Heart and Soul was everything we wanted in a holiday and more- privacy, everything we needed in one place and beautiful views. The cabin is a stunning little australian house right on the dam, with beautiful veiws out of every window. The fireplace inside kept the house warm and the fire pit outside kept us entertained for hours.
We will definitely be going back here again and recommend to anyone looking for a private country getaway.

Beautiful off grid cabin in the middle of farmland with no neighbours in site. Great fauna activity in the dam. Firewood supplied for the firepit and indoor fireplace. Kitchen very well equipped with all the basics.

We really enjoyed our stay at Heart and Soul. Very relaxing and peaceful. Everything you need is provided for your stay. Parts of the driveway are very steep but we managed it in a standard 2wd hatchback so I'm sure most vehicles will make it.

Lovely spot tucked away in the hills, very private and fully self contained. Plenty of wildlife too, with very friendly turtles that like to hang around the outdoor area.

Beautiful spot with good amenities.
My only advice is to check the weather for heatwaves and stock up on ice and cold drinks if it's hot. Although there's a big fan and it's very shady and cool, it can get hot during the day and there's no aircon.
Nina (the host) is lovely and easy to liaise with. I had no problems at all during our stay.
I look forward to coming back.

We stayed here for three nights to stay out of the rain. What an amazing location- super private, good facilities and amazing wildlife to accompany us. Nina is very responsive and helpful with questions! It’s a beautiful drive to Noosa and surrounding towns! Highly recommend for couples wanting to get away.

The wife and I stayed for 2 nights for our wedding anniversary. It was just what we needed after a hectic year…away from suburbia and the daily grind, to rolling green hills and watching the cows graze as we awoke on sunrise. Thanks to Jack and Nina who were amazing hosts and only too happy to help when needed. Highly recommend!

Heart and soul was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, equip with everything we needed for a weekend getaway. My partner and I stayed for a long weekend and despite some initial bad weather, the place was so comfy and cozy, beautifully furnished. Nina was so kind and easy to communicate to. She was flexible with our stay and our needs. 100% would recommend if you’re looking for a picturesque time away

This is a beautiful and private retreat, not anther soul in site. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Perfect place for a romantic getaway. We would definitely recommend a stay here and will be back.

What a lovely cabin and breathtaking views. Cabin had everything we needed and the cows and camels visiting all day long meant we were always entertained. Nina the host is very helpful and was always responsive when we needed her.

Their cabin beside a dam is a perfect few day getaway. Nice and secluded, no reception if you are with Optus, but that makes it better if you don't want to be disturbed.
It is a small drive out of Gympie, so make sure you have your food and drink ready. Saying that, the cooking facilities is more than enough to cook for 2 people.
We had a lovely stay and would stay there again.

Nina’s place was immaculate! We got there in the middle of a thunderstorm but that did not ruin the experience, if anything it makes cozying up by the fireplace all the better!

The accommodation was amazing! Clean, tidy and well equipped. Loved how it was all eco friendly. The location is perfect and so secluded. Planning to come back in the summer! The cows and camels were so adorable and came by for a visit most days

Stayed here for my partners birthday and we both absolutely loved it, such a beautifully created place.
We both found it super relaxing and recharging. Everything is there and ready for you to enjoy your stay.

I loved staying at Heart & Soul, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to escape for a peaceful time. Driving in, it feels like entering a whole new world; wonderful views, plenty of entertainment, and a peaceful vibe awaits you. Initially, I was sceptical of going away in a remote cabin in winter, but thankfully, it exceeded my expectations with a warm and cosy lodge that never felt unwelcome. The host, Nina, has set up a wonderful environment for anyone to enjoy. I plan on going back to Heart & Soul as soon as possible.

We had a lovely stay, the facilities were clean and everything was well maintained. The views we spectacular and the wild life was great to watch. We loved feeding the turtles and watching the camels walk by.
Heart and Soul will always have a special place in our hearts, as it was also where my partner proposed - we will definitely be back!

Words and pictures are not doing Heart & Soul justice, you have to come and experience this place for yourself. It’s a secluded haven that allows you to be in sync with nature.
The cabin is warm and cosy, beautifully furnished and created with a lot of attention to detail. There are places to sit and get comfy everywhere and the surrounding hills look different from every angle. Take time to look into the pond, you’ll be surprised at what you’ll see.
It was spotless clean when we arrived and we felt instantly at home. Being off grid was no problem at all during our 3-night stay and I really enjoyed being able to test a composting toilet. Bathroom and kitchen are well-equipped, I especially appreciated the hair dryer.

The photos don’t do this place justice! I came across Heart and Soul by chance and boy am I glad we did! My partner and I came here for our baby moon and it exceeded expectations. You are completely off grid and immersed in nature.
I can’t wait to come back and enjoy it again, a true hidden gem!

Heart & Soul was an incredible stay. The owners provided everything you need, plus some extras like marshmallows for roasting.
The property & location is unbeatable; pure tranquility.
The wildlife made it extra comforting - cow visits, turtles, plus we got to meet some camels 🐪 which was unexpected but the best surprise!!

The hosts have created a wonderful little getaway that’s not like any other. From the moment you pull in to the gates the peaceful serenity of the cottage will guarantee you true peace. We were welcomed by the cows roaming the property for breakfast, and the turtles in the dam came up to say hello and ask for a feed. All the essentials you need are provided, just bring along what you’d like to eat and you’ll have a great time. Many thanks to the hosts, will surely come back again.

Great place for a getaway away from civilisation. All you need is in the cabin, they really thought of everything. Great wildlife watching and relaxing by the fire and the deck overlooking the dam and the surrounding hills! Highly recommended!

My husband and I booked into Heart & Soul to celebrate our 20yr anniversary together. It was the perfect little spot to get away. The cabin is hand crafted and juts out over a picturesque dam (which we had a swim in). There are no other properties around, so it felt really secluded. Lots to do close by, so it’s perfect for anyone wanting to see the area. Or you could just lay back, relax and enjoy your little piece of paradise.
Thank you Nina for being a wonderful host and even going above and beyond and leaving us a special treat to help celebrate our anniversary.

Heart & Soul is heaven on earth. We loved the feeling of peace and serenity with no visible properties as far as you can see in each direction. Being off grid does not mean you go without any comforts. We appreciated the thought of the marshmallows and coffee and fresh oranges for juicing with breakfast. The indoor fireplace was cosy and the fire pit was a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Morning sounds from the cows at the dam, the birds and ducks all let you know exactly where you were. Yoga on the deck with a quick dip in the dam was a brilliant way to start the day. Nina was the perfect host and we recommend her lovely cabin very highly, we will be booking again for sure.
