Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
We are only a 45 minute drive from the stunning Rainbow Beach and the Fraser Coast and all it has to offer. We are also only a 45 minute drive to Noosa, Montville and Malaney which are all great spots for a day trip before you come back to relax around the campfire and enjoy some star gazing. We have an abundance of bird life including parrots, lorikeets, king fishers, cockatoos, rosellas and owls enjoy doing a camp oven in the fire pit provided. Campsites are located on a beautiful 40 acre property in the town of Gympie and is only accessible by 4WD.  The sites are suitable for self-sufficient campers who would like to relax under the trees or swim in the nearby creek.  You are welcome to set some Yabby pots in the creek or enjoy a kayak in the Creek we also have daily cattle feeding if you would like to help us.  Pets are welcome but must be on a leash while on the property.  Camp fires are permitted pending there are no restrictions. Please use the fire pit provided at each site. Kindling is available in the surrounding paddock and fire wood is available at a small extra charge.  Please note this is a 4WD access only camp site. Ellen's place was such a nice welcoming place to stay. Lots of space and peace and quiet. Ellen and her husband were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here

Great place to stay! lovely big cleared camp areas with plenty of room between campsites. Great hosts Ellen was wonderful with my granddaughter bringing chicks to our site and inviting us to feed the potty calf. Open fires and firewood available. Good location for day trips we went to Tin Can Bay to feed the dolphins. Sublime Farm and Brewery for lunch.

Close to Gympie and also inskip/rainbow beach etc. Such a relaxed place. Hosts are so accommodating and friendly also make you feel right at home. We travel a lot and we have really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend :)

Ellen greeted us with a big smile. She drove us down the property to our camp site, we had a chat. The spot we had was looking over the dam, which was full of water lily's the best spot. There are kayaks for people to enjoy with life jackets as well. The place we had, has a pottery fire pot, that's the only 1, so you can work out the best spot. There is plenty of property to go for a walk and pick up sticks along the way for your fire. I would only say for us, is that we need to buy a pop-up shower tent, as there was a few more people camped up than we expected to be lol. Lovely place and we will be back.

We absolutely loved it at Ellen's! Very welcoming and friendly hosts, they invited the kids to feed the cows. Beautiful quiet setting, sitting by the fire under the stars was a must! Would definitely go back again!

Such a beautiful spot, plenty of space to relax and spread out. The kids loved to see the cows. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to medical reasons but would absolutely love to head back another time!

Beautiful and quiet lovely spot!
Flame Tree Valley Gympie
Beautiful quiet camping spot next to the billabong. Excellent flat terrain so easy set up for caravans. Ellen was very accommodating and friendly. Lots of space and free firewood and fire pits to use. Less than 10 minutes from Gympie and the Victory trails it is worthwhile to spend a few days here.

Flame Tree Valley was very beautiful and relaxing. We were lucky enough to be the only people there and we had the best night with a fire and our dog. A bonus was the cute little ducky in the dam swimming around the whole time and our little visit from Harley the dog!

Fantasic location and setup for independent camping. Flat site, plenty of firewood, supplied BBQ and excellent hosts. Highly recommended.
