A Portal for the Soul : situated in the heart of a 23- million- year- old Caldera under the shadow of Mount Warning, Gabrielle's Sacred Retreat awaits. Important Details; This is a Spiritual Retreat and not a party venue. Please party somewhere else. This space is curated For Spiritual Souls, Earth Lovers, and Seekers of Inner Peace, who will Honour the Land and Each Other. This small secluded acreage is situated within the bend of a large creek and hums with a healing energy of renewal and transformation. With views of the mountain and horses grazing, you are surrounded by some remnant and some regenerated subtropical rainforest along the creek frontage. Here nature does more than surround you; it embraces and uplifts, inviting your spirit to align with the rhythms of the Earth, in one of the world's most powerful natural healing sanctuaries. There are a couple of small private swimming holes and walking tracks along the creek where you can stop and sit for some quiet contemplation, where you'll feel natures healing forces at work. Do some forest bathing, meditation, or sit quietly by the creek where you may even spot some local platypus or other native wildlife. We now offer a flush toilet and a Soul- nourishing private indoor shower with a large window overlooking the lush forest and volcanic rim adding nature's calm to your experience. We offer 3 separate powered sites, NOTE: . You will need to have 2 X 20mtr power leads to hook to power though. We have room for large caravans, motorhomes . Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. Weather permitting (no rain) we also have 3 exclusive unpowered sites available in another paddock, closer to the creek. There is no power or water at these sites, and you will need to be self-contained. There is a choice of 4 sites , but only 3 can be booked at any one time. Group bookings catered for By Prior Arrangement Please bring your own fire pit. Note: Telstra Only Mobile service.

Our unpowered paddock sites are closer to the creek, a short walking distance away. There are 3 spacious sites in this paddock area. Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. All campers in this area must be completely self-contained, with their own power, water. You will however still have access to our shower toilet block.

The Upper Camp area has power and water on site in a peaceful quiet location , with flush toilet shower nearby. From here it is a short walk to the rainforest walking tracks along the creek that take you down to the main swimming hole and around the property. The property is also only 3km from our local historical village of Tyalgum with a General Store, excellent Cafe and Hotel, Tennis court and public park and toilets. There are 3 spacious sites in this area. Please note, one vehicle/caravan per site. If you have multiple vehicles/caravans, you will need to book multiple sites. We kindly ask you take all waste when you leave.

Awesome area to camp in the shadow of Mount Warning A place for total relaxation amongst beautiful fields surrounded by great swimming holes. Brianna is a fabulous host with local knowledge to share and special areas to visit on the property and in town. Camping facilities including bathroom with a view make the stay so enjoyable. Can’t wait to organise a repeat visit. Thanks Brianna for being such a fabulous host

What a gem of a Hipcamp. This is a must place to stay, offering both powered and unpowered sites. Brianna was amazing explaining walks, swimming areas & general information on the village within 5 minute drive. The shower & toilet block were immaculate. The surrounding hills with view of Mt Warning were beautiful, if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect spot. Thank you for a beautiful stay, will definitely be back.

This was such a beautiful location. Bri was so helpful when we arrived and were struggling to get the annex up in the dark. They patiently instructed the kids while I ran around looking for tent pegs and hammers. I was so grateful. They took time out of what they wanted to be doing to ensure we were set up and comfortable. Bri also took us for a walk around the campsite and told us about the area. I saw the platypus, talked to the horses, waded in the river and just sat and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I'm super keen to visit again when we have more time to just enjoy the campground and explore the area. Thank you!

We had a very relaxing time next to the creek. The grounds were immaculate; to spend time around creek banks that have been intricately regenerated with indigenous plants over a 20 yr period was a real treat; and Bree was a great host to boot. We’d love to come back.

Wow! what a lovely campground when we arrived. Bree met us as we came in as she sent very easy instructions to follow. It was a beautiful spot. Bree shared information about the campsite which helped us navigate ourselves around. It was just beautiful. Highly recommend we will be back.

Nestled within immaculate grounds, this haven also offers a clean amenity block, ensuring comfort amidst tranquillity. Brie, the host, is a radiant presence who showed us all the walking tracks, platypus site area & swimming holes which made the experience unforgettable If you're looking to recharge and reconnect, this place is pure magic. It's also pet friendly, so your furry companions are welcome to share in the serenity. We will be definitely returning in early 2026

The amenities were great. They have worked hard to make it a peaceful place to relax and enjoy. Was a fantastic place for our puppies to enjoy the creek and make friends with the other puppies. Don't forget to bring apples to share with the horses.

Great spot we were greeted with a smile and the camp area was clean and quiet. Creek is amazing perfect for a dip and float. Kids and dog loved it. Bathroom was clean.

We loved this place - a beautiful creek for swimming and big private sites. Brianna is so welcoming and helpful - starting with a lovely walk around the property to help to choose a spot. Highly recommend!

Beautiful creeks which our dog loved. Once it warms up I would go in. Lots of flat grassed areas. Horses are a bonus. We were lucky to have a fire fly show one night. No one else there for most of the week, still plenty of room. Bit of road noise but does not disturb your sleep. Our host Brianna was great, very helpful.

It was a fabulous couple of days. Thank you Brianna and Gabrielle. We got to see the resident platypus! Just amazing! We also enjoyed a lemon myrtle tea, with freshly picked lemon myrtle leaves, from the trees growing on the property. Thanks Heap!

We really enjoyed our stay at Garielles Sacred Retreat our host Brianna was very friendly and lovely to talk to and at hand should you need anything. The campsite area is clean and mowed grass areas surrounded by trees with a lovely creek that flows -would be lovely in summer to go for a swim. Apparently there are platypuses but we were not lucky to see them, maybe next time . They offer one shower and toilet it was clean and the water was lovely and hot. There are only 6 sites so it would never be crowded and having power was excellent. You can choose where you wanted to set up which was also a plus. We would recommend this place for anyone wanting to relax and enjoy nature. It is close to the quaint little town of Tyalgum which has lovely little shops, coffee shop, hotel, general store and a superb bakery that has the best Olive sourdough bread we have eaten, highly recommended. The only downfall was that they only bake on the weekends. We will definitely be going again in the near future

Brianna was waiting for us on arrival and walked around the campground with my husband pointing out the pros and cons of each site. Once we picked ours, she helped us park in the best position. Brianna was very knowledgeable of the surrounding environment and sharing ways to enjoy it. Unfortunately the weather didn’t play fair but we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return. Our dog was introduced to the property dogs and welcomed as one of the gang. The toilet and shower were clean and easily accessible. And the lawns were well maintained. Another positive, the property is quite secluded so the peace and quiet was lovely.

We absolutely loved the atmosphere—the friendly people, the rich history, and the support whenever we needed it. We're coming back with the girls to unwind it all in again: dancing under the stars by the fire pit, exploring the stunning mountain landscape, trekking along the creek, and stargazing into the night. It's the perfect escape.
