Clean toilets and showers. Good location, 25 mins drive from Gympie town
The pictures online do NOT do this place justice. We had a beautiful stay. Everyone was so welcoming (people live there also) and all the amenities were great. It’s about 25 minutes to tin can and then 35 to rainbow beach however the actual site itself is just lovely to spend the day there. Thankyou very much. We had a lovely few days!

Maybe keep maintenance away settled sites, and mow and maintain after the site is vacated.
The offer to relocate after setting up on the wet grassed site would have been appreciated upon arrival.
We had a very positive experience at this campsite! The location is easy to access, which makes arrival and departure very convenient. We felt safe throughout our entire stay, which is essential when traveling with family. The common areas are well maintained and always clean, showing great care. In addition, the environment is მშვიდ, pleasant, and perfect for family moments. We will definitely come back!

Nice quiet park, very well maintained. Large space near the Dam where we stayed, the showers and toilets were also good. The pool was a hit for our son. Great place if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

A very peaceful park, beautifully presented with manicured lawns, very clean and tidy, flat and the pool was an extra bonus for the hot weather. Nothing like taking a dip in a Pool surrounded by pine trees and mountains! The memorial to our Veterans extra special also surrounding the dam. Lisa was so welcoming and accommodating to any question. Loved it so much we have booked 9N at Christmas 2026.

Beautifully presented green grass, good size Lotts. And very friendly and helpful staff.
Pristine camping ground with amenities to match! The pool is beautiful we highly recommend this site.
Exceptionally dog friendly, be sure not to miss happy hour at the communal kitchen the local residents are so kind :)

A rare gem! Russell was friendly and accommodating. Sites were large and well appointed, not on top of each other. Great for relaxation without neighbours right on top of you. Amenities were clean. Loved having the pool.

Great open grassed areas for off-grid camping. Amenities and pool were very clean, with the pool being a highlight for the kids. Dump point and water available which was handy.
Unfortunately, the stay was let down by unfriendly and unapproachable management. The welcome felt quite rude, and we were told not to book through Hipcamp, despite there being no information stating this. The site details on Hipcamp were also inaccurate — we booked with friends expecting to be together but were allocated different spots.

We had a wonderful stay at this caravan park. The site was clean, well maintained, and very peaceful. The facilities were excellent, especially the clean bathrooms and well-kept communal areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always happy to answer questions.
The location was perfect, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to local attractions and shops. Our pitch was spacious, level, and had all the hookups we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free.
Overall, this caravan park offers great value for money and a relaxing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to families, couples, and anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Standown Park was a lovely place with good amenities, however we were disappointed with the attitude of the owner/park manager.
We arrived about 20 minutes before the official check-in time, and when we phoned to let him know we were there, he was quite abrupt & rude.
We also didn’t realise that our two sites were quite a distance away from each other and were told that’s because of Hipcamps system needing lot numbers for unpowered sites. Perhaps this should be explained in the description of the listing. We ended up using an unpowered site to be with our friends, but still paid the price of a powered site for the 2 nights we were there.
Perfect for a few nights relaxing off the main road amongst the pine forest and farm land. The pool area and facilities as fantastic and all very clean and well kept. Powered lawn site with beautiful grass coverage and shade. We will be back again soon
Standown Park, Kia Ora is a good spot for a stopover if you’re road tripping the Coolooa Coast. Amenities were clean and well maintained, lots of room to set up, pool was relaxing, we used the camp kitchen only for cleaning. After our stopover, we continued down to Rainbow Beach.
Beautiful place - very quiet and great place to relax. The pool is lovely!
