PLEASE NOTE:- There are 3 camp areas at Buddai Camp, Gumtree - has 2 separate sites. Creekbend - has 1 individual site. Old Stump - has 1 individual site, but suitable for larger groups. ~ Gumtree - site 1 and site 2. ~ Creekbend - site 1. ~ Old Stump - site 1. Gumtree has a little flat area on top of creek bank and the rest is more uneven and sloped ground. More suitable for tents, swags, rooftops and small vans. Creekbend is all flat and more suitable for bigger vehicles. Old Stump is slighlty sloped and uneven but has some flat areas. Away from the other 2 camp area but suitable for large groups. Quiet camp area on Creek bank. A short walk down the bank to shallow to mid depth running water, perfect to sit and chill out in, or watch the kids splash around. Plenty of shade down by the creek. It can be a steep or slippery walk down to the creek, depending on the weather and if the creek has recently risen or flooded. Easily accessible by 2WD as long as its not too wet. Suitable for tents, caravans, RVs etc Dogs allowed but must be supervised at all times and chained/locked up at night or if being a nuisance. All campers must be fully self sufficient. NO TOILETS NO ELECTRICITY NO WATER Camp fires permitted but subject to local fire bans/restrictions. BYO firewood. Firewood also available for purchase from neighbours just up the road. This is a working farm, so we are not always hanging out at the house, and often out in the paddock, So as a courtesy can you please give an estimated arrival time so we can meet you at the house and then take you down and show you the campsite.

Limited flat, mostly slight slopped grassed land on top of the creek bank. Short walk down bank via a cleared path to waters edge, is a bit steep. There is plenty of shade down by the creek. Perfect to sit in with a cold beverage. Please limit it to no more than 2 small caravans/camper trailers or RVs per booking. Extra tents or swags accepted with in site. If you require more than 2 or if you have more than 7 members, or wish to have the whole area to yourself please book both site 1 and site 2. Please note that there are 2 other sites on Creekbend camp, about 100m away.

Great area for a family or group that don't want to be parked beside strangers. Please note that there are 2 other sites on Gumtree camp also, about 100m away.

Old Stump camp is a well maintained grass area on the creek bank. The land is slightly slopped and uneven with some flat areas. The creek is just a short walk down a clear but slightly steep track, but very doable for most. This is a more private area, suitable for campers who don't want neighbouring campers or if you want an area for a large group. Please note that there is a track that passes along side this area that may be used by campers from further up that want to go for a walk or by us travelling by vehicles, motorbikes or even horses from time to time on our way up to the other sites or paddocks.

This is a great, private spot on grassed flat land above the creek. The dogs can run freely within camp without disturbing the neighbours who are very generously distanced from one another's sites. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The creek is lovely to explore and swim in. Lots of bird watching and the cows were a treat. There's enough room for groups and its not too far to travel feom Brissy or the GC. Happily camp here again 👌

Wow what a beautiful peace of land. Directions were spot on and easy to follow. I throughly enjoyed my time it was peaceful heaps of bird life access to the creek was close to camp and easy to get down. For camper that have there own toilet and shower it is a must visit for the amazing peacefulness

Absolutely one of the best places we have been. @ camp and crawl 4x4 like to explore new camps but always return to the ones we love AND Gumtree did not disappoint the second time around. Can not wait to get back!

What a magnificent tree!

The directions to the campsite were very clear. The campsite was nice and green and had been recently mowed. While there was another camper also staying at Gum Tree, there was still plenty of room for both groups. Both sites had a large perfectly flat pads right on the creek with firepits, which we used once it got cooler in the evening. The magnificent tree provides good shade in the afternoon, if you have the left hand site (south eastern site). There is a steep track down to the creek. Thanks for a nice getaway. Recommended. We will be back.

Awesome area to camp in, shame that the creek access was so steep (it was clear in the description so we were not surprised). Unfortunately it was raining when we arrived and we had a few slips trying to access the creek after the rain eased. We loved the privacy and flat open space to enjoy with the children and dogs. We will definitely rebook!

Second time back. Absolutely awesome spot, almost forgot how good it was. It’s one of my favs I’ve visited and I’ve been to a bunch of hipcamps. Telstra signal, clear running creek and lots to explore within it, super dog friendly, chill hosts and immaculately maintained grass. Easy access and large sites. It’s just a great camp that accommodates all set ups and sociability levels (the old stump camp is a fair walk away from all the others if you want your own space-took me 15mins to walk there and check it out when no one was there, from creekbend), AND it’s only a little over an hour from the coast; feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but Beaudesert is only 20mins away. My mum wants to come along next time based on my raving reviews and pictures, and she’s not even a camper-sort.

Plenty of space a long way from the road. Nice mown track in so easy to take the dogs for a walk. Plenty of separation between camp sites so quite private. Nice views of area with shade and sunlight if you want.

I stayed on Creek Bend campsite, and it was just wonderful. A lovely, flat spot, plenty of sunshine and afternoon shade. The access to the river is easily accessible. My dog loved being able to roam around the large site. This would be a great spot for a group camp, as there is lots of space. I have already booked my return trip for when the weather warms up and I can take full advantage of the river.

We spent a lovely weekend, on a nice grassy flat spot. Could hear the crystal clear creek flowing at our site. Doggo enjoyed the long walks and swims in the creek.

Really lovely property, hosts were welcoming visiting us on arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the creek and the gym tree swing, great place for dogs too!

We had creek bend all to ourselves. This site would easily fit 4 maybe 5 groups on it. We were in a caravan. Mowed flat site. We both enjoyed our 2 night stay. Directions were easy and clear. Being only an hour from home for us we definitely would visit again for a quick getaway. John and Halley popped in on the first afternoon and introduced themselves which is great to meet your hosts and for them to meet their guests. Thank you for allowing us to stay.

Loved staying here on Creek bend. Area was clean and spacious. Fire pit supplied which was perfect. Access to the clear flowing pebble creek was relaxing and beautiful. Plenty of room to kick a ball, run, climb a tree. No road noise. And host was so helpful and prompt with replies.
