Damview Campsite
Our time there was relaxing and peaceful. Had the place to ourselves.
Picked a spot near the dam and had a great couple of days. Went for a walk and came across a few deer.
You get what you pay for. Close to the Linville Pub and you can easily access to the toilets at the free camp. We were the only ones camping so nice and private with the cows. But it’s not the flattest camp and lots of cow pats! But nice view across the little dam to the forest.
One of the best camps I’ve been too! The host is lovely and The views here are amazing! So so much chunks of red hard wood around to burn. I stayed 5 days and it was unreal! Waking up with deer and a massive buck with big antlers! Cows, birds and Roos list goes on! Definitely need a 4wd to get into good spots but definitely can still take a high car that’s 2wd if your carful. In town walking distance is hot showers $2 and flushing toilets. I was fully self sufficient so no issues here but I found that pretty handy.
Amazing place to stay, We will definitely be back. It’s a great place to get away and unwind while you take in the scenery. It is also a short walk to the pub for good meal and a cold beer

Damview Campsite
Great spot with heaps of space, close to rail trail and pup, would highly recommend.
If you are looking for a camp where you can spread out and enjoy the peace and quiet this is the perfect Linville camping spot. We loved the location, a quick walk to the Linville pub and the local store which does great hot chocolates. Also the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is a quick walk away so definitely bring your bikes to explore and check out the local handmade shop at the old Linville station for a magnet keepsake of your visit. It's a perfect spot for stargazing and we had the local deer visit a couple of mornings along with several birds and the farm cows. We would definitely come back to escape the daily grind and enjoy the pretty little town of Linville. Very glad to be the first hipcampers at this site.
