We have a whole beautiful valley with crystal clear spring-fed creeks, patches of rain forest and hillsides covered in grass-trees backing onto Wrattens State Forest. There's 1,375 acres of land - the boundaries of our property are the ridges of the mountains that encircle us, and many rare species abound here. This is a dog and horse friendly property but no pets allowed in the cabin. There is paralysis tick in this region - so we'd recommend treating any animal before you come and frequent checks while you're here. No mobile phone coverage at the cabin, but there is a hill you can drive (or walk) up on the property to get phone signal if needed and we have a landline phone in our house which can be used in emergencies.

The cabin is fully contained with all that you need for a comfortable stay looking out over spectacular scenery. It sits nestled in between undulating hills of lush green grass, perched on the edge of a dam filled with water lillies. The spring fed dam attracts the local wildlife and our farm cows visit daily. Our new sunset BBQ area is almost finished, where you’ll be able to make delicious meals. Heart and Soul will not disappoint - a lot of time, thought and love has gone into creating your dream getaway. No pets please.

Lee Farmstay was born in 2005, when the dairy and beef industries proved challengingand it was decided it would be a good decision to start up a farmstay because it would be a good idea to have a stable income and get city people to experience life on the farm." There are many ways to spend your time during your stay with us. Go for a stroll or cycle around the farm, try to catch a fish in the dam (you'll need to bring your own fishing supplies), play with and feed the animals or play board games. We have a sauna to sweat out the toxins and stress of city living. We also have a trampoline and swing set for children or the young at heart. Finally, end your day with a mouthwatering BBQ and toasting marshmallows around the fire while you gaze up at the stars! Our accommodation is ideal for those wanting to escape the hussle and bussle of city living, for families (especially those with small children who'd love to spend time with farm animals), romantic weekend getaways, groups or clubs (including business and family/friends) and those simply passing through the area. And of course, we're pet friendly! We offer a large Queenslander home and 4 cottages, all built with comfort and convenience in mind. Our farm is home to a wide variety of friendly animals. There are goats, alpacas, chooks, sheep, miniature horses, guinea pigs, birds, peacocks, dogs, cats, cows, turkeys and ducks! You're able to join us in feeding the animals at approximately 8am and 4pm; this is a particularly special experience for children of all ages! You're also welcome to take part in other farm activities when they occur, including collecting chicken eggs in the afternoon!

We had a special time with family and friends occupying cabins and sleeping in tents.. Kept discovering lovely nooks by the creek. A couple of us were brave enough to swim in the cool water. Stars were amazing and even a rainbow. Jimmy helped us discover more of the 90 acres and pointed out a few things to see and enjoy. Two nights was not long enough.

3 nights at Heart and Soul

This place is truly spectacular. It was so cosy and utterly peaceful. We spent 3 nights here and loved every moment. We enjoyed warm nights with the lovely indoor fire and beautiful mornings having breakfast on the deck. We were lucky to get one full day of great weather and decided to spend the whole day just chilling on the deck and floating around the dam on a paddle board. Absolutely everything you need is provided, including plenty of fire wood for inside and outside.

This was a divine little space! It's a perfect, birdsong rich, environmentally savvy space. The experienc sits neatly between creature comforts and being self sufficient, which is rather how we enjoy our holidays. Sandra has catered just about for everything you could need for the space, we just happened to bring along our own head torches which came in handy for cooking in the dark a bit more hands free 🤌🤌 Sandra and her family have created a beautiful niche for a nice getaway. Her and her family's hospitality is wonderful. Thank you again!

Lovely long weekend stay. Great spot! Private. Lots of trees. Visiting horses. Big fire pit. Very useful covered seating area! You do have to have the ability to walk back up the steep hill if you want to go down to the creek. Or drive. Definitely need a 4x4. The creek is small but lovely. One tip…. Don’t leave food out on benches or on the floor of the cabin or you will find little nibbles. No great bother though.. Thanks for sharing your property!! Vey nice.

What a fantastic stay!! Perfect place to tap out and disconnect. Plenty of space and privacy. The creek is a great place to cool off. Cabins have all the essentials you require. The fire pit was an evening delight. Jimmy is a great host who is very responsive and accommodating. I will definitely be back for more R & R.
