Hidden gem
Absolute hidden gem! Would have been better if we had connection to potable water, but that’s was a minor concern. Loved the layout.

Nothing to fault 👌❤️
Can't fault this place it has everything you need and more. We went when it was very quiet and we do non powered and no worries as they have an awesome kitchen set up and hot shower and beautiful surrounds to relax in. Then for the more lively they do celebrate like Australia day ect. I loved having the animals around and a baby duck that followed my son around everywhere it was so peaceful felt like a world away but so close to town

Well. After messaging the owner about the current cyclone Qld was experiencing ,roads flooding around the area, we were wondering if couldn’t get there what would happen only to be told there was a no change of date policy so we took a chance and decided to go via roads that weren’t flooded.. Turned up and nothing had been cleaned up since their Australia Day celebrations as decorations were scattered everywhere. Dam was full but very nasty with duck poo and broken water toys strewn through the dam,Looked nothing like the pictures. No way you could swim in it. Ducks basically took over our campsite pooing everywhere and trying to eat off our plates. Not a pleasant experience. Paid for three nights and left after the first. How this got runner up to the best campground I have no idea. Anyway will be deleting the hipcamp app as this will be our first and final time. Very disappointed and expensive night.

Would not go back to this place. The water is not clean in the dam, the communication from the owners is TERRIBLE, they still owe me money for Hipcamp overcharging me and didn't reply to a single message before or afterwards. And they packed it far too full of people it was unpleasant. Do not recommend if you like quiet peaceful camps for families.

Loved Hidden Camp 🙌🏼 Such a great atmosphere for any type of grouping situation. We had a blast for Australia Day weekend. The dam was a welcomed relief for the scorcher days we had with lots to do for the kids. The event activities were entertaining and thoughtful. Thanks Callan for a great stay..we will definitely be back!!
