Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloo's located at all camp sites except for the Junction and you MUST be self-contained due to the remote location. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). There are Portaloo's located at all camp sites except for the Junction and you MUST be self-contained due to the remote location. Caravans or motor homes are not permitted due to the steep terrain. Welcome to our beautiful campground, nestled along a 450m stretch of the picturesque Mary River! Our campground offers a long stretch of flat land, making it an ideal destination for both large and small groups of campers. With plenty of shaded sites available, you can relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings while staying cool and comfortable. There's also ample space for recreational activities like cricket, footy, flying kites, or leisurely walks. The property is filled with the delightful sounds of nature, from wallabies to a variety of birds, with the charming chime of the Bell Bird and laugh of the Kookaburra resonating through the trees. Positioned near the river's origin in the hinterland, the river is a habitat for the platypus, Mary River Cod, and other native animals, including the critically endangered White-throated Snapping Turtle. One of the highlights of our campground is its proximity to the river. You'll have easy access to one of two river access tracks, just a short stroll away. As you approach the river, you'll be greeted by the soothing shade provided by the surrounding trees. The river itself offers a diverse range of experiences, from calm and shallow areas perfect for kids to play safely, to exciting rapids and refreshing rock pools for adventurers of all ages, with water depth varying depending on seasonal conditions. For those who love water activities, our campground offers a fantastic opportunity for kayaking along the river. Explore the winding waterways, immerse yourself in nature, and discover the hidden gems that the river has to offer. It's an experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and connected to the great outdoors. As an added bonus, our working farm is home to delightful pygmy goats that freely roam the property or can be found in their enclosure. Other Things to Note Access to the property involves crossing a dip and a causeway . This track is almost always accessible by 2WD. Contact us regarding crossing conditions before your stay during wet weather. Toilet facilities are not available and bush toilets are NOT permitted. Campers must bring their own camping toilets and take all waste when they go. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF YOUR CONTAINERS/TOILET FACILITIES PLKEASE MESSAGE US FOR CONFORMATION. A BUCKET IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS IT CAN BE BLOWN OVER SPILLING CONTENTS. Campfires are permitted in designated fire pits, based on weather conditions. Firewood is available for $15.per bag this is in the shade shelter with the fire pits if there isn't one at your site. We would appreciate if you could return your bags pls. Generators are permitted, we ask that these are turned off by 8pm for the comfort of other guests and our neighbours across the river.

We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. The property offers 80 powered sites and 100 unpowered sites, at various locations around the property, some closer to the creek-line than others. All sites are ideal for pulling up stumps for a few days or more, enjoying the stunning, peaceful property and exploring the wider area. All campers have access the the amenities blocks (hot showers and flushing toilets!), located a couple of hundred metres from camp, depending where you set up, as well as a dump point for those who are self-contained. At this time, whilst campfires are permitted, you must bring your own firepit/brazier or similar and it must be elevated from the ground. Firewood BYO. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead - we have many horses around! Sites will be allocated on arrival in discussion with you, based on your set up.

Absolutely loved our stay at WoopWoop! This was the first camping trip for the two of us without any “camping expert friends,” and WoopWoop turned out to be the perfect choice. I chose this campsite for its location and amenities, and I have zero regrets — we’re already looking forward to coming back, and I highly recommend it to others. The site and facilities were exceptionally clean and very well maintained by Peter & Doris, who welcomed us with genuine warmth. We added firewood to our booking and Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by the great quality of it. Plus, the little bit of 4WD driving required to enter the site added an extra layer of fun to the experience! If this was in middle of year, I would already made another booking :) 10/10!!

Loved camping at the ‘Stones throw’ site at Yabba creek! It had great access to the water for swimming and the creek was a lovely peaceful place to go out kayaking (kayaks provided). The whole property was beautiful and we loved how private our site was from the rest of the farm. Lovely place for the dog to run around and Kaylea and dean were very friendly and checked in on us after storms, they also made sure to let us know about all the walking paths and facilities around which was very helpful. No bins or showers but the site had a hose and the town just five mins up the road had plenty of skip bins available.

The best thing is it’s an absolutely banging spot!! The flat ground near the river allows you to setup camp close by the water and cook on the Barby within a long jump of the water. We caught eel catfish, longfin eel and bass right next to camp 3. The only negative is lack of amenities for the money. A long drop or non-potable tap on the high ground would be absolutely amazing. Each camp site in the lower area has their own fire pit with a metal ring that heats up over 30-60 mins. You can stick a rotisserie over the top and bang out a roast lamb!! Overall I loved the spot!

We had a huge area to ourselves, so very private. We were able to let our dog roam. It was very peaceful. In the evening the cicadas did a Mexican wave 😂 We could have swam in the lake but I wasn’t brave enough, other campers did and it sounded as though they had a ball. Good place to bring a kayak or canoe. The compost toilet was as expected but not too horrible. Lime is used to keep the flies away.

