"Timeless Tranquility" is the slogan of Circles in the Forest bush camp, situated 4 km south of Childers on 236 acres of natural bush land. As the slogan suggests, this camp site is surrounded by native Australian bush land with lots of birds and wildlife to be enjoyed. No audible music or any loud noise for that matter is allowed. You can enjoy a bush walk, read a book, ride your bike, gaze into the fire or just sit and listen to nature's beautiful sounds. The site consists of 18 camp sites, flushing toilets and two hot water showers. Enjoy a hot shower in a delux converted water tank. A fire pit with barbecue grill is also provided. No bins or drinking water is available (Non-potable bore water is available)

We had such a great experience camping here! The grounds were clean, well-maintained, and beautifully set out. The owners were friendly and helpful, and everything felt really well organised. The amenities were spotless, and it was clear that a lot of care goes into keeping the site welcoming and comfortable. It was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind. We’ll definitely be coming back!

It is a great spot. Nice and easy access to Childers Love how it has been set up. Lots of room between campsites. Brilliant fire pit setup, best I have seen for safety. The showers and toilets are so cute! A lot of thought and personal touches have been put into the design. The shower is on a timer which definitely needs some adjustment to get hot water through before it cuts out but Im sure the owner will look into that. Definitely worth checking out!

Circles in the forest was fantastic. The camp kitchen and amenities were incredibly unique and beautiful. The site is a bit out of the way if coming from the highway and you have to drive a bit through the forest to get to the site but it was lovely. One thing to note is that the showers are on a 4 minute timer and turn off for 5 minutes in between. The lights in the amenities only work after dark, but I believe this is in line with their eco-friendly approach. Gary met us at the entrance and was very friendly and informative. We would recommend this campsite! :)

Nice campsites..all quite flat. Nice hot showers to wash off dirt! Didn't use kitchen but quite a few did. Really peaceful. Good stock of firewood. Was really good

Such a Thoughtful & Beautiful Campsite! We were so impressed by how well thought out this place is. The brand-new flushing toilets and the gorgeous shower—cleverly built inside a converted water tank—were absolute highlights. The camp kitchen was spotless and fully stocked with everything a camper could need, which made meal prep super easy. Each of the 20 sites has its own fire pit (huge bonus!), and firewood is available for just $5 a wheelbarrow on an honesty system. It’s peaceful and quiet, just 5 minutes off the highway, nestled on over 200 acres with lovely walking tracks if you feel like exploring. Everything was perfect—seriously, not a single complaint. If I had to mention one thing, it would be that because the facilities are quite open-air, spiders and webs could be an issue, but I’m sure the owners are on top of keeping things clean and tidy. Highly recommend—this is camping done right!

We had such a great time at this camp site. It’s true to the photos and even cooler when you get there. It’s in a peaceful location, but at the same time not far from supplies. You’re 20 minutes away from nearest beach, got 2 hikes within the site itself, a swimming hole hike and other hikings all not far from the camp. Not far from Bundaberg and Hervey Bay either. Gary was an amazing host, checked us in giving all local recommendations, was very friendly and nice to have a chat with. Recommended 100% - we’ll definitely come back.

An amazing camp ground. Gary and his wife were very friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay at camp site 6. The stars were so pretty and the camp site was nice and quiet at night time. We are looking forward to coming back!

Excellent location far off road so no noise amenities unique , clean and hot showers , great price, caretaker was helpful as, so much potential, only thing is sites need more allocation boundary , other campers can encroach on your site not knowwing.

Circles in the Forest is a perfect getaway for anyone seeking peace and quiet. Phil, the friendly caretaker, welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The campground is spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. The facilities are truly unique—handcrafted with creativity and care, they add a special touch to the experience. Firewood is available for just $5 per wheelbarrow. If you’re looking for a quiet, well-maintained spot with a great atmosphere, Circles in the Forest is highly recommended!

Gary and the beautiful Care taker were extremely welcoming / helpful , giving us the choice to pitch our tent anywhere we liked . We were amazed seeing stunning facilities, mostly hand carved Wooden furniture in the kitchen area with hot water sink / private Fire pits with hot grill/ out of this world Showers with cute wooden pieces / flushing toilets/ solar lighting. Listening to the sounds of the magical forest along with roaring fire 🔥 was the ultimate experience we would never forget. Highly highly recommend it 🙌👌 Thank you Gary for sharing your peaceful paradise.

Best campsite to date. Sites spaced out beautifully so you're not on top of each other. Natural surrounding. Great facilities. We like quiet so it was the best find. Paul onsite was very welcoming. Will return
