Located at Howard near Hervey Bay QLD Australia we have a 40 acre property on the Burrum River. Camping is available on the property with access for motor homes and caravans. Enjoy peace and quiet with fishing and an abundance of bird life and occasional wildlife including Kangaroos, Echidnas, Turkeys and LizardsEnjoy natural bush land up the back of the property as you have a morning or afternoon stroll or even take the dogs for a walk. Located near the town of Howard that includes a Pub (great food), a local IGA store, bakery (awesome sandwiches, pies and cakes), the butcher with an awesome selection and also a takeaway and small cafe. Also a short drive away is Torbanlea with another Pub (and great food) and Burrum heads leading onto the ocean with new boat ramp, large pub, cafe, and another store.Half an hour away is also Hervey Bay with all larger stores and retailers. Hervey Bay River Accomodation
Nice and peaceful right on the burrum river. Heaps of room with plenty of shade. Plenty of fish and even a few muddies caught off the river bank. I booked in for a week and extended my stay.

Very peaceful location & the host Michael is such a great person very easy going I was greeted with a handshake & a smile ( im from the old school & respect & common curtsy are a big thing to me) I definitely be back in the near future & would have no hesitation in recommending this great camp-site to others & already have

Peace & Quiet
Beautiful spot for our overnight stop in our van. Peaceful, lovely grounds. Had ourselves a little fire, so relaxing. Would recommend staying here.

Great spot
Great spot, plenty of room..had the whole place to ourselves.... Very easy to find and host was great. Don't forget the aerogaurd, midges were savage daylight and dark. Not very impressed by doubling the cost because it was school holidays. Nice grassy spots back off the river a little bit.. We will probably go back again

Midgie heaven
It was a peaceful spot and choice of dam or river views. Double price school holidays but Michael offered us an extra night. BUT the midgies were horrific and even attacked my partner who had never been bitten by one before. Spent a fortune on creams and had a miserable 5 days. So go prepared.
