(Please note campground is only open from 1 April to 31 August each year) Moonys Camp is a peaceful, safe and secure campground set on 40 acres 10 mins out of Hervey Bay. We adjoin the Mary2Bay Rail Trail We offer Toilets and hot Showers, RV Dump Point, Lagoon, Playground, Camp Kitchen. Campfires, Pets and BIG Rigs welcome. Located at 159 Old Walligan Rd, Walligan Qld 4655. Camp kitchen has a fridge, microwave and gas BBQ and 240v available to charge devices. Drinking water available from water tanks. The campground is suitable for big rigs, caravans, motorhomes, tents and swags. We neighbor the Mary2 Bay Rail Trail, which starts at the Urangan Pier and goes to Maryborough. Next door to us is the Vernon Conservation Park with 1,600 acres to explore by walking, cycling or horse riding, so bring your ebikes and ride all the way into town if you are keen. Dogs allowed but must remain on a leash. Campfires allowed, except during total fire bans. (Please note campground is only open from 1 April to 31 August each year).Close enough to town but far enough out of town to have large sites, a campfire and 40 peacefull and quiet acres of camping. Camp near the lagoon or near the large campers kitchen. We offer toilets and hot showers, very well equipped Camp Kitchen with fridge, BBQ, sink, tables and chairs, microwave, toaster, air fryer, pool table, 65" TV with Netflix and YouTube. Sandpit, swings, playground and trampoline for the kids. Small dogs allowed on lead. RV Dump point. We neighbour the bay Maryborough rail trail and Vernon Conservation Park with 1,600 acres to explore by walking, cycling or horse riding, so bring your ebikes, escooters and ride all the way into town if you are keen.
