Welcome to our enchanting avocado farm, a lush haven nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland at one of the highest points on the range. Enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding hills as you immerse yourself in the beauty of our property, where flourishing avocado orchards meet clear blue skies. PLEASE NOTE - All travellers who are towing a caravan or trailer must travel to Bellthorpe via Mears Lane. The Bellthorpe Range Road has restrictions and is unsuitable for large vehicles any type of trailer or caravan. Enjoy The Old Avocado Farm campsite and the local activities listed in the information below. CAMPSITE HIGHLIGHTS Avocado Orchard Campsite: Park your Vehicle or RV surrounded by our shady avocado trees. Breathe in the fresh air as you wake up to the gentle rustle of leaves and rainforest bird songs. Nature Trails: Discover a scenic trail winding through avocado groves, past a spring-fed dam, and around a natural rainforest. Enjoy breathtaking views and find hidden nooks perfect for quiet contemplation or capturing Instagram-worthy shots. Campfire Evenings: As the sun dips below the horizon, gather around a crackling campfire to connect with fellow campers. Or enjoy a campfire in the presence of your own company. Pet-Friendly Environment: Our pet-friendly policy ensures that your four-legged companions can also enjoy the beauty of our avocado farm. Wildlife Viewing: Engage with the diverse life around our farm, from vibrant birds to wallabies and other local wildlife. Some may even spot our resident platypus family. Picnic Spots: Discover ideal spots across our property—nder the cool shade of avocado trees, with panoramic hill views, or by the tranquil waters of our spring-fed dam. Stargazing: Experience the magic of a clear night sky as you gaze up at a blanket of twinkling stars. Our remote location ensures minimal light pollution, providing an ideal setting for stargazing enthusiasts. INFORMATION: - 20 minute drive to Maleny. - 1 hour drive to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast. -10 minute drive away from the Bellthorpe National Park with both 4WD tracks and walking trails. Please visit the Government site for more information https://parks.des.qld.gov.au/parks/bellthorpe/things-to-do - Flat sites for Vehicles, RV’s, Caravans and Campers - Pets permitted, but must be on a leash for the protection of our abundant wildlife. - For eco friendly Vehicles, RV's, Caravans and Campers only who follow leave no trace principles. - Campers must be self sufficient with their own toilet and shower facilities. - All rubbish to be removed and disposed of offsite. - The avocado orchard is our business and livelihood, please do not pick the avocados.

The site is the perfect spot for relaxation whilst enjoying cozy campfires under a starlit sky. From the Lakeside site, you have easy access to the walking trails taking you up to the orchard and around the whole farm. Maximum caravan length 5m. A family of platypuses live in this lake and are seen and heard regularly. Please note maximum length for vehicle set up/including RV is 33ft

Beautiful place to spend a few day relaxing and enjoying the sunshine and nature aswell as the stars at night. Well maintained property and Neil and his Wife are wonderful hosts and very welcoming will definitely be staying there again.

The Summit with views
We loved our stay at Tremayne, The Old Avocado Farm. Neil and Joss were friendly, easy going, and hospitable hosts. We found it to be a relaxing, private, and serene getaway. We enjoyed lovely views from our site at the Summit including loads of bird life. If you prefer to be secluded from other campers, we would definitely recommend the Summit for your stay. There is no other campers within view from this site which we appreciated as our pup can sometimes be a bit funny around strangers. She still had plenty of room to run around on a long runner which we brought with us. The other sites appeared to have space between them but were within view of other campers so this is something to keep in mind if you prefer a bit more privacy. We were parked on a bit of a slope but still managed to find space to set up 2 vehicles, 2 small vans, a small tent and the fire pit which was provided. Nothing the 4x4 couldn't handle! Would definitely suggest packing warm depending on when you travel as it can get a bit blowy and cool especially at night. Would definitely recommend the rainforest walk which loops back past the dam. As suggested by Neil, spray some Bushman's repellent around your feet to deter the leeches. Also be sure to check your pup's feet if you take them along! Shoes with good traction are an absolute must as it can be slippery terrain with a mix of somewhat steep hills and water crossings. Overall, highly recommend as a beautiful place to getaway for a short break.

Another beautiful stay at the Avo farm. The rainforest walk and running streams is really nice especially in hot weather. Absolutely private, the occasional dog walker to wave to. Our 2nd stay and certainly not our last. Thanks for letting us stay on your beautiful property.

Neil and Joss's farm is so beautiful. You will have the most private, relaxing stay. The grass is so well maintained. Our 10 month old and two puppies loved it. Thank you.

Just wow. Neil’s property is so well maintained from the moment you drive in. Beautifully cared for and manicured. It was a breeze finding and the sites are immaculate. Just 1hr 12min from Brisbane - genuinely can’t wait to get back to this hidden gem.

The Summit with views
5m caravan stayed at the Summit. We were greated by Neil with avo’s in hand. Nicely mowed secluded area overlooking the below valley. Plenty of room for us & the dogs. We enjoyed the visits from the wallabies & kangaroos. With flyovers from hawks, eagles & black cockatoos mornings and afternoons. We explored the rainforest walk which ended at the dam. Great place to relax & unwind with a fire to finish the day. Definitely a location to return to.

Beautiful and quiet place to camp under the shade of an Elm tree. We loved our stay and had a great time 4wding through Bellthorpe national Park. Beautiful views, great hospitality from Neil & Jos and a great area to explore.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, beautiful quiet valley, and peaceful verdent views! I've never seen so many eagles in one place! Lots of lovely birds and even a dear across the hillside. 10/10 we will be returning :)

We enjoyed a fabulous weekend by the lake. Didn't see the local platypus family but the abundance of birdlife and endless tranquility made this campsite worth the effort to get there. An unexpected 6am storm on the last day put the camper trailer through its paces but it survived well. Laying in bed watching and listening to the storm rollover the lake was awesome. We loved it and the hosts were wonderful. Thanks Neil and Joss!!

Had an absolute wonderful stay down by the lake at Tremayne. Fantastic hosts Neil & Joss, guide you to your campsite and swttle you in for your stay. Heading down to the lakeside is some steep downhillbsections and if your towing a van need to take some time to manuvre vehicle etc, but well worth the the stay if you have the skill. Thanks again guys, we'll be back maybe after our lap in 18mths. Cheers Darren & Julie

Easily the most accommodating and kindest hosts around. The property is gorgeous and you can tell they have a lot of love for the place. Will definitely be back, the dam and the special turf for the camping spots really made all the difference.
