Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek, west of The Junction carpark above the camp site to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Off-road camper trailers are suitable for some campsites (max weight 1500kg and max length 5m restrictions apply). Caravans are not permitted due to the steep terrain. A Portaloo is within walking distance to The Knoll, Upper Plateau, Valley View and Little Bunya campsites, otherwise your camp MUST be self-contained. Riverdell is dog friendly, off leash if trained, and recommend tick treatment before arrival. For safety, no arrivals after dark unless arranged prior.

Maleny - The Knoll
The view is very beautiful but we went when we have inclement weather. It's windy and broke our gazebo. Will be back when weather is not the same for sure. Thanks for having us.

Maleny - The Junction
The Junction - best camp site ever
It’s hard to do justice to this camp site (the junction) with words or even photos. It’s so private that you can’t see or hear other people from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. The creeks (yes there’s two) and forest are so prestine that you forget that you’re on a farm. It’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind and explore. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond and keep the place well maintained. It’s also a short drive from both Montville and Maleny. Highly recommend.

Maleny - Little Bunya
Even with a rain and windy forecast, it makes for a stunning place to camp. The constant change in scenery is stunning with clouds forming at your feet and rays of the sunrise shining through the clouds on to the hills. Been here before and i will be back again.

Maleny - Valley View
The Valley View was a nice spot to camp at with beautiful views, even with some wet weather. The spot felt pretty private and quiet which was nice. The whole stay was easily explained and setup. Carolyn was friendly and easy to contact.

Maleny - Valley View
Awesome location, easy to find. The camping spots are very well spread apart so it feels private. The property is very well kept, we will definitely be back
