PLEASE NOTE:- There are 3 camp areas at Buddai Camp, Gumtree - has 2 separate sites. Creekbend - has 1 individual site. Old Stump - has 1 individual site, but suitable for larger groups. ~ Gumtree - site 1 and site 2. ~ Creekbend - site 1. ~ Old Stump - site 1. Gumtree has a little flat area on top of creek bank and the rest is more uneven and sloped ground. More suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans. Creekbend is all flat and more suitable for bigger vehicles. Old Stump is slighlty sloped and uneven but has some flat areas. Away from the other 2 camp area but suitable for large groups. Quiet camp area on Creek bank. A short walk down the bank to shallow to mid depth running water, perfect to sit and chill out in, or watch the kids splash around. Plenty of shade down by the creek. It can be a steep or slippery walk down to the creek, depending on the weather and if the creek has recently risen or flooded. Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance. All campers must be fully self sufficient. NO TOILETS NO ELECTRICITY NO WATER Camp fires permitted but subject to local fire bans/restrictions. BYO firewood. Firewood also available for purchase from neighbours just up the road. ABSOLUTELY NO reving of vehicles, burnouts, skids etc of any sort!!! Music, talking , yahooing, barking dogs etc must be kept at a minimum at night to respect other campers and near by residents. This is a working farm, so we are not always hanging out at the house, and often out in the paddock, So as a courtesy can you please give an estimated arrival time so we can meet you at the house and then take you down and show you the campsite.

Flat grassed land on top of the creek bank. Short walk down bank via a cleared path to waters edge, is a little steep. There is plenty of shade down by the creek. Perfect to sit in with a cold beverage. Can accommodate about 3 caravans/camper trailers or RVs comfortably. Extra tents or swags accepted. Great area for a family or group that don't want to be parked beside strangers. Please note that there are 2 other sites on Gumtree camp also, about 100m away.

Limited flat, mostly slight slopped grassed land on top of the creek bank. Short walk down bank via a cleared path to waters edge, is a bit steep. There is plenty of shade down by the creek. Perfect to sit in with a cold beverage. Please limit it to no more than 2 small caravans/camper trailers or RVs per booking. Extra tents or swags accepted with in site. If you require more than 2 or if you have more than 7 members, or wish to have the whole area to yourself please book both site 1 and site 2. Please note that there are 2 other sites on Creekbend camp, about 100m away.

Old Stump camp is a well maintained grass area on the creek bank. The land is slightly slopped and uneven with some flat areas. The creek is just a short walk down a clear but slightly steep track, but very doable for most. This is a more private area, suitable for campers who don't want neighbouring campers or if you want an area for a large group. Please note that there is a track that passes along side this area that may be used by campers from further up that want to go for a walk or by us travelling by vehicles, motorbikes or even horses from time to time on our way up to the other sites or paddocks.

We loved our stay at Gumtree Camp. It was peaceful, spacious and such a beautiful spot, with lovely sunsets and plenty of room between sites. We camped right beside a beautiful old gum tree, and the host was really friendly too. You can see the creek from camp, and the path down is quite steep. A couple of things worth knowing: it is a shared camping area, so other campers may arrive or move around during your stay. We also noticed a few ticks, so keeping your dog’s tick prevention current and doing regular checks is a good idea. Make sure you follow the host’s directions for access too - it makes getting in much easier. We’d absolutely come back and would love to try some of the other sites on the property next time. 🐾🏕️

We really enjoyed our stay here. The sites are very flat, grassy, and generously sized, with plenty of space between campers, so it never felt crowded. The creek is the highlight of the property, with multiple swimming holes that were perfect for cooling off and exploring throughout the day. Our dogs absolutely loved it too, with lots of room to run around and enjoy themselves safely. The only downsides were that there isn't a lot of shade, so it can get quite warm during the day, and while the creek is close by, you can't actually see it from most campsites. That said, it's only a short walk away and well worth it.

Always beautiful! Meant to be a very quick mini break before heading out for a few nights next month but had to leave unexpectedly. Hosts refunded portion of fee! Absolutely not required as we were there a very good part of the day. Very unexpected surprise. As always would highly recommend and cannot wait for visit next month!

Very, very nice spot to stay! Super quiet and creek water crystal clear. We had an unexpected rainy day so didnt get to explore the creek bed as much as we would have liked to so absolutely hope to stay again. Dogs were able to explore and loved it too.

Old stump is a great spot. Very private and peaceful with plenty of space and a good running creek. A little bit of an adventure down the steep track to the nicer creek section made it fun for the kids. We’ll be back.

This is a great little spot l! I had the pleasure of staying overnight with my two dogs who loved the wide open field to run in. It has an awesome little running creek close enough to hear the running water while you sleep and look up at the stars. I would definitely recommend this one for small or large groups as there is definitely space to accommodate either. The open sky’s and mountain views will not disappoint and I can confirm I will definitely return to this one with the family!

Our trip was fantastic…there was a slight mishap with other campers having set up in our spot however communication with Halley was easy and it was sorted quickly We happily swapped spots…so others did not have to pack up and reset up! It’s such a peaceful and private camp especially Riverbend site which is where we ended up. Dogs are able to run and explore. Look forward to returning in the future
