Rosgrow Farm, 15 minutes off the Bruce Highway, offers secluded campsites set on a large tidal creek. There are plenty of trees and shelter. The creek offers fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle-boarding, boating and swimming. Mountain bike trails are only 5 minutes ride away with 40km of track interlinked. [xxxxxxxx] Fire pits and picnic areas make the sites perfect for evening relaxation with bird life and jumping fish, talking about the day's fishing or eating the day's crab catch. Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Looking for a special breakfast or brunch? Try Goody’s on the Beach, a 3-minute drive away at Toogoom for great waterside dining or Arkarra Gardens, 10 minutes away for a tropical rainforest dining experience. Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.

Situated on a wide tidal creek, only 3 km from the Coral Sea, Rosgrow Farm Camping has four available sites, one on the waterfront and others nestled under the gumtrees. Riverside is the closest to the water and offers a sheltered area only 20m from the bank. Fire pits and picnic tables are provided for the perfect night, sitting around the campfire, talking about the day’s fishing, boating, paddle-boarding, kayaking, or just tranquil resting. Guests must be self-sufficient with regard to showers and toilets, these sites are suitable for RVs and caravans with their own toilet. If you want to share this site with friends in another van, just book them into one of the Paddock sites and they can park with you instead. Beware it would be possible but a bit tight with 2 large caravans.

    Great spot on the river, spacious sites with plenty of seating and picnic area. Fire pits on every site. friendly and welcoming host. Peaceful and relaxing, booked for 1 night and stayed another as it was so beautiful. we'll definitely return.
