Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Get away from it all with total off grid privacy and a view to die for. Top Of The World Camp is just that. Set on flat grassy ground on the top hill at the back of a 300 ache cattle farm, this site is totally private with panoramic views of Mt Warning (Woolumbin) and the Caldera. The stars are brighter out here and many mornings finds you waking up above the clouds. Please note the bush road in is quiet easy and smooth, however requires a 4WD (Or AWD in dry weather) to be on the safe side. There are also great walking tracks directly from the camp through lush bush and adjoining national park. Just 800 meters from Clarrie Hall Dam, spend your days picnicking and paddling amongst the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian Bass for a fun day's fishing. Take a 5 minute drive to Uki a township where you will find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets and a host of alternative/natural therapy practitioners. You'll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour. Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail - 24km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges and original train tunnels. Firepit, private. There is a fire pit at your camp. There are also $20 (20kg) bags of firewood at the site with an honesty box. If you have pre-purchased any they will be there.
