Riverdell is 166 acres located on the eastern side of the Blackall Range extending down to the Mooloolah River headwaters. Escape off grid to enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the cattle grazing in the paddocks, spot the native birdlife or cuddle up by the fire in your own secluded paradise. Sunrises are spectacular while sunsets by open campfire are also a highlight of the Riverdell experience. Take a short walk up the creek branching west of the Mooloolah River to see some scenic rockpools and waterfalls in the cool of the rainforest canopy. Walking boots/shoes are highly recommended. There is plenty to do and see in the area including exploring nearby Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve, Gardeners Falls, Kondalilla National Park, Australia Zoo, indulge in a tasting at the Barrel at Clouds Vineyard opposite the front gate, stroll through Maleny Botanic Gardens & Bird World or take a short drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches. Access during daylight hours via 4WD ONLY with AT or MT off-road Tyres, RT Tyres are not permitted due to the steepness of the tracks. Which is a 5 k drive from our farm Parking area in the national park ,there are walking trails from the carpark area. Good for bird watchers and those who like to get outdoors and do some hiking or moutain climbing . How to get to us? We have two ways in . Option 1: Via Flagstone onto Bushman Drive – then into Wyatt road follow to the end and turn right onto undullah road follow for 5 ks . we approximately 14 km from the Flagstone Shopping Centre. Please note: 10 km of this route is gravel road. 4x4 vehicle access is recommended. Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. This route is 4x4 access is recommended with some narrow bends – please drive to conditions. We have only opened 4 lovely grassy sites. Our Hipcamp opened September 2024 and only 200m away is a cafe at our Garden Centre for a great coffee 6 days a week! You will need to be self-sufficient however we do have toilets available between 7am and 5pm in the adjoining Garden Centre carpark. Also available is a large cold water washing machine (gold coin donation). We are located on Tully Mission Beach Road with the bike path between Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach running right past the front gates, so a quick ride into town and plenty of space to bring your boat! We your hosts, (Nancy and Shane) operate the adjoining Garden Centre and Raw Materials yard so there is always something happening and with vast local knowledge of what to do and where to go, we are only happy to help. Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

You can have taken to your camp. Its $250 for 1 - 7 days. Please ensure you check our arrival directions before you come. Our place is easy to find, but we are farmers and always out working, so we probably won't be at the house when you arrive. Just come to the white house at 11 Roona Rd, Junabee, between 8am & 5pm and wait there until we come and take you to your site. The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups. Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family. The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees. The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue. Our farm is very quite with 8 amazing camp site, We have 5 dams, 3 that are great to swim in with free kayaking and noddles to float and relax on in the dams, a large pontoon on our main dam, a jetty on another, there are free roaming cattle to camp along side with lots of wild life to enjoy . We have 4 powered sites on Dingo Ridge hill top. We have different locations to camp at and some along side the creek, Platypus Bend, Possum Patch, Froggy Flat, Wallaby Way and Hidden Valley. We have 6 toilets a Hot shower, our water is filtered, but not suitable for drinking, we advise you bring your own drinking water but we do also sell drinking water, insect repellent and mash mellows. Our FIRES kits include $25 1st day (includes: fire pit, fire wood, fire starter and matches) $20 each day after everything included, All guests must take their waste with them on departure, we do have 10c recycling, There are many places that you can visit if you feel like a short drive within 15- 60 min such as Breweries, Wineries, Beaches, Markets, Rock pools and the old famous Mary Rattler Steam Train. There is also many quite and beautiful small towns to visit, or just sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee and the peace and quite. North Gympie, 17min to Mary Valley Rattler train station, 32min to Mothar Mountain Rock Pools, 35min to Tin Can Bay, 50min to Rainbow Beach, 60min to the Sunshine Coast. Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and have your own spot along side the beautiful running creek and enjoy the peaceful surrounds of nature. Quiet dogs are allowed, must be on leashes at all times and can not roam freely, pet waste must be picked up and taken off site when vacating.

This is a Historic Area it should be respected and enjoyed by all. If you have plans to do the Lincoln Wreck or Steamers while staying please do some research either by Google or YouTube or ask us any questions please. These are wilderness walks that need to be treated with respect. Border Main Range National Park. Emu Creek Valley 20 km. Which places you close access to many park walks include 2km from the start of the Lincoln Bomber Walk. Or walk to the STEAMERS. Prow Funnel Mast Stern. Spring and Bellbird Walk on Broangus, commanding views of surrounding peaks. Our property offers three camping areas. Creek Flat, Paddock Areas. and Prow View. Fire pits at all sites. Welcome to our not-for-profit grounds, now open to the public. The camp has been set up as a youth-oriented facility that welcomes travelers and regional people. All proceeds go towards running costs and improving facilities. We have two onsite caretakers (LES and Steve) for maintaining the property. Bitumen road access for caravans and all types of vehicles. NO DOGS ALLOWED A large flat grassed area for camping and 200m walk to The Boyne River at Pikes Crossing with access for swimming. There is an area to launch small boats and ideal for canoeing and kayaking in protected waters. Close to Lake Awoonga (4km drive) for fishing and all other aquatic activities along with a great barramundi stocked impoundment. Be sure to check out the Barramundi Hatchery near the dam. There is a large undercover area with tables and chairs, flushing toilets and hot showers and designated campfire area and a fully kitted out commercial kitchen and BBQs for your use. Please ensure this is left clean after your use and don't take what does not belong to you. MAXIMUM stay in alignment with Gladstone Council regulations is 2 weeks. We do not cater for permanents. We welcome community functions, weddings, birthday parties and youth groups. Inquiries welcome.

We had a fantastic stay at this place. The site was spacious, giving us plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We originally booked for three nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay for an extra night. It was also great to have access to a washing machine, available for a small donation, which was a really thoughtful and convenient touch. We would definitely come back again and highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

A fantastic spot for our two-night off-grid shake-down with our new caravan! The hosts were very friendly, meeting us on arrival and showing us to our site. The site was level, well maintained and had beautiful views across the avocado farm and rolling hills. The drive in and out was an added bonus, giving us the chance to test our tow vehicle and caravan on some varied terrain. A peaceful, scenic place to stay, and exactly what we were looking for. We’d happily stay again and would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing off-grid camping experience.

It doesn't feel like a typical campsite. You’re set among hills and small ponds, making you feel truly immersed in nature. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves, and Warren provided a fire pit for us to use outside our campervan, which made our stay perfect. The dawn was gorgeous. Just keep in mind there’s nowhere on-site to buy supplies. Oh, and each area has a portable toilet and shower. Highly recommended.

Dean the host was so welcoming! This is a great location with a great history and very cool to say we’ve stayed at the old Hartleys Croc site with a croc even in the creek on the site. The only downfall was that we weren’t allowed to park our camper trailer on the grass so it was separate to our tent area. This meant we had to walk between our camper trailer kitchen and swag. Otherwise, great overnight stay.
