Thank you to Laura for your warm welcome, kindness and hospitality in sharing your piece of paradise on sacred Gumbaynggirr land. You can truly feel the connection to nature and earth here.
The Blue Lagoon was everything — and more — than I imagined. Every review here speaks the same language, and now I understand why. This is an experience not to be forgotten.
The healing blue pools, the crystal-clear water, turtles, incredible birdlife, and the peaceful sounds of nature with the gentle background of running rapids created something really special. Waking to mist rising over the water felt magical.
The camping spaces are clear, open, beautifully maintained and surrounded by nature. The stone bath is an absolute must — especially on a soft rainy evening with the shower overhead. We loved every moment of it.
At night, the campfire was perfect beneath phenomenal skies filled with bright stars and a clear view of the Milky Way.
As mentioned in the listing, you do need to be fully self-contained, but the bath setup is such a thoughtful addition.
A truly peaceful, grounding and unforgettable stay. We will absolutely be back.

The Blue Lagoon
Most beautiful campsite and very helpful and friendly hosts. The site is massive, private and grassy. The waterhole is so stunning. There’s also a running river on the other side, and with the chirping of the birds, it’s just the most beautiful and relaxing setting. And the hot stone bath push it to top level of camping experience that one can ask for.

We have been wanting to come to blue lagoon since we purchased our caravan back in July! This place is incredible. We scored a cancellation booking and stayed for 4 nights. Lauren, Doug and the kids are an incredibly family! Can not wait to stay there again! The bath was such a beautiful touch, very relaxing 🍃🐟

By far the most beautiful place we have ever camped! The water was pristine, and the wildlife abundant. Laura was very welcoming and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to the Blue Lagoon due to a cancellation. I still can’t believe we had it to ourselves. What an incredible experience!

This is by far my favourite Hipcamp I've ever stayed at! The beautiful blue water was so refreshing to swim in, and the pristine water made for a beautiful backdrop when using the bathtub. On top of this, the hosts are the most wonderful people in the world.

We’ve travelled across Australia and stayed in many different camps, but this one takes the cake! From the beautiful blue water to the wildlife and the stargazing, everything was incredible. We felt like two kids again jumping in the water all day, playing on the floatie and swinging on the swing. There’s even SUPs and canoes to use! The bathtub upgrade is definitely worth it, who can say that they’ve watched wild turtles swimming in the water below while having a bath? And to top it all off, Laura and Doug were exceptional hosts - you can tell they really care about the beautiful property and they make sure everyone’s visits are perfect!
10/10, can’t wait to come back!

This was such a magical experience. Private, serene, well maintained and the most blue and clean water I’ve ever swam in. We spent our time there skipping rocks, kayaking, swimming and using the rope swing. Laura was so helpful, responsive and welcoming and we hope to stay here again in the future

I was fortunate enough to upgrade to the Blue Lagoon after a last-minute cancellation, and it was pure magic. I spent three unforgettable days surrounded by wildlife—like watching an aquarium in real life. The privacy and serenity let me fully relax and switch off. If you have the chance to upgrade and get the bath, it’s absolutely worth it.
Dougy and Laura were such fabulous hosts; they were helpful, relaxed, and truly made the experience even more special.

My partner and I had the most beautiful stay at Laura’s place. It was so easy to access with a van and the views were outstanding. Laura and her partner were super helpful and replied to every enquiry we had and even gave us a lovely tour of the property. The water was so clear and clean with so many fish !! We snorkeled all day and soaked up the sun while floating on Laura’s pontoon she lended us. Overall this was the best camp we have been to and we will most definitely be coming back !!

This place is paradise! Absolutely stunning! The hosts were lovely and super informative. Lots to do, swimming, snorkeling, exploring the river and more! They have done a great job of making this huge space really private for the Hipcampers, which was really appreciated.

Omg, I could not recommend this place more!! The water is absolute paradise! So clear and blue. My daughters loved seeing turtles and fish.

We finally returned to "Heaven on Earth" this weekend just gone and once again it did not disappoint! The Blue Lagoon is simply "Magical" and it was a great place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary in style. Having the place to ourselves and indulging in a beautiful night-time hot bath in the new stone tub overlooking the magical lagoon is something to remember. Laura & Dougie are fabulous hosts and also very accommodating. We can't thank them enough for sharing this wonderful piece of heaven with us once again. Can't wait for our next trip back to The Blue Lagoon!!

What a magical spot! We had the best time camping here with our 2 boys. Water is a an amazing clear blue. So refreshing to swim in on hot days! Kids loved the swing, the bath is incredible well worth the extra money spent. We have already booked again!

I’ve been wanting to experience the blue lagoon and let me tell you it was everything I’d imagined and more. It’s booked out 6 months+ in advance for a reason. We have already locked in our return visit and this time we made sure we book it for more nights!
