We are located in the hills of Cedar Pocket, just 20 minutes drive from Gympie where you can pick up your meal ingredients and other supplies. From here it’s an hour’s drive to Rainbow Beach and there are many local attractions only a short drive away. Or you may prefer to laze around, read a book, perhaps do some yoga and relax as you gaze at the sun shimmering off the dam water as dragonflies flutter about. Heart and Soul is a secluded cabin offering getaways for adults only. If you’re after tranquillity and seclusion we have just the place for you. Here you will be surrounded by rolling hills and magnificent mountain views without another house or human in sight. This gorgeous little cabin is fully a off grid facility catering for couples or solo stays. The cabin is fully contained with all that you need for a comfortable stay looking out over spectacular scenery. It sits nestled in between undulating hills of lush green grass, perched on the edge of a dam filled with water lillies. The spring fed dam attracts the local wildlife and our farm cows visit daily. Our new sunset BBQ area is almost finished, where you’ll be able to make delicious meals. Heart and Soul will not disappoint - a lot of time, thought and love has gone into creating your dream getaway. No pets please.

Anniversary celebration
My husband and I booked into Heart & Soul to celebrate our 20yr anniversary together. It was the perfect little spot to get away. The cabin is hand crafted and juts out over a picturesque dam (which we had a swim in). There are no other properties around, so it felt really secluded. Lots to do close by, so it’s perfect for anyone wanting to see the area. Or you could just lay back, relax and enjoy your little piece of paradise. Thank you Nina for being a wonderful host and even going above and beyond and leaving us a special treat to help celebrate our anniversary.

Heaven on Earth
Heart & Soul is heaven on earth. We loved the feeling of peace and serenity with no visible properties as far as you can see in each direction. Being off grid does not mean you go without any comforts. We appreciated the thought of the marshmallows and coffee and fresh oranges for juicing with breakfast. The indoor fireplace was cosy and the fire pit was a lovely spot to watch the sunset. Morning sounds from the cows at the dam, the birds and ducks all let you know exactly where you were. Yoga on the deck with a quick dip in the dam was a brilliant way to start the day. Nina was the perfect host and we recommend her lovely cabin very highly, we will be booking again for sure. Lovely getaway
We loved staying in Nina's off grid cabin. It was very quiet and peaceful - just what we needed. The cabin was comfortable with everything we needed and ideally situated on a beautiful, little dam with water lillies and ducks etc. Cattle came to drink each day and we met two friendly horses too. Sooo relaxing. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Heart and Soul. So many thoughtful touches that made our weekend so special. We loved seeing the cows drinking right near us, the turtles in the dam, the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, the massage table and supplied massage oils. Just incredible.

Private and picturesque property
Heart & Soul was more than we expected, especially its totally "off grid" accommodation. We loved everything about this very private and picturesque property with gorgeous surrounds, reflections on the dam, cattle foraging nearby, fireplace, outdoor firepit, deck overlooking the dam, walks within the 50 acres, well-equipped kitchen and facilities, and so much more. We feel totally rejuvenated and relaxed. Thank you Nina and Jack.

Beautiful retreat in lush farmlands surrounded by nature. Heart and soul is an amazing place to stay with comfortable amenities and everything that you need to have a secluded peaceful time away. We loved saying good morning to the cows and watching the nature on the dam.
