You will love the peacefulness of nature here. Camping sites offered for self-contained RV's and caravans only, who are completely self-sufficient with their own toilet/shower. The Mary River runs through Maryborough and there are some places to stop and enjoy a picnic by the waters edge. Located only 30 minutes from Hervey Bay where you will find plenty of beautiful beaches, excellent cafes and restaurants to enjoy. You can easily get access to Fraser Island from here too. Enjoy a campfire in the evenings and listen to the sounds of nature. Jakobus was an incredible host. While there was significant rain in the area that made 2wd camping challenging, Jakobus quickly problem solved and found a great solution for us on the property. He went above and beyond in hosting us.

It was a lovely wild life stay with a beautiful dam for the bird's to fly into. The only problem was it's proximity to the dump that smelt. The first day was OK the next two days the wind must of changed and the smell was rank.

We had a great time at kipdrift. Put the caravan next to the lake and woke up looking at the black swan swimming across while having at cuppa in bed.sheep wander about all day, then go into the night enclosure late in the afternoon 5 mins to the centre of Maryborough. Looking forward to another few days here in the very near future

Cute spot by the dam on this property, lots of wildlife to see. We booked last minute due to car issues and owner was very friendly.

It was a lovely campsite, dam was beautiful, very pretty property, quiet and central to town. Our hosts where lovely. We filled up water while we were there. Please note it is very close to the local landfill so depending which way the wind is blowing there may be some odours.

Great spot by the billabong. Appropriate with our van called Matilda! Just had to leave early due to electrical issues. Directions in were a little confusing but got there okay. Can’t be any closer to town but feel like you are in the country.
