Welcome to our enchanting avocado farm, a lush haven nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland at one of the highest points on the range. Enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding hills as you immerse yourself in the beauty of our property, where flourishing avocado orchards meet clear blue skies. PLEASE NOTE - All travellers who are towing a caravan or trailer must travel to Bellthorpe via Mears Lane. The Bellthorpe Range Road has restrictions and is unsuitable for large vehicles any type of trailer or caravan. Enjoy The Old Avocado Farm campsite and the local activities listed in the information below. CAMPSITE HIGHLIGHTS Avocado Orchard Campsite: Park your Vehicle or RV surrounded by our shady avocado trees. Breathe in the fresh air as you wake up to the gentle rustle of leaves and rainforest bird songs. Nature Trails: Discover a scenic trail winding through avocado groves, past a spring-fed dam, and around a natural rainforest. Enjoy breathtaking views and find hidden nooks perfect for quiet contemplation or capturing Instagram-worthy shots. Campfire Evenings: As the sun dips below the horizon, gather around a crackling campfire to connect with fellow campers. Or enjoy a campfire in the presence of your own company. Pet-Friendly Environment: Bring your furry friends along for the adventure! Our pet-friendly policy ensures that your four-legged companions can also enjoy the beauty of our avocado farm. Wildlife Viewing: Engage with the diverse life around our farm, from vibrant birds to wallabies and other local wildlife. Some may even spot our resident platypus family. Picnic Spots: Discover ideal spots across our property—whether under the cool shade of avocado trees, with panoramic hill views, or by the tranquil waters of our spring-fed dam. Stargazing: Experience the magic of a clear night sky as you gaze up at a blanket of twinkling stars. Our remote location ensures minimal light pollution, providing an ideal setting for stargazing enthusiasts. INFORMATION: - 20 minute drive to Maleny. - 1 hour drive to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. -10 minute drive away from the Bellthorpe National Park with both 4WD tracks and walking trails. Please visit the Government site for more information https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/bellthorpe/things-to-do - Flat sites for Vehicles, RV’s, Caravans and Campers - Pets permitted, but must be on a leash for the protection of our abundant wildlife. - For eco friendly Vehicles, RV's, Caravans and Campers only who follow leave no trace principles. - Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet and shower facilities. - All rubbish to be removed and disposed of offsite. - The avocado orchard is our business and livelihood, please do not pick the avocados. In avocado season, we have a honesty box for you with produce to purchase.

Had an absolute wonderful stay down by the lake at Tremayne. Fantastic hosts Neil & Joss, guide you to your campsite and swttle you in for your stay. Heading down to the lakeside is some steep downhillbsections and if your towing a van need to take some time to manuvre vehicle etc, but well worth the the stay if you have the skill. Thanks again guys, we'll be back maybe after our lap in 18mths. Cheers Darren & Julie

Easily the most accommodating and kindest hosts around. The property is gorgeous and you can tell they have a lot of love for the place. Will definitely be back, the dam and the special turf for the camping spots really made all the difference.

This place was amazing, calm quiet and private. on the edge of a lake, it was the perfect spot for our weekend away. The hosts were lovely and very hospitable. I would definitely go back.

We could get to the lake site due to the length of our van. (Lab Sprinter) But stayed at the to amongst the avocado which was great. Beautiful views. Nice little rainforest walk by the lake. A very nice stay indeed.

Highly recommend. We stayed down by the water and it was such a lovely spot! We saw lots of platypus and birds. Only 20 mins to Maleny.

Lakeside Campsite
The owner Neil is a great host was very responsive to any queries we had leading up to our stay and very helpful with any concerns and information once we arrived. Our site by the dam was beautiful and it was lovely hearing frogs and birds when things were quiet. It does have some areas of red dirt at this site and our dogs made a bit of a mess around our site and might be something to keep in mind. I don’t think the other sites have this problem however.

Love 🤍 the Summit with a view nestled amongst the avocado🥑trees. Super peaceful and private. Recieved a beautiful tray of avocados, upon our arrival from our hosts. Thank you for sharing your magnificent property.

The Grove Hideaway
Fantastic. Good site amongst the Avocados. Great walks through the rainforest and around other avocado orchard areas. Hosts communicated well, saw us to our site and dropped off some avocados for us. Very enjoyable.

Highly recommend. Neil and Joss are welcoming hosts. The property is peaceful, with lots to look at. We enjoyed the rainforest walk and spotting the platypus in the lake. The bird watching was also very good. The bag full of avos was also greatly appreciated.

We loved our stay at Tremayne Old Avocado Farm. The camping site was excellent and truly the quietest place we have ever camped. Neil and Joss are lovely and took time out of their busy day to meet us, share some avocados and some stories. We even managed to catch many glimpses of the platypus in the dam. We highly recommend camping here for its natural beauty and farm friendly atmosphere. Thanks Neil and Joss - we will be back. Di and Karl

Neil & Jos were great hosts - the property is very peaceful and scenic. You know you are elevated after the drive up the range - so close to Bris but you feel you are in the ranges far from the city. Lovely grassy sites, nice little walk around the property. Definitely recommend a visit - the bonus are the avocadoes & Neils comedy.

Lakeside Campsite
Had a great couple of days at the Lakeside Campsite. The site was flat and clean right next to the water. Our host Neil was friendly and helpful and even gave us a bucketful of avocados. The area was very green and picturesque and on our first morning there we spotted one of the resident platypuses, which was a real treat. Access to the site is a bit steep so if you are towing a camper a 4WD would be more suited as a tow vehicle.

We love our stay at Tremayne - The Old Avocado Farm. The views were beautiful, the hosts were awesome and very friendly. So much bird life and really enjoyed the walk through the rain forest.

Brilliant spot and plenty of space between campsites to give everyone a sense of seclusion. Neil and his wife were also very accomodating, making for a great experience overall. Hope to be back.

Our second stay here - had to come back to experience the lakeside which was 10/10 We loved spotting the platypus in the lake. Saw so many stars and shooting stars. Thank you Neil and Joss for sharing your beautiful farm 😊
