We had a one night stay and wished it could have been more! Gavin is a great host and we felt welcomed by him.
It was great to relax in this peaceful setting.

What a terrific camp. Close to the river - caught plenty of fish and mud crab to keep us feed for the 3 days!! Loved the privacy of only one camp and Gavin was an absolute legend!! Highly recommend!!

Exactly as described.
The host (Gavin) has an amazing property and is very proud to share it. He made our family feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed and knew the last of the land.
Access to the river is a short track down from the camp site itself, and a great spot to wet a line and throw a crab pot in. The main camp area is flat and open with plenty of space to set up as you please. There is an established fire pit which would also suit camp oven cooking.
We had such a good time over the break and recommend this place to anyone who camps self-suffuciently.
Thanks again Gavin for sharing this place with us and just being a top bloke.

Idyllic campsite. Very private and spacious. Good access to a fishing spot on the river and to a fresh water dam for a swim. Gavin was very helpful, showing us around on arrival. Looking forward to a return visit.

Nice quiet spot on the river. If you have kayaks it is accessible down a path but only at high tide to avoid the mud. Lucky enough to have the site to ourselves so perfect for us. Gavin is a realy nice host. We'll be back for sure.

This place was amazing THERE was fishing, bike rideing trail, peace and quite. Lots of fire wood. Spare water if needed. Our RV wifi worked which is another plus. We will be rebooking. Love love love.

Honestly, couldn't find a better spot to unwind, fish, get back in touch with nature and recharge the batteries. Amazing sunsets, plenty of space to explore and just so peaceful and quiet. Gavin doesn't feel like just a host, he feels like a great mate who gets so much delight from sharing his space with others and seeing them enjoy themselves. I can't wait to make it back

What a great private camping space!
Plenty of room & open space scattered with a few trees for shade. Nice big firepit & an undercover table that came in very handy on the rainy days, good for hanging our towels out to dry. (We rigged up a rope clothes line).
Nice view of the river & so many birds, lovely spot to relax & get back to nature.
Such a lovely host who checked in to be sure all was well but not intrusive. Brought us some beautiful sweet juicy lemons for the fish we caught & lovely to talk too. Plenty of large bream to be had while we were there (in June); trees made fishing a little tricky, but not impossible lol
We hope to return next time we head north.
Wish this property was closer to our home, we would be regulars ☺️

We had a lovely two-night stay by the Burrum River at Gavin's place. The camping area is flat and open with plenty of good spots to park up. Really peaceful and private, lots of birds and wildflowers, and we saw a sugar glider one night! Gavin is a great host - he makes sure you're ok, happily shares the best spots for walking and fishing, and then he leaves you to enjoy it.

This campsite is very private and is the only one on the property.
Lovely natural bush setting and plenty of room.
A short stroll down to the fishing spot where we caught fish every time.
Gavin is a very helpful and considerate host who allows you privacy but checks on you daily.

Great place to camp for a week.Easy to find and easy access to site.Fantastic view right above the river.Gavin was very welcoming and took the time to show us around the property.Fishing was good all week.Will definitely be returning.

We had a lovely long weekend at nature Lovers Lagoon had the place to ourselves, set up in the bush with the river one side and the Lagoon on the other, stunning sun sets and well located to check out the areas attractions. Thank you we would go there again.

Great spot so peaceful and plenty of room. Easy access for campers and vans the host Gavin is such a great man he couldn’t make us feel more welcome as a bonus he gave us a bag of mangos couldn’t be happier and would recommend this site.