The Cooke Family welcomes you to “Hopevale”. A beautiful 113 acre property bordered by Wrattens National Park at the edge of the world in the peaceful Widgee district of greater Gympie. Jason, a landscaper by trade, and Jacinta a teacher by profession, met many years ago at a national Christian youth conference. Four beautiful children later and many years down the track, they bought Hopevale as a blank cattle fattening property in 2018. After much hard work, they have made it what it is today, with plans to continually improve. We have different camp options available, one of which is set up for those guests also wanting to stay with horses or just have a larger group booking. Guests will have access to a toilet and shower throughout their stay which is within walking distance from each of the campsites. Campfires and pets are welcome. The property has only had 4 farming owners in its 110 odd years since it was first surveyed and selected in 1915. The Hillcoats, Bishops, Cotters, and now the Cooke’s. The families over the years have used the property for timber getting, dairy, beef and small cropping. The property is geologically rich with volcanic soils, sandstone escarpments full of caves and overhangs. The mighty Wrattens Falls sits to the back of the property in the National Park and is a sight to behold in full flow. It feeds the head waters of the western branch of Widgee Creek which meanders through the property. The subtropical dry rainforest clad mountains are dominated by the majestic Bunya and Hoop pines and are a testament to what once was covering the entire property before being cleared for farming. Remnant riparian creek lines are botanically rich and diverse holding Red and White Cedar, Teak, Silky oak and many other coveted timber trees harvested back in the day. There are many species of animals and birds that call Hopevale home. From water dragons, frogs and fish in the creeks, monitors, wallabies, deer, koalas, possums and phascogales in the eucalypts. Red-back wrens, pardalotes, rainbow bee-eaters, finches and quail call the open grasses home while whip birds give their iconic call in the forest. Above, birds of prey ride the thermals of the valley looking for their next meal. “We have been blessed beyond measure with a small slice of God’s wonderful creation that we would love to share with you.”

If you have a camper trailer it needs to be off-road/high clearance and you need to be experienced in towing off road. No caravans or Hybrids sorry, too steep and tight. Sites 1-3 are large level pads approx. 12M by 12M, each with their own fire pit and log seat. Site 4 is perched on the side of the hill and 6M by 6M in size. Suitable for vehicle based campers/swags/small tents with a sense of adventure and best with max 2 people. We have a backup spot if access is too difficult. Pets (on leash) are welcome, please ensure you pick up after them. Kids (15 and under) are free and are not counted in the maximum number of guests. Firewood is sold at the check-in via an honesty box. $20 per bag (22kgs approx.) Travel down the gravel road for about half 900m and pop out through a tree tunnel to a secluded 2 acre cleared grass paddock where the toilet & sites 1-3 are situated. Site 4 is on top of a small hill separate to the main camping area. Site 5 is in its own cleared paddock, looking out to bush. Site 1 is in shade in winter and partial sun in summer. Site 2 is in shade in the morning and afternoon sun all seasons. Site 3 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. Site 4 is in morning sun and shade in the afternoon all seasons. A seasonal creek runs through the property. We are located 3 minutes from Montville and 7 min to Palmwoods. There's plenty to explore in the area with short drives to the many attractions including National Parks, Glass House Mountains, the famous Rick's Garage Diner, wineries, micro breweries and more. Go fishing at Baroon Pocket Dam and have a swim at Obi Obi Creek or Kondalilla Falls or Gardeners Falls. If you're after some saltwater it's a 30 min drive to most beaches on the coast.

They are about a one-hour drive south of the Sunshine Coast's main hub, Noosa, or an hour north of the state's capital city, Brisbane. The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads. Please note there is highway noise at this site. Campers must take their rubbish with them.

Our site is located just 5 minutes away from Toogoolawah Town and is situated on 40 acres of beautiful and lush bushland. Multiple sites are available, all of which follow alongside a picturesque creek that runs throughout the property. We offer a spacious and flat grassy area to park your van after a long day of driving. Our campsite is ideal for those who wish to enjoy the quiet and tranquil surroundings while taking in a beautiful sunset, surrounded by an abundance of birdlife. Town is a short 5 minute drive with an IGA, Pub, Cafe, Service Station, Water Station and Dump site. Access to Brisbane Valley Rail Trail and only a short drive to Somerset Dam. Greens Creek Country Stay is located just 12 minutes from Gympie Centro, 5 minutes from the new highway bypass, 48 minutes from Rainbow Beach, and 56 minutes from Noosa’s Hastings Street. There are two gate openings to navigate through to reach the camping paddock — 2 4.2m gate openings (both pictured in the photos). The property does not provide any facilities, so campers must be self-sufficient and take all waste with them. The entire property is 7 acres, and the paddock available for camping offers beautiful sunset views. It’s a large grassy area fully dog fenced surrounded on two sides by dairy farms — the cows often come up to the fence in the afternoons to say hello! The other two sides border our horse paddock and a paddock with cows, sheep, and goats. There is a photo showing the layout of sites 1–5 and directions to the camping paddock. We have several friendly animals on the property. Please do not feed them any scraps. You may meet our horse, Nulla (he loves carrots!), and our cattle: Molly, King Harold, Queen Annie, Sparkles, and Flossy. Note: animals may not always be on the property — if this is the reason for your visit, please message me beforehand to confirm. Animal feeding can sometimes be arranged for guests; please message me after booking to check availability. Smoking is allowed on the property, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly — we ask that no trace is left behind for the safety of our animals, wildlife, and future campers. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. If a dog is seen off-leash, you may be asked to leave for the safety of our animals. Please pick up after your pet. Paralysis ticks are common in this area, so ensure your dog is treated before arrival. Quiet time is after 10 p.m. — please be respectful of neighbours and other campers. Family group bookings are welcome. For stays longer than 7 days, feel free to message me to discuss extended options. Fire pits are supplied (one per site). Firewood will be supplied for free until notified otherwise. Fires are permitted unless a fire ban is in place. If there has been significant rainfall, the paddock may only be accessible by 4WD. We’re new to hosting, so any suggestions or feedback are always welcome!
