Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Get away from it all with total off-grid privacy and a view to die for. Top of the World Camp is just that. Set on flat, grassy ground atop a hill at the back of a 300-acre cattle farm, this site is completely private and offers panoramic views of Mt Warning (Wollumbin) and the Caldera. The stars are brighter out here, and many mornings find you waking up above the clouds. Please note that the bush road in is quite easy and smooth; however, a 4WD is required to be on the safe side. An AWD may be suitable in dry weather. There are also great walking tracks directly from the camp through lush bushland and the adjoining national park. Just 800 metres from Clarrie Hall Dam, you can spend your days picnicking and paddling among the stunning scenery. The dam is stocked with Australian bass for a fun day of fishing. Take a 5-minute drive to Uki, a township where you’ll find an abundance of arts and crafts, weekend markets, and a range of alternative and natural therapy practitioners. You’ll reach the larger town of Murwillumbah in just 15 minutes and the famous Byron Bay in under an hour. Explore the nearby Northern Rivers Rail Trail—24 km of trail through working farms, lush rainforest, wide bridges, and original train tunnels. Absolutely Beautiful Campsite

What an incredible place to camp! The views are absolutely breathtaking, especially around sunrise and sunset when the mountains look even more spectacular. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily come back again. Highly recommend this campsite for anyone who loves peaceful camping, beautiful views and a proper outdoor experience!

Great spot. Gorgeous view and private. You definitely need 4WD. Also you may be sharing the campsite with some cows.
