Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Please still add them to your booking so we can monitor numbers, they will not be charged. Over Christmas, Coorie Vale is a great spot to base yourself for the Woodford Folk Festival (15-minute drive).

Sites 1 to 4 are located down on the creek which needs 4WD access to get to. You can however park a normal car at the top of the property and walk down to the camping area. The creek area has a picnic table that seats 10 people, and a nearby toilet block with 2 compost toilets and a water tank. There is also a fire pit set up in this area. A small bundle of firewood is provided for you. If you anticipate you will need more firewood, please purchase via Extras when booking. We accept tent and camper trailers, but no caravans or motorhomes. Please note that in periods of heavy rain, access to the creek sites may become muddy and difficult. If this occurs during your stay, we’ll provide an alternative camping area on the property that’s equally lovely, just set a little further back from the creek.

Located at the top of the hill this site is secluded from the creek sites and is short walk to the toilet block. There is a fire pit set up in this area with firewood. The Paddock site is closer to the front of the property and has easier access for campers that are not confident with their 4WDs or have larger Camper trailers. It has views across our property and views out to the Sunshine Coast. Located at the top of the hill this site is private and is a short walk to our farm shed. There is a fire pit set up in this area. A small bundle of firewood is provided for you. If you anticipate you will need more firewood, please purchase via Extras when booking. This site is suitable for tent and camper trailers only - no caravans. Campers must have a 4WD although parking for 2WD's is a short walk from this site.

Tony’s place was absolutely magical. Tony was incredibly accommodating and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. The campsite itself was stunning, with beautiful views and such a peaceful atmosphere, and we loved the little touch of offering carrots to feed the horses. It was also amazing to find such a dog-friendly property, which made the whole experience even better for us. We honestly could not recommend Tony’s place any higher and can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here for one night, it was absolutely lovely. The host, Tony was exceptional, it is very clear he cares and makes sure everyone has a wonderful stay. He communicated that the tracks would be quite muddy and difficult to drive on, but he offered support and effortlessly helped us the entire time. We stayed at the Creek section of the camp. It was a beautiful area of land, surrounded by a gorgeous creek, a waterfall, cows, and plenty of privacy. Excellent stay, would definitely recommend!

Great view from ridge site with privacy from other camp sites. A short walk to an amazing waterfall on the property. Camper trailer was a little akward on ridge site getting it back out but Tony was so helpful and easy going so it wasn't an issue getting out with his help . Also had a fair bit of rain over my stay so Tony was more than happy to give me a tow out with his side by side buggy.

We love loved it at Tony's place "the creek" it was beautifully looked after and the scenery was also. We give it a 10 out of 10, thanks Tony for being so helpful with everything. If there was anything that could be fixed, I would suggest that the toilets had a pull handle on the inside of the doors because I kind of got stuck in one of them but my husband was there to help pull the outside handle

This place is magic. We can’t wait to return. Perfect one nighter to decompress after the work week. Sit back, enjoy the view and get the fire pit cranked. Highly recommend

Such a gorgeous property and great owners. Camping next to the creek and having the sound of water was divine. We unfortunately had a bit of rain that made the drive out a little hard. Tony was very helpful in every way. Looking forward to heading back in finer weather.

Tony was very responsive and accommodating. The property is beautiful. We stayed down on one of the creek-side sites and being right next to the babbling water was lovely - plenty of rock hopping and exploring to do. The drop toilets were well kept and close enough but not too close. Sunset up on the ridge was spectacular. We were glad we took our smaller tents as our side wasn’t really flat enough for our big one. Having use of the big timber table and some bench seats made us much more comfortable. We would definitely return!
