Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a simple, comfortable stay: a queen bed, daybed, hot shower, composting toilet, air conditioning, fridge, toaster, stovetop kettle and cosy living space.
Outside is where you’ll probably spend most of your time — your own private deck, outdoor kitchen, BBQ and wide-open country views. Grab a coffee, crack a beer, read a book, watch the sunset or head down to the local beaches for a surf.
The cabin is surrounded by gardens and plenty of space to breathe. If you’re lucky, our friendly ducks might drop by for a visit. Our goats won’t make an appearance — they’re off doing important weed-management work at a neighbouring property.

It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit.
The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear.
Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. The rainforest Treehouse is situated in a rainforest pocket of the Mount Warning Caldera, completely surrounded by lush and vibrant nature and sheltered from the outside world, while being just 2 minutes away from us and the comfy road that will take you to an amazing swimming hole, cafés and the nearby town.
Once you enter the Treehouse private drive you will feel yourself being transported into a magical world of gently flowing water, natural light, tall trees, chirping birds, rustling leaves, crickets, and frogs.
You will notice the energy shift into the safe embrace of our land, protected by Springbrook Mountain.
The location of the Treehouse was chosen by our then young children. We all fell in love with the magnificent camphor laurel tree growing at the edge of the seasonal creek.
We all found ourselves drawn to that place, so with the help of our friends and our children we began the project of manifesting a dream into a reality - the dream of living in the tree canopy.
As we worked on the Treehouse, the design was constantly changing. The whole family, especially our youngest son, contributed to the manifestation of the dream. During that time we overcame many obstacles and found solutions to build in the tree. It was an adventure, a lot of fun and we learnt a lot.
It became a dwelling for our kids for a period of time, until they grew up and left to conquer the big wide world.
Now it is here for you to enjoy, to reconnect with your dreams, to dive deep into your childhood playful memories where the world of fantasy and reality merge together.

There is an an outdoor undercover space including a kitchenette area, BBQ, sink, fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave, cutlery/crockery. Please note there is no oven or cooktop, only a BBQ.
Important information: Linen not provided. In each dome there is a queen and king single bed. All linen needs to be bought with you. Pillows, towels, doona, bed linen & towels.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a "glamping" experience so insects and nature is a part of the experience. The dome tents are set on a concrete slab which is regularly sprayed however insects will still be around as the tents are set in the middle of the paddock so please be mindful of this.
This property uses Solar Power (not connected to the grid) so please be aware of energy usage. All lights and general appliances are low energy and remain suitable for use over an extended sunless/cloudy period. If you drain the solar you will lose power and hot water.
There are 2 portable fans inside the domes for hot days. To reduce the impact on hot days the small dome has a rooftop curtain that should remain closed along with the front window curtains to keep the domes cooler.
Please be aware the driveway to the domes is not sealed. It is a gravel driveway. In the rain it may be slippery. If your car is not suitable for gravel inclines park at the top of the driveway.
There is a farmhouse on the property. It is diagonally opposite at the end of a separate road and can be booked separately through airbnb. Please contact us if you would like to book the domes and the farmhouse at the same time.

The road leading down to Rainbow Mountain Healing Sanctuary is rough and uneven, and the causeway is particularly narrow with no guardrails. Please drive slowly, take extra care, and assess the conditions before crossing.
If you are bringing a large caravan, motorhome, or RV, we strongly recommend stopping before the causeway and inspecting the crossing on foot before proceeding. Please consider the size and manoeuvrability of your vehicle before attempting to cross.

You'll feel like you're a million miles from nowhere but minutes from everything; we are just 10 minutes to the eclectic city of Lismore, the Northern Rivers Rail Trail, and just 40 minutes to Byron Bay! Our campground is on my family’s dairy farm that has been in the family since 1904. I’m the 4th generation on the farm and work alongside my parents and my husband operating the family business of milking cows.
The campsite is on a private area of flat ground right beside the Oxley River with views of Mt Warning.
We are excited to share our piece of paradise with others. We DO have a composting toilet but DON’T have any shower facilities.
Although the creek is very close by we advise you bring your own drinking water.
We are pleased to provide a gravelled campfire area along with a gorgeous outdoor setting that seats 8.
Our campground provides a unique private camping opportunity. Once you book whether it is for a group of one or 25 no one else can book the site. The site is not visible from the road. Perfect for a relaxing getaway that brings you close to nature and connecting with friends.
As we are a working farm, unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.

Amorata Eco Farm is a working sustainable farm with basic camping facilities located in Barkers Vale.
We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks.
We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin
National
Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches.
Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem.
A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going.
There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements.
Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates.
Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Welcome to Cedar Waters Regenerative Living Hub, a 52-acre site managed by Grounded Permaculture Action Party Inc.
Grounded is a not-for-profit community org on the mission to regenerate our sacred connection to country, community and culture.
Our creek flat is set up to host guests for camping. It has;
- 2WD accessibility, cars, vans, tents all ok.
- RVs and camper suitable (no power, water, or disposal systems)
- all campsites flat and well-grassed.
- communal camp kitchen with pizza oven, water, and gas cookers available
- compost toilets (no showers)
The pristine waters of Cave Creek flow through the site after falling through the infamous Natural Bridge.
Bordering Springbrook National Park there are plenty of hikes and walks nearby to satisfy exploratory vibes.
Otherwise, you can just sit back and enjoy the beauty, peace and quiet of this little slice of paradise.
We can also offer many optional extras for private group bookings (large tents/marquees, generators, wood-fired hot tub, sauna, guided farm tour, paddock-to-plate produce etc).
The income generated from Hipcamp is used to continue to manage, maintain and regenerate the site.

Weekend Trip to Rainforest Hideaway
We had an amazing time here. Steve was very friendly and responded promptly when we needed him. The caravan was well kept and had everything you might need. Even though the van is parked close to the road, there’s barely any cars passing by. I wish it had a better view when you’re sitting outside but there’s nothing that can be done about that, still you’re surrounded by trees so it was peaceful and plenty of shade. There’s a nice creek/waterfall a few mins drive from the site, definitely a must especially during the warmer months. First time staying in a caravan and we will definitely be back. Thanks Steve!

Weekend Trip to Warning View Campground
We stayed in Lois for a couple of nights and loved our time there. The site was private and the van had everything we needed for a quick and easy get away. Flushing toilet and Hot water shower were a bonus to what is a peaceful piece of country to spend some time away from the city.

Weekend Trip to Trickling Waters Retreat
My husband and I had a magical time at Tricking Waters celebrating our first wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we found a little gift in the fridge for our anniversary which was very thoughtful. We stayed in the glamping tent and loved having a fire every night and falling asleep to the sound of the creek running. We were lucky enough to see fire flies both nights too ✨ highly recommend staying here. The host was very accomodating and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back 💗

So relaxing I didn't want to leave! I spent 2 nights relaxing, walking my dog and listening to the birds calling. Gorgeous area, lovely cafe at the end of the road, all the cooking equipments you'd need and absolutely perfect for dogs. Creek running behind and past the cabin perfect for dogs.

3 nights at "JALUM" Undulating Farmland!
Had a fantastic weekend away at Karen's place. The property is beautiful and so was the room we stayed in - clean, well set up and a great indoor space with fireplace , seating area and kitchen to use. Karen was such a lovely host and really made my birthday weekend special. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway - only 1.5 hours from Brisbane, but feels like you are worlds away. Just down the road from murwillimbah, pottsville and Byron. We did the rail trail via ebike which is just down the road. Will definitely be back.
