond the creek was the ultimate. Your own private area with plenty of space and felt secluded among the mountain range. Stayed mid week and only saw about 3 cars go past the shared road. As a solo 30s girl camping with her dog, it was the perfect location - plenty of space to play with the dog and a nice stroll to go and visit the cows. Simple bathroom just a short walk across the road. So quick to drive into town but far enough to feel away from everyone and everything. I would highly recommend this space again! The creek was great for my dog, but not something you’d pop into yourself, in my opinion. A nice little picnic table set up as well. I loved it!!!!

The blueberry farm was a lovely stop over on our trip South! Kids went nuts picking delish blueberries and the site was quiet and secluded. Bit of a tight turn getting into site 2 and we only have a 16ft van but a beautiful stay all the same!

3 nights at The Blue Lagoon

We finally returned to "Heaven on Earth" this weekend just gone and once again it did not disappoint! The Blue Lagoon is simply "Magical" and it was a great place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary in style. Having the place to ourselves and indulging in a beautiful night-time hot bath in the new stone tub overlooking the magical lagoon is something to remember. Laura & Dougie are fabulous hosts and also very accommodating. We can't thank them enough for sharing this wonderful piece of heaven with us once again. Can't wait for our next trip back to The Blue Lagoon!!

This is our second visit and it didn’t disappoint. We came in summer this time and the water was beautiful, crystal clear and plenty of fish. All sites booked but plenty of space - will definitely be back again.

Come and camp in this quiet, peaceful location. Campers will be able to enjoy state forest access to explore wildlife or sit back, relax and take in the extensive views of the ocean, farmland and green valley, established tropical fruit trees, wandering cattle in close proximity and occasional native animals wandering by, city lights at night can be seen while under the stars, privacy assured. There are also bush walks for guests to enjoy. There are few facilities here, tank water and a sawdust composting toilet, picnic table and small contained fire pit also... campers need to be self sufficient with optional own toilet/shower facilities and leave no trace. The camp site has had an upgrade beautification and facility program that is fully available. The property is in close proximity to the ocean and the city, just a 10 minute drive too the Coffs Harbour CBD. You're welcome to bring your pet, but they must be supervised and kept under control. Campfire are permitted in the provided fire area. Please note that some sites require 4WD access and are a steep climb (see photos). Caravan access is limited to small to medium length only. Large vans require assistance so not recommended for this site.

Welcome to the Blue Lagoon, our very own piece of paradise, we cannot wait to share with you. Situated on over 100 acres in Upper Orara, just 20 minutes west of Coffs Harbour. The beauty of this place is that it's a private campsite, this stunning waterhole is all yours to enjoy, with only one booking taken at a time. (Note: The booking is for 2 people for the entire site- then a small extra charge for additional guests) This magical waterhole has crystal clear spring-fed water, where you’ll be able to enjoy spotting fish, turtles, and a platypus along with stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, and simply relaxing. IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. Bellinger River Tourist Park took over in 2009. We have been slowly improving the land along the way and hope to make more improvements as we go. Adored by both young and old, you can find us halfway between Brisbane and Sydney, 3km off the Pacific Highway in the small town of Repton, just 10 minutes drive from the well known arts and craft town of Bellingen and just 15 minutes south of the conveniences and attractions of Coffs Harbour. Our park has a variety of accommodation options available to suit your needs and budget. Choose to stay at one of our powered or unpowered caravan and camping sites, with our waterfront sites large enough to accommodate all types of camper trailers, caravans and motor homes. As a Pet friendly park, you can bring along your additional family member on holidays with you, subject to the conditions of our Pet Policy. For the convenience of our guests, our Family Orientated Amenities block features 10 suites with hair dryers disabled shower, baby room, men’s room, guest laundry and a filtered water bottle station. We have a dump point located onsite with easy access. Bring your boat and your fishing rod along, and enjoy the magical sunrises and sunsets of the serene Bellinger River, right from your site. Pet Policy: Pets must be kept on a lead (retractable lead locked at no more than 1.5 metres) at all times and either retained by hand by an adult or tied up within your camp site. There is no “off leash area” in the park. Pets are not to be left unattended whilst you go out, they must go out with you. Pet owners are responsible for collection and disposal of their pet’s waste which must be sealed in a bag and disposed of in a rubbish bin. Bags are available for purchase in the office. Pet owners are personally responsible and liable for any and all injuries and/or property damage or losses in relation to any actions relating to their pet. For the enjoyments of all guests, please do not allow your pet to urinate etc on any guests site or property. For health and safety reasons, pets are not permitted in the Amenities Block, Laundry, Camp Kitchen, Community Garden, Pool (including pool area), BBQ area, or near, in or under Villas. If you wish to bath your pet, we have a bath located near the Back Boom Gate. Please feel free to use it. Please DO NOT wash pet bedding in the washing machines, dryers or laundry troughs. The campsite is basic, there are no facilities. Guests will need to provide their own toilet facilities. There are free public Dump Points available in Bellingen, Urunga, Mylestom and Coffs Harbour A mains WATER tap is available for use upon request, though it is located a short distance from the campsite. The best time to visit Boambee Beach is during the warmer months, from September to April, when the weather is ideal for beach activities and whale watching. Winter and spring are perfect for spotting migrating whales from Boambee Headland. Avoid peak holiday seasons if you prefer a quieter experience.

Know before you go

Boambee Beach is not patrolled, so always exercise caution when swimming or engaging in water sports.
Boambee Creek Reserve is a family-friendly spot with shallow waters, ideal for young children.
Facilities such as barbeques, shelters, and toilets are available at the reserve, with a small parking fee.
Dogs are welcome on the beach off the leash, making it perfect for pet owners.
