Many locals live here for the lifestyle and many (including us) choose to be self-sufficient. A car is a necessity in this area, as public transport is quite scarce. Cycling is popular in the area but you will need to be keen and fit as there are a lot of hills! We ask that you would treat our property as well or better than your own and expect our guests to be quiet, well-behaved, and environmentally aware of our sustainable and very quiet rural lifestyle. Please note this is NOT a 'party' site. We are designated 'Land for Wildlife' and so most suited to those who seek peace and quiet. Owing to the terrain, this property is not suitable for children, but adults are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens. Very sorry but this site is not suitable for those who have to make use of a wheelchair. Campfires are allowed in the fire braziers provided. BYO Firewood. To protect the abundant wildlife we also have to have a no pets policy. Please note there is a 50-metre uphill incline of 15 degrees to access the site. We look forward to meeting you soon :)

The secluded bush retreat is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Our goal is to offer you a delightful experience you will remember forever. Relax & enjoy our very special, secluded location providing a unique experience in a striking natural Australian environment. With stunning views & abundant wildlife, it’s hard to believe you are only 30 minutes from the Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Undulating hills in the remnants of the Mount Warning Wollumbin super-volcano give this area a unique revitalising feel and breath-taking beauty.
