Welcome to the Blue Lagoon, our very own piece of paradise, we cannot wait to share with you. Situated on over 100 acres in Upper Orara, just 20 minutes west of Coffs Harbour. The beauty of this place is that it's a private campsite, this stunning waterhole is all yours to enjoy, with only one booking taken at a time. This magical waterhole has crystal clear spring-fed water, where you’ll be able to enjoy spotting fish, turtles, and a platypus along with stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bushwalking, and simply relaxing. IMPORTANT: The camp is for self-contained campers only. You MUST have your own toilet, water and take all waste with you when you go. This is non-negotiable. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. PLEASE NOTE: The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. Please check in with us 3 days prior to arrival to confirm conditions. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground may be available. The photos display pristine blue waters, which is what is so magical about this place. However after heavy rain, the water colour can change in appearance. Campfires are permitted in the designated fire ring, when local restrictions are not in place. FIREWOOD is available to purchase. BBQ LAMB packages are also available to purchase. Please note - We are not a commercial campground.There's plenty of space to setup your caravan, camper trailer or tents, with private water views. Activities include- Swim in the crystal clear water, go fishing for freshwater fish, there are kayaks available for a paddle, Swing over the water, go on a bushwalk, spot the wildlife- deers, platypus, fish, turtles, birds. It is 2WD accessible if we've had no rain prior. Our track on can get quite muddy. After rain 4WD access is recommended. We have no amenities on site. Please note - you absolutely must have your own camp toilet and supplies with you. There are no facilities here. We strictly forbid using the land as a toilet. Please help us keep this special place pristine. All waste must be taken with you on departure. The nearest dump point is in Coffs Harbour. The property lies on river frontage and is subject to flooding in heavy rain. In the case of flooding, a full refund will be issued, or an alternate campsite on higher ground maybe available. There is no fences to the waterhole, you must supervise your children at all times!

This is our second stay at the Blue Lagoon and once again it has not disappointed. Absolutely magical and so soul reviving. As before, Laura was the perfect host. We cannot wait for our next stay. Thank you again for sharing this little piece of paradise with us.

Laura is a 5 star host 🥰 We have booked again the Blue Lagoon property is unbelievable, you think the pictures look amazing, photos doesn’t even do it justice. A very special place 🤩🤩

Where do we even start with this place. Absolutely stunning! Blue lagoon, has quickly become one of our favourite little hidden gems, and we will definitely be back. A huge thank you to our wonderful host, Laura, for being so welcoming and easy to deal with. She went above and beyond. If you’re looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway, we highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to return!

Our second time ,we love this place and thanks to Laura and Dougy for all you do. Checking up on us to see if there is anything we need ,wonderful hosts. Water was beautiful as always. We swam every day and kayaked down the river. Birds,🦜butterflies🦋 just a beautiful place to relax. You must try the lamb packs 💜. Thanks again will be back.

The Blue Lagoon
We are repeat guests as we love the Blue lagoon Crystal clear so refreshing in the heat . The camp spot is beautifully mown and total privacy is assured. Laura and Doug are perfect hosts friendly and responsive. There is plenty of wild life turtles in the pool and lovely local birds. It’s just such a relaxing place in the pool or sitting on the bank viewing it and the lovely rapids feeding lagoon We will be back again Thanks Laura and Doug
