I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett) River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg.
We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion.
For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property
overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water.
There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST!
Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes.
There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained!
Don’t have a kayak, no worries.
We also have kayaks available for hire.
We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography!
All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking.
Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for
communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and
around 50km from Bundaberg.
Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available.
when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I suggest U bring wood for the ist night, In case it has rained & saves the hassle first up allowing U to chill out sooner 🥂
Well behaved pets welcome, but they must be kept under control and you must pick up after them.
We look forward to welcoming you 🥂

Used as a quick stop over on the way up and back, great location, not too far off the highway. Borrowed the kayak for paddle in the morning which was nice. Great host.
Great little spot for the camper who will bring your own amenities. Right on the river with lots to see. We took our SUP and loved cooking on a fire. We brought a camp toilet with no issues. We had one bar of 4G coverage (Vodafone).
Grabbed a burger at close by Wallaville and went 4WD into goodnight scrub national park.
What an amazing place on the river sunsets next level so quiet wish I had more time there. But thats for next time . Lovely host thank you for opening up such a special place ❤️ Definitely recommend this hip camp
Me and my mates loved our time at this camp, right on the river with cows and horses all around it was the perfect stay. Jennifer was amazingly hospitable and quite happy to work with us with timings and such, cant wait to visit again!
Very friendly welcome by Jennifer, and she escorted us to the camp area, directing us to a great spot to set up. Camped right by the river and were surrounded by beautiful bird song. A fire pit was in place to burn some logs for the evening.
Jennifer’s place is so beautiful and she’s a lovely, genuine person. The peacefulness and birdlife were highlights for us and canoeing around the waterways. Thanks again for a great 4 days!
We just had three nights at Paradise Lost on Burnett and had a great time relaxing by the creek. The cows chewed there way past us each day on their daily wander around the farm. I did manage to land a massive catfish on lures and lost a massive Lungfish as we we're about to land it. Managed to see one of the Platypus that reside in the creek.
Our host Jennifer was great and sent easy to follow instructions on how to find her place which is less than 10km from the highway. If your near Gin Gin a looking for a great rest spot then do yourself a favour and check this place out. We have a 17ft caravan and had no issues getting in or out.
My husband and I really loved camping here. We had a magnificent view of the river and we were lucky enough to be the only ones there this particular night. Jennifer was really thoughtful of the weather, making sure that we would be able to get out again, if it rained overnight. It was lovely and peaceful, and we were able to really relax, which is what we needed.
We thoroughly enjoyed Jennifer’s property. We stayed for three days down by the creek. Absolutely beautiful. Would recommend. Jennifer‘s place was very private and peaceful.
What a spot ! Paradise lost is truly a little piece of “ paradise” friendly and welcoming host .. from the moment I arrived I felt relaxed . Nice grassy well kept campsite on the Burnett river where you can do as little or a lot as you like .. cruise the river in a canoe or go fishing or just relax around the campfire and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the water .
This place is magic 😍 so quiet, plenty of fishing and kayaking and relaxing. It definitely is a hidden paradise. The host Jenifer is lovely and very helpful, and they sell egg! We will definitely be back
We spent 3 nights in this amazing paradise and didn't want to leave! Jennifer was an awesome host. We had the place to ourselves! All campsites are spaced apart and all have privacy.
Just magical and relaxing. We will be back!
What a beautiful peaceful spot. We were camped by the creek rather than the river in a gorgeous spot that was really quiet and private. It was a wet weekend, but we just enjoyed the serenity. Lots of life to watch in the creek with fish, turtles and I spotted one of the platypus. Even with all the rain, access was no problem. Lachlan was delightful when leading us to our site, and Jennifer was really friendly when she dropped by for a chat. We’ll definitely be going back in the future.
We had wonderful nights stay on Jennifer's amazing property. She was very friendly and we really enjoyed our chat. We will definitely be back next time we are passing though ..... hopefully for a few nights this time.
