Great true bush camping with Kangaroo's and Sugar Gliders. Our son loved the playground, chickens, Goats and Guinnea Pig pats. We had a wonderful family stay.

Beautiful farm stay bushland

Just 30 minutes from Hervey Bay and right off the highway, this spot is such a gem. With farm animals, a magical fairy garden, bikes, a playground, and beautiful bushland surrounds, it’s perfect for a relaxing stopover. The best part? The most delightful hosts who are constantly adding thoughtful touches — and it’s not even a year old yet! 🙌 There’s a shower & toilet, water refill, and a handy camp kitchen, making it an easy and comfortable stay. Being relatively close to the highway (not that you’d know it when here as it’s all bush land!), you can hear some noise, but it’s not super loud. We stayed on site 5 which was large enjoy for multiple families and close to everything!

Kids loved the animals. Settings was pretty, only improvement would be the toilet and shower facilities. The hosts were lovely and included the kids in all things with the animals.

Suzan and Vincent were super lovely, camp spot were very generously sized. We had a great time for out first camping trip away in our camper. Very family friendly, My kids loved feeding and holding the farm animals too! As stated, there is some highway noise over night, and being self sufficient is definitely recommended. There is one Communal toilet that is enclosed with the shower. It was nice to use however caused a bit of a que at times and using the shower with the kids after somone had been to the toilet created a bit of a wait time to let things settle before going in. Just something to be mindful of. The grounds are lovely, the hosts are so welcoming and we will definitely return once they have continued to expand a little. A really nice place to stay 🙂

Simple, spacious and kids adored it

A property that has had so much work done to it, and the aspirations are still plenty to go. Amazing hosts, always up for a chat. Very clean and spacious site, kids loved playing with the goats, chickens, ducks and guinea pigs. Was very appreciative to the easter activities that were put on, even though that meant me "running" around with chocolates attached for kids to get. You will definitely see us again and we look forward to seeing the ongoing changes you make!

We did not meet Susan but her husband Vincent greeted us! He is such a nice guy! The property has so much potential which they are slowly working on! Vincent has great ideas! With all campgrounds, after the rain comes mud so be prepared for that and check the forecast! We had a lovely stay, thank you!

A great stay!

We stopped off for one night and the owners kindly met us after check-in time and showed us the site. Lots of space and a great camp kitchen and toilet/shower. Petting the goats and chickens in the morning was a great way to start our day :)

Lovely place to stay ! Susan and her husband were the best hosts ever. We had really nice and interesting conversations with them. The site is perfect and flat, shower and toilets are really clean and the camp kitchen too. Farm pets were so cute. We really enjoyed our stay, and recommend it at 10000%.

Peaceful Bush Setting

Fabulous find while we visited family in the area. We are 2Ad in a caravan & loved the spacious peaceful bush setting along with having potable water available. Highly recommend staying here, is a beautiful place to stay. Loved that there's goats, cows , chickens and ducks roaming and the Fairy track and garden is an awesome idea. Was easy access just have off highway. We have a big 19mtr bus and had plenty room to park it with water access. I even got to see and catch my first ever firefly. Hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Thankyou Susan, Vincent and Eli for making our stay a wonderful one.

Fantastic stay!

We had such a lovely night at Woodlands Farmstay - large bush sites with firepits, feels very peaceful and secluded despite being so easily accessible from the highway and so close to town. Beautiful view of the stars at night too! Susan and Vinnie are fabulous hosts, really friendly and helpful, and having a chance to interact with the gorgeous farm animals was a highlight for us! We'll definitely be back and we can't wait to see how the place grows 😊

Perfect family farm stay

We stayed on a powered site with our caravan so we could enjoy the air conditioning. We had a fantastic stay and so did our 2.5-year-old, who absolutely loved the animals. Susan was an amazing host — she showed us around and even let us help feed the animals. It was lovely chatting with her about the vision for their farm stay, and it’s clear this place is only going to get better and better. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend. Fantastic hosts and a great piece of land. Pub just down the road and the beaches are only a short drive as well. Friendly animals and plenty of firewood. Thanks for having us!

My grandson loved patting and seeing the animals, plus the fairy lights were amazing at night. The hosts were very friendly and happy to have a chat. This place was so close to where we live and so relaxing, will be definitely returning.

Lovely, secluded camping amongst the trees! Close proximity to Howard. Plenty of space for caravan and vehicle. We loved getting up close with the farm animals - a couple of shetlands, very cute calves, goats, including the baby goat 😍 and the chickens. Peaceful and relaxing spot, and the hosts Susan and Vincent are very welcoming and lovely to chat to.

Great location and loved our stay

Situated close to the highway this was the perfect Hipcamp to use for our trip south. Despite only being a short distance from the turnoff this property does make you feel like you are in the woods. We were lucky enough to meet the lovely family who are creating this Hipcamp and can’t wait to see what they do in future. Kids loved the sandpit and play area. Goats, cows, chickens which the kids also loved and got to feed and the beautiful walk to the fairy garden. Would stay again.

lovely hosts, they have a great property with cute animals and are very thoughtful in making your stay fun with toys for kids including bikes to ride around and a fairy garden. the drop toilet is well designed, airy and no smell :)

Easy access of the highway. Host was super friendly, the property was nice and peaceful and their children's play area was great. Kept my son entertained. The free range animals were super cute and kept to themselves. Would recommend and stay again.

We had an amazing stay! The kids loved the friendly animals and the hosts were so kind and helpful. Great play area for kids, adorable fairy garden to explore and a peaceful wide open space. Easy access off the Bruce highway. We will be staying again when passing through.
