Just What The Dr Ordered
Communication prior to the trip was spot on and Peter was there to greet us, take us to theThe Shack and get us settled.
And The Shack was everything we expected, wanted and more. Such an awesome accomodation. So glad we booked.

Rustic beauty!
This was a magical spot to totally switch off and relax in. The view was incredible and the cabin was cozy and beautiful and had everything you need to cook, protect yourself from mozzies, shower and sleep. The bed was very comfortable, so was the hammock and the lounge on the balcony. Laying in the creek was the perfect way to cool down and relax. Peter was nothing but accommodating and helpful bringing our stuff down to the cabin and picking us back up in the morning and showing us everything we needed. It was rustic at its absolute best. We will be back. Thankyou Peter and Tanya.

Loved my stay 🙂 beautiful secluded cabin with a creek a few steps away which was great for a dip in the hot weather.
Please listen to Tania and Peter when they tell you you need a robust 4wd as the track is very muddy and you will get bogged if you don’t have the appropriate gear.
The hosts were super accommodating and lovely. 100% recommend

We absolutely loved our time at the shack! Communication with the hosts was smooth and Peter was very helpful! He helped carry our stuff down to the shack upon check in and back up to our cars on the way back, which we were very grateful for. We spent the evening watching the sunset over the hills and had dinner in the moonlight overlooking the stars. The cows came over in the morning to greet us which was very lovely.
It was a beautiful rustic nature getaway that we all needed and the shack had everything we needed plus more.
Would definitely recommend!

Our time in this rustic shack was amazing!
Being surrounded by nature and having cows at the door step was wonderful.
So nice to escape as someone from the Byron shire and surrounding area.
Peter was a great help for bringing down our days supplies and showing us our way when we were exploring around the dam.
Simple way to enjoy an off grid experience.
Our pup got to watch the scenery change as we had a little drizzle which was welcomed.
Such a great time all in all.
